[ Time Rewinds From when Jungkook Confessed to Taehyung ]

Hurt, shattered, not given what he wanted after giving his love, Jungkook left his love alone to rethink

Yes, Jungkook was heartbroken, but it wasn't like him to give up. He believes in his own delusional mind that Taehyung stuttered from saying yes to no even if it wasn't true at all

He clutch his fist until it felt numb and fell on his own feet

Palming his face with both hands, he starts crying, crying at how pitiful he was

"Why do I do this to myself.."

It hurts. Jeon Jungkook has never let a tear shed before and this was his first, his pride felt hurt and all of this is for one guy

He stayed like that for a few moment until his mourning would end

Ring.. ring..

He looks up to his ringing phone and saw the contact

Jimin.. now of all timing..

He did ignored the call and let it be, continuing to cover his ears

Ring.. Ring..!

Being annoyed for too long and continuously, he picked up the phone

"Go away, I hate everything right now" he growls but it seems his sobby voice was still visible to the ear

"Jungkook? Are you crying?"

Jungkook was about to hang up but it seems that Jimin predicted that first

"If you're going to hang up, at least listen to me fir-" Jungkook gave no damn to what Jimin has to say, it may even make his mental worst

Ringgg ringgg

"Jimin, if you don't stop calling then I will-"

"Did you get heartbroken?" Jungkook went silent

"How did you know?"

"It was just a guess but I've known you for quite sometime now you know"

"Lemme guess.. did you get rejected by Taehyung?" Jungkook bit his lips

"Whoa, I was right?? Sorry if this is the wrong time but do you want some company??" Jungkook nod but of course Jimin wouldn't know that, he didn't want Jimin's company but was too stubborn to say that he needs it

"I'm coming over, whatever you say so wait for me ok?" Jimin ended he call

But little did he know that his comfort friend will soon be betraying him behind his back, making matters worst for him

Jimin leaned back from his chair, pencil rolling around the tip of his Cupid's bow while making a duck like lips to the ceiling

He wasn't happy, but he was also glad. He never expected for his 'best friend' to betray him after confessing his feelings. Taehyung to him now is a betrayer. In his mind right now isn't the paper, it was only Jungkook

"What if everything works out in the end.." Jimin mumbles. The scattered paper on his desk wasn't getting tidier either even if he closes his eyes

But when he opened his eyes, he finally recalls

"It's my fucking fault." He should've known that to incorporate Taehyung in their little plan was a fault to his feelings. Honestly that was why he brought Hoseok to the picture, to help with the whole process of getting his best friend's mind off someone else.

But Jungkook would be the one who was persistent about it.

He calls Hoseok only to know he had taken a few steps further.

"I'm bringing Taehyung to my place.." Jimin knew that Hoseok was planning something, he just didn't want to believe it. He tried to not care.

"It it works out, I can have a chance with Taehyung" Hoseok laughs at the end.

Jimin finds it worrying and suspicious but pays no much mind.

There wasn't anyone to protest his saying, not his rack of silent clothes, not his computer, not even himself. He slowly approaches the tall mirror before him, dusting out invisible dusts and setting his hair at its best

"You're not friends with Taehyung anymore. You don't care anymore." He convinced himself before he heads to Jungkook's.

"Jungkookie!" He repeatedly press on the bell much impatiently

Jungkook wasn't the type to handle loud and annoying voices, especially if it's capable of hitting his head and in this case, he wishes to take off the bell

"Will you stop ringing the bell?!" He sigh yells and opens the gate for him and Jimin drove himself in before parking it and ran up to hug Jungkook

"Awww, is baby kookie sad?" He playfully pats his hair, ruffling it in the process earning a slap on the hand by the other

"Knock it off, I'm not a baby" He click his tongue

"Alright alright, so care to tell me on what happened?"

Seeing Jungkook sighing and kept puckering his lips, he couldn't help but sigh at how sad Jungkook must be. It was his first, even if they were friends for a long time, he has never seen him so sad in the soul. Jimin pulls him so they would talk properly in the living room

"He's just confused.. he'll like me back.." Jungkook mumbles, head low in attempts of convincing himself.

"No, he won't. Just face it. Maybe you're the one who's confused with your feelings"

Jungkook looks up to Jimin, eyes in disbelief
"I don't believe you.."

"Your face says that you do.. you must confuse lust with love" Jimin stood up and moved closer to sit on the younger's lap and wrapped his arms around his neck

"I can replace him for you" he seductively licked his lips

If Jungkook didn't think that was sexy, he would lie. But unfortunately, it didn't hit him the same way as a simple moan of an ASMR artist would so he pushed Jimin out of his way

"Not working"

Jimin grinds his teeth is frustration and got off of him.

"Not a bit?"

"Not a bit"

Jimin threw a fit "I put on everything for you! Why won't you love me?!" He clutch his fist

"Hyung. You're being delusional. Why go for someone who does love you back?" And then it hit both of them. To Jungkook, Jimin was a replica of his current feelings and it hit him hard too

"B-but.. i have no one.." his voice began to shake from the upcoming tear

"You have Yoongi and Hoseok.." Jimin stood up "I see Hoseok as a best friend"

"And Yoongi?" Jimin was unable to speak back. What did he think of Yoongi?

"Yoongi was always there for you ever remember?"

"He's just a fling. A fuck buddy. You know that."

"And yet he treats you more than that. Don't you remember?"

Multiple flashbacks started. He remembers how Yoongi wakes him everyday, how he makes sure he was ok and how he was always there when he needed someone by his side. It was different from Jungkook, sure they were childhood

Jimin allowed himself to exit Jungkook's home after realizing that whatever he does , Jungkook will never like him, it's in his eyes

"I've always loved you.." Jimin said as his back was facing Jungkook.

