Title: 5/5 I actually find the title to be really unique. Despite there being a few with the same on Wattpad, I think this story fits it so much better. The metaphor you figure out after reading is done really well. Not only that, but it draws my attention to it, even before knowing what it was about.

Cover: 4/5 I think the cover is attention-grabbing enough. I love the simplicity and minimalist art style of it. I also really like that the title is large and attention-grabbing. My only thing is that the cover is kind of blurry as if the size isn't right. But that's all! Other than that, it fits well.

Blurb: 2/5 I'm not a fan of the blurb. I genuinely don't think there's enough information to really go off of. Personally, I feel like that hurts the chances of the story getting the recognition I think it deserves.

Plot: 5/5 The plot, overall, is extremely creative. The subject it handles is really complicated and I think the author does an amazing job with such a delicate plot. When reading, it's so easy to really immerse yourself into the story with no trouble there. As stated before, it's really unique and I think this is one that teaches a lesson and also touches on realistic struggles in life.

Pacing: 5/5 For me, I think the pacing is fine. With a topic like this, it just wouldn't do to breeze past all the issues. The author does well with the arc and really tells the story in a paced fashion.

Character Development: 4/5 I think the character development is groundbreaking honestly. The author really takes her main character, Jay, and brings him to life. Especially with the circumstances Jay has to face. There are some moments I felt could have been a bit tighter, but overall, I loved every single character presented. Well done!

Overall Comments: Learning to Swim is really worth reading. It was recently featured on the Editor's Picks list and it deserved it. Past that, I just feel this story needs so much more recognition than it has. I feel a lot more people need to read this story and love it, haha! But truly, the author does well with the topic and I feel she really knows her stuff. I find a lot of people will be able to relate on a deeper basis. It's a story truly worth reading.
