(Y/N)'s POV
  I started walking home and I kicked a rock all the way there. After getting home I didn't feel like going inside so I climbed a tree and did pull ups on a branch. After a while, my arms got tired out so I did sit ups. While doing these exercises I thought of all the things I could do to change. Knowing how stubborn I am I decided to change that first. I reached in my pocket and called Tick.
  "Hello?" He asked through the phone.
  "Hey, do you, uh I don' know uh go somewhere with me later tonight?"
  "Like a date?"
  "Call it whatever, do you wanna come or not?"
  "Yeah. But if anyone asked, I asked you on this date."
  "Yeah yeah whatever meet me at the park."
  "Ok. See ya then." He hung up. I put my phone in my pocket and grabbed the branch my legs were hanging on and did a flip. I climbed down and went inside. I changed into a (F/C) and black dress. (Above) I got my phone and earbuds and shoved them in my black purse. I heard a knock at my door. I walked out and saw Tick at the door with a plain black button up shirt that was unbuttoned and a white shirt under. He was wearing blue jeans also.
  "I thought I said to meet me at the park." I said casually.
  "Nice dress. You look cute in it." He said grabbing my hand and taking me out to the forest. We walked around and he held my hand through it all. He didn't even hesitate to let go.
  "Where are you taking me?" I asked.
  "Just...just wait." He said keeping a straight face. After a while, we made it to a cliff.
  "What are we doing he-" I looked around and there were fireflies everywhere. I gazed at them for a while until I felt Tick wrap his arms around me. "Heh what are you doing? Did you plan this?"
  "Yup. Except I was about to call you but you called me first." He said digging his head in my neck.
  "Hey keep this PG please." I laughed.
  "Fine. But, I'm not letting you go." I looked at him and noticed the fireflies circling us. I smiled and kissed his cheek. I leaned my head on him.
  "Wanna lay down?" Tick asked.
  "Yeah. That would be nice." I said as he let go of me and lead me to a nice grassy area and we laid down. I placed my head gently on his chest and he wrapped his arm around me protectively pulling me close. I smiled as I closed my eyes for a while.
  "I never want to let you go." Jason said.
  "And neither do I. I just want a normal life. No demons. No powers. Just a normal assassin girl."
  "Why would you want that?" Tick asked.
  "Let's just say I envy people. They get to live a normal life with no problems. While I have to deal with what I am. People think I'm some spawn from Satan. The irony of my powers and what I am is just unreal."
  "I don't care what you are, I still like you."
  "Heh you're just saying that. When you first found out I'm a demon you were scared."
  "But not once did I ever stop liking you."
  "Is 'like' the only word you can use for how you feel about me?"
  "No. But I wasn't sure if you felt that way about me."
  "You're talking about 'love' right?" I asked.
  "Yeah. I mean, love is a strong word. I only used it with you because we were messing around. We're in high school. We don't know what love is."Tick explained.
  "But what if what we feel is love? Then what?" I asked.
  "Then we say three simple words."
  "And what three words are that?"
  "The first word is 'I' and the last word is 'you'. "
  "Heh. I get it."
  "Are you ok?" He asked me.
  "Yeah. I'm just nervous about saying it. Like you said, we only say it when we are messing around."
  "I'll go first if you want."
  "No. I will say it."
  "Alright. Go."
  "I-I...l-love you." I said looking up at him. He smiled and kissed my head.
  "I love you too."
