Again, a good question. Also a tough one. In my opinion, I honestly could care less about the animal control officers from the first movie, specifically the guy with the mullet. They were my least favorite characters. I'm okay if we see other animal control officers but not those two. The story that could go behind their disappearance is that they either quit their job or were fired.