"But I don't"

Jimin nods, tears slipping out of his orbs that were close to unnoticeable and exited himself and drove away

Jungkook would lie if he said he didn't feel bad for Jimin. He sat on his couch and thought about all the things that happened on this particular day that not even the sound of doors opening that was caused by Taehyung were effecting him, he didn't pay attention to it either or maybe he was just too scared to face him?

"Maybe.. maybe he's straight.." he was starting to lose hope. What came to be a positive heartbreak became into a long thinking session

Flashbacks were occurring at the back of his head when his class pointed and laughed at him when his sexuality was exposed

That was the day where he confessed to a boy that's in psychology major, the same major as him and he was well known caught up to have some 'decease' for the sexuality and pointed to be a failure of a physiologist in the future. That was why he stopped going to university. That was also the same day where he was on a rage and became a cam boy

Maybe he has thought for too long, long enough for him to just shut his eyes off and sleep to get away from everything. But it seems the kakao notification rang from his phone so he picked it up

Yoongi didn't reply for a while, and left him on seen so he thought that Yoongi was either hiding something or was distracted

Before Yoongi texted Jungkook, he was on the bus sitting exactly next to the window with no one besides him because his usual face looks terrifying as it is. The red lights were causing multiple people that was standing to stumble and that's when by the window he saw a boy, in a red car with seemingly tears on his face as his window was slightly opened,

"Jimin?" Yoongi mouthed but couldn't believe that he was crying. He texted the younger but didn't seem to be read so he called him instead which this time, thankfully picked up

"Hyung..?" His voice crooked

"I'm on the bus next to you, meet me at the next bus stop. Let's talk" Jimin later responded with a yes, he was in need of comfort in his heartbreak situation

And as said, the next stop was where Jimin and Yoongi met.

Yoongi ran up to Jimin as soon as he got out of his car, holding his hand for comfort

"Why are you crying?" It was the first time for the older to feel sympathy or felt like he needed to soften himself when talking, usually it would just be all bite and no talk

"Jungkook.." he didn't had the chance to finish and Yoongi has already texted Jungkook

"Wait" He halted his fingers from tapping any further which caused the last thing said by Jungkook to be

Yoongi hugged and patted his back and whispered some comforting words that were surely calming the boy. "It's ok..it's ok.. I'm here" But even so, the tears didn't stop, it poured more then before.

But the day wasn't dark and didn't show a bit of rain at all, this causes for them to be the center of attentions of walking pedestrians, especially to those who are waiting for the bus

"Let's take this somewhere else" Jimin nods while being carried to his car. Taking Jimin's car keys, he decided it would be best for him to drive instead of a boy with blurry eyes at the moment. But even so, it was alright since Jimin often lends his car to him anyways

"I see.." it took time but Jimin finished his explaining the entire situation he's facing m.

By the time they had arrived at Jimin's place it was already late by day and Jimin's eyes weren't wet anymore and that's when Jimin realises

"Weren't you planning on going somewhere, hyung?"

"I was planning on going to Hoseok's place to congratulate him.. but you're more important" he kissed Jimin's forehead. At this point, Jimin was thinking about what Jungkook had said earlier about Yoongi.

Jimin had halt for a moment "Taehyung.."

They had been close, the closest of all friends. And yet he has this off feeling about his best friend he didn't want to believe.

"What's wrong with Taehyung?"

"I don't know.." He just had a bad hunch. "I'm just a bit worried. Jungkook doesn't know Tae is in Hoseok's place.. I think it's best to tell."

Jimin can never hate Taehyung after all. They're so deep in each other that the ruler of all had given him this chance to repay for whay he has done.

Jungkook himself was having an inner panic. It's been a while and Taehyung hasn't returned home. The sky that was orange colored became dark now. He regretted his decisions of  sulking for too long

That's when Jimin calls him again

"Jungkook" Jimin sounds different, he was more serious. "Is Taehyung home?"

"No. He's not. I'm sorry but I'm not in the mood to—"

"No it's not about that. This is not about us but I have a bad hunch about Taehyung."

Jungkook rose up from the sofa "How do you know? Is this a trap?"

"You know what? I don't know myself but I think it's a best friend telepathy thing. He's at Hoseok hyung's place. Can you check? Your place is more near to his."

Jungkook can't say he's not worried himself but he didn't think Jimin would be. He gave an ok before he rushes down to his hyung place.

"If he's at Hoseok's place then it's probably nothing." But as he said that, he realize his hyung is more desperate in terms of love than he remembers last time. The last time he dated someone had not getter well because Hoseok was too obsessive and forceful against her.

Then he should press his gas harder.

He has bittersweet feelings about this that one point he wish that they would be there and not at the same time. But his mind was set on one thing

"I swear to god if anything happens to himself, I'll commit Seppuku"

And that's a fact he stated ever since he realized he had feelings for the older

And thank goddess he made it, the extra keys Hoseok kept under the rocks were helpful after all but what he arrived in is wasn't at a pleasant moment.

Taehyung was being forced to kiss and tears were slipping out of the submissive boy. Just as Yoongi feared and told him about

When he took a closer look, Taehyung's tears weren't fake but he wasn't putting up much of a fight. He was confused but his confusion was taken over by rage when he pulls Hoseok away from his love and uses the punches he learned from when he learned boxing and him in the abdomen where he soon fall unconscious from.

He finally notices Taehyung's weak body that was unable to move and gets the idea that he was probably paralyzed. So he carried him, more accurately the bridal style kind of carry and put him in his car

Overall, Jungkook was pissed, but manages to still text Yoongi that Taehyung is now secured safe with him

This is the first time I had write something that's 2700 plus words and I'm surprised that it was only a short recall story TT
