TeamOfDreams is a growing community on Wattpad with the overall mission of wanting, "...new and experienced authors to become more comfortable in their own skins as writers. To this end, it is our mission to offer activities and education that further the success of the members of our Wattpad community."

The current team is searching for a fifth person to join us as an admin. Specifically, we are hoping to find a poet; we would like to expand our scope to include the poets and poetry of Wattpad.

Team members share in the current responsibilities, though we each tend to stick with what we do best and like most. We would expect the same from a fifth member of our team. Said person need not be proficient in all areas of the listed potential responsibilities, but the broader their skills, the better. (Note, this is not a paid position; we are all volunteers here!)

Potential Responsibility Areas:

Advertising and marketing for team projects on Wattpad both in the forums and on our profile

Producing content for contest/project books such as our official magazine, Aspire.
Updating books including uploading pictures, dedicating chapters, and creating external links.

Helping with contests (entry management, judge recruitment and wrangling, and perhaps judging)

Potentially taking over a current project or creating projects of their own to oversee, in particular poetry projects such as our Pass the Poetry weekly prompts.

Requirements:

Speaks/writes English effectively

Active on forums

Judging/Review experience, in particular with poetry

Demonstrated consistent activity on Wattpad

Demonstrated poet with a significant anthology, or amount, of poetry published on Wattpad

Ability to behave professionally

Ability to use Google Docs/Sheets, Slack (very similar to Discord), and Zoom (video chat)

Aged 18+

LGBTQ+/Mature friendly

Free for at least two hours one Sunday a month at 1PM Eastern for a team meeting

Desire and ability to interact with team on a daily basis (in Slack).

Preferences (not required, but we'd like to have):

Live between Pacific and Central European time zones

Book club experience

Weekly prompt challenge experience

Contest participant experience

Contest admining experience, in particular with poetry
