"Hey (y/n) I have some news for you!"

My captain and best friend, Edward Kenway, says as he turns to me from his captains chair. We are both in the US navy.

"What's up Eddy?"

I ask him with a smirk on my face. He rolls his eyes with a chuckle.

"Didn't you say you were originally a marine?"

Edward asks me and I nod.

"Yes I did. After this tour I'm going to the air force so I can be with my husband. Why?"

I ask him and he chuckles.

"I managed to have you switch over now. The helicopter is already ready to take you to the air force base. Your bags are already back and all is good."

He said and I jumped out of my seat.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

I scream as I run out. I hear Edward's laughter from the bridge. I run down and jump right into that helicopter. The pilots take off as soon as I side the headset on.

After about and hour we are landing in the air force base. I smile as I look around the landing bay. I quickly grab my bags and jump out.

"Captain Kenway wants up back ASAP. Enjoy the chair force!"

The pilots yell to me as they take off. I roll my eyes and begin walking towards one of the airmen. Because I was a Maine Sargent, in the air force I am a Lieutenant. This airman was a private first class.

"Private!"

I yell as he turns around. He imeaditly straightens up and salutes me.

"Lieutenant. How can I help you?!"

He asks me as I stop in front of him.

"At ease. I am looking for Captain Kenway the Third. You might know him as Captain Connor."

I tell him and he relaxes.

"Ma'am he is in his quarters. Shall I take you to him?"

The privet asks me and I nod.

"Follow me."

He says as he begins to walk away. I throw my bag over my shoulder and follow after him. After a 3 mile walk the airman was panting hard and I haven't broke a sweat.

"Here are is quarters. Have a nice day."

The privet says as he walks away. I smile and walk up to the door. I knock three times and some rustling behind the door is heard.

"You are knocking on Captain Connor Kenway's door after I asked not to be disturbed. If you are of lower ranking I suggest you leave or else I'll ship you off to the marines! If you are of higher ranking my apologies, please come in!"

Connor yells from the other side and I walk in. He looks up from his desk and looks at me. A smile spreads across his lips as he runs up to me.

"(Y/n)!!"

He yells as he engulfs me into his arms. I am lifted into the air by the 6 foot 5 inch giant of a captain. I laugh and hug him back.

"What are you doing here?!"

Connor asks as he places me on the ground. I smile and press my lips to his.

"I switched branches to be with you. I missed you Connor."

I tell him as I smile. He pulls me into another hug after I'm done speaking.

"I'm so happy your here."

He tells me and I sigh as he holds me.

"I am too connor."
