Hey guys! Happy 4th of July! In honor of America, I will make a 4th of July special. This chapter will not effect the original story line. I hope you enjoy! And I know they don't have school on 4th of July but deal with it. Don't play song yet.

Tick's POV
I'm going around school inviting my friends to my 4th of July party. I've already gotten:
Kai
Ryland
Shay
Anne
Jack
(Go vote on who is going to officially be in the book but for now they are both here)
All I need now is to get the guts to invite (Y/N). I need to ask someone for help. Jack? Maybe. Ryland? Nope he doesn't even know how to talk to me. Kai? Another maybe. Whoever I see first I guess.
I walked through the E-halls and I saw Jack leaning on a wall.
"Hey Tick!" Jack waved. "You on break or are you ditching class?"
"On break. Can I ask you something?"
"You just did." Jack joked pushing himself off the wall." Alright what is it?"
"I want to invite (Y/N) to my 4th of July party and I don't know how."
"Aren't you a flirt? Just pretend that she is some other girl. Or just be yourself. You guys are best friends, you shouldn't be nervous."
"Thanks Jack. You're the best." I thanked. We spent the rest of our break just talking. I went to music. I had Music room 4. I know (Y/N) has the room next to me. I sat down and I heard some singing from the other room. I started to write down the lyrics.

  "Jason! Please pay attention." The teacher told me.
  "Oh uh sorry." I apologized. I couldn't stop thinking of the song I heard through the wall. After class I went to find (Y/N). Then I heard someone humming the song I heard. It was (Y/N).
  "Hey (Y/N)! What are you humming?" I asked putting an arm around her shoulder.
  "Oh a song I had to sing in class. "She replied looking at a text book in her hands.
  "That was you singing? Wow. You're really good." I complemented.
  "Oh uh thank you. Did you heard me through the walls?"
  "Uh yeah actually," I toke out the piece of paper I wrote the lyrics on and showed it to her,"I liked it so much I wrote the lyrics."
  "Heh thanks. Well j got to get going. I will see you later." She removed my arm and started to walk off.
  "Wait!" I yelled and got her attention." I uh wanted to invite to uh my 4th of July party." I scratched the back of my neck.
  "Yeah! I will come. Just text me the address. See ya!" She laughed and ran off.
  "Yes!" I fist bumped and jumped around then head to class.

(Y/N)'s POV
I went to my locker after class. I grabbed my books and backpack. I went to look for my sister when he popped up in my head.
  Hey~how ya doing?
"Go away Zen! I'm trying to have a good day here."
  I thought that I would make it better.
  "No you make it worse. Maybe if you stopped hitting on me maybe this would be better."
  Ok fine. I won't hit on you. Can we talk at least?
  "Later I need to find Shay."
  Ugh fine I will see you later.
  "Bye."
  See ya.
And like that he was gone. Then someone bumped into me and I fell until someone caught me. I looked up and,of course, it was Zen. He looked less insane then usual. He was in an uniform and his bandages weren't bloody. His hair was even done.
  "Nice save Zen." I rolled my eyes.
  "Hey! I wouldn't be a guardian if I didn't save you from getting hurt."
  "Aw how sweet." I said sarcastically.
  "How about a reward for your savior?" He said picking me up and pointing to his cheek. I smirked and slapped him.
  "Is that good enough?" I laughed. His reaction was priceless.
  "I will get you next time though." He said then left.
  I walked off again and found my sister and we started to walk home when I got a text.
  "Who's that?" My sister asked looking over my shoulder.
  "No one!" I yelled pulling my phone to my chest.
  "Why you nervous? Is it your secret boyfriend?" She teased.
  "Heh no. I just do t like people reading my text."
  "Sure~ but seriously who is it."I looked at my phone.
  "It's Tick. He sent me the address to his party."
  "Oh ok. You going?"she asked
  "Well yeah all my friends will be there."
  "Alright. Then let's get you a dress!" She squealed.
  "Oh my gosh no!"
  "Yes!" She yelled grabbing my wrist and dragging me to the store. She made try on a bunch of dresses. On stoke out the most. A light blue dress with a lace bottom. It had a white waist band.

And Shay got a white short dress with a gray waist band tied in a bow in the front.

We went home and got dress and I tried to get away from my sister since she was trying to put make up on me.
  "IM ALREADY IN A DRESS!!!  WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT FROM ME!?!?"
  "TO MAKE YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL!"
  "IM ALREADY FABULOUS!!"I screamed. I ran out the door with my phone in a knife sheath strapped to my leg under my dress. I have another one on my left leg with a knife in it. I don't like to carry purses. I got out my phone and looked at the address of party and ran there.

  I finally got there and I was out of breath. The party was on top of a hill at the edge of town. There was a single cherry blossom tree there.
  "Oh hey (Y/N)! How did you get here without your sister?" Tick asked coming to me.
  "Oh I ran. She threatened to put make up on me."

Tick's POV (didn't see that coming did ya)
When I saw (Y/N) come she was panting.
  "Oh hey (Y/N). How did you get here without your sister?"
  "Oh I ran. She threatened to put makeup on me. " I got a good look at what she was wearing and I blushed and looked away hoping she wouldn't notice.
  "Uh n-nice dress."
  "Oh thanks my sister made me wear it. She should've here any minute."
  "Oh ok good the fireworks are about to go off." I said grabbing her hand leading her to the edge of the hill and sat down with her. I asked all the guys to stay near the tree so I could have some time with (Y/N). They all agreed. We sat there as her sister ran at her then realized it was time. Everyone was in the tree watching the fireworks. I inched my hand towards (Y/N)'s and I guess she saw and put her hand in mine before I could even touch her. Then she leaned her head on my shoulder.
  "Happy 4th of July Jason." She whispered.
  I blushed because she used my first name. "Happy 4th of July (Y/N)" I whispered back kissing her head.
