"Arno!!"

I scream as I run into my husbands arms. He quickly wraps them around my trembling form as I hide my face in his chest.

"What could ever be the problem my dear?"

Arno asks me as he stokes my hair. I look up into his eyes only to see him looking down at me.

"It's the storm."

I tell him and he tightens his grip around me. Thunder booms off in the distance and I jump. I snuggle closer to Arno and he leans down and whispers in my ear.

"Come on, let's go towards the center of the building. The sounds will be quieter and I'll be able to hold you close."

He says softly as he takes my small hand in his and walks away. I follow behind him as he leads me through the halls. Thunder booms again and I jump. I hug his arm close to my body as we keep walking.

Finally we arrive in the living room. The living room is in the middle of the house. There are some people with their assassin outfits on sitting in here and talking.

"Master Dorian."

The address Arno as we sit down on a couch. They go back to their talking and I cuddle into Arno's shoulder. Thunder boomed yet again and the power went out. I screamed and began crying.

"Master Dorian! Lady (y/n)!"

The assassin's yell as they all run over and surround us. Candles are lit off one by one until the room has light again.

"Hush now. It's okay, your okay."

Arno whispers as he stands us. I bury my face into his chest as I cry. Fear is all I feel right now. My throat is dry and it's closing up. My hands are getting sweaty as I grip onto Arno's blue coat. I'm shaking as tears stream down my face.

"It's s-s-scared Arno."

I studder out and Arno holds me close to his body.

"Sir, what should we do?"

A Male assassin asked Arno.

"I want hald of you to go out and do whatever you can in this weather. The other half will to out and find all the other assassin's. Bring them back to me and I'll give them their orders."

Arno ordered and retreating footsteps filled my ears.

"It's okay. Let's just go to our bedroom and lay down. I'll hold you close to me and I won't let anything hurt you. No matter what, I love you."

Arno whispered to me as he leaned down. His arm slipped under my legs and his other arm slipped around my back. He lifted me up and my arms wrapped around his neck.

I buried my head in his neck as he carried me to the bedroom. Once we got there he laid me down and laid next to me.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and tangled our legs together. He wrapped one arm around my neck and another around my lower back. He pulled me into him as the storm raged on outside.

"Sleep my love."

He whispered and I closed my eyes. Thunder boomed and I cuddled into him. Sleep slowly took me away.
