"Hey, (y/n) I was wondering if I could ask you something?"

My best friend, shay, said as he stood in the door way. I look up from my book and pushed my hair behind my ear.

"S-sure shay."

I tell him as I place my book mark in my book. I've always been quite shy and shay is really one of the few people I talk to. Well besides my brother, haythem.

"How would you like to go out to dinner with me? Maybe out in the old ship wreck in the north Atlantic or the cliff that over looks Boston?"

Shay asks me as he blushes. I smile and shake my head yes.

"I agree shay. It would be nice."

I tell him as I stand up from my desk. He smiles and walks over to me.

"Thank you. I'll pick you up tonight."

Shay says as he presses a kiss to my cheek. I blush bright red as he smirks and walks away. Once he's out of the room and the door is shut i smile. I begin to jump up and down squealing like a little girl that just got a new doll.

"What on earth are you doing (y/n)?"

I hear haythem ask and I freeze and blush bright red. When did he come in? How did I not hear him come in? I turn asnround and face him. I use my hair to cover my blushing red face as he chuckles.

"N-n-nothing."

I meekly tell him and he laughs some more. All he does it shakes his head and walks out. Haythem thankfully shuts the door behind him.

I sigh and fall backwards into my bed. Why am I so happy about this? I've had a crush on shay for a while now and I'm so happy he asked me out.

Later that night I was waiting outside for shay. My black and grey Templar gear blent in really well with the night time. I hear a twig snap and I look to my left to see shay walking towards me.

"Hello my date. Are you ready to go?"

Shay asks me and I nod. He holds out his arm and I loop my arm through his. I've heard a few students talking about how we should get together.

Shay leads me outside the city walls and into the woods. It's not that far to the cliff so we just walk. Once we arrive at the cliff I see a blanket set out with a few torches around it. Some food is set out as well.

"Did you do this?"

I ask him as I blush. He shouldn't have.

"Yes I did. Now let's eat."

Shay says as he leads me over to the blanket. I sit down and pull my hood down. Shay does the same and we begin to eat.

"So, tell me (y/n). What did you think of me when you first met me?"

Shay asks me as he tosses a piece of chicken into his mouth. He is leaning on his for arms with his back towards the ground. I am sitting Indian style as I nibble on a cracker.

"I D-dont know."

I tell him. I'm clearly lying but I don't want to tell him the truth. I would be to embarrassed to ever look at him again.

"Will you tell me if I tell you?"

He asks and I nod.

"Well when haythem introduced me to you I thought you were cute. Your (h/l) (h/c) looked silky soft and you were just adorable. I remember how you hid behind Haythem because you were to shy to meet me."

He said with a chuckle and I smiled.

"Well I t-thought you were hot. T-that scar was sexy and still is. When I met you I thought that you would be a great protector but I was to scared to meet you."

I tell him and his smile grows. He sits up and scoots closer to me. I blush harder as he gets closer to me.

"Can I kiss you?"

Shay asks me and I nod. He leans in and presses his lips apon mine. I blush 50 shades of bright red as I kiss him back.

Today was wonderful.
