~The Wedding~
((Ehehehuueueuehue happy Valentine's Day, readers on the other side of the date line. Hope you enjoy. It feels awkward writing this idk why, but I hope you guys like it anyway.))
"This is great!" Scott said, looking around.
"Is it?" Twitch asked.
They were standing in the Botanical Gardens in Australia. It was the best place Twitch could get at such a short notice. That being said, it was very beautiful, and a lot of people had their weddings here.
"Yeah," Scott said. "It's a cute little place. Very green. I like the Japanese gardens."
"Mhm..." Twitch said, getting the distinct impression that Scott was just so ecstatic to be getting married that he could have been married in her back yard for all he cared. "Well, as long as you're happy..."
The wedding was to be held in half an hour. Scott and Vincent were already in suits, but Scott refused to let Vincent see. "After all," he insisted, "It's bad luck!"
As a result, they were just exploring the gardens for a while before the actual ceremony began. It was to be very informal, they were going to exchange a few vows and then Twitch had bought them tickets to the Koala Sanctuary, because that was about as close to a petting zoo as she could get. Then they were going to head up to the Lookout, which was, in her opinion, one of the most beautiful places in Aus.
As for the guests, there were just Fritz (the ringbearer), Jeremy (Vincent's best man), Mike (Scott's best man), Twitch, and two other guests, SarahBarisas, because Twitch forgot to let them come to a previous chapter, and Scott_im_a_freak, because Twitch felt bad about just putting '*shrugs*' after their name when she tagged them in another book.
After a while, they wandered back to the place where the wedding was to be held.
"Oh, geez," Twitch grabbed Scott_im_a_freak and SarahBarisas by the arms, pulling them down into seats next to her. "We're late."
Vincent and Scott were already at the altar, though the vows hadn't been exchanged yet.
The Officiant started to talk, "We are gathered here today to celebrate the unity of these two people. Before we begin, is there any reason why these two men should not be united in matrimony? Speak now, or forever hold your peace..."
There was silence. Nobody had any objection.
Vincent nodded, "Scott, I vow that I will always be faithful to you, that I will always stay true to you. You're the only one for me. I will look after you, and make sure that nothing ever happens to you for as long as I protect you."
Scott smiled, "Vincent, I vow that I will always love you with all of my heart, that I will endeavour to be the best husband that I can be. I'll never again be ashamed to tell people that I love somebody of my own gender."
"We will now exchange rings."
Fritz darted up with a little cushion with two rings on it. Scott practically squealed, "Vincent, they're beautiful!"
The rings consisted of a gold band with ruby and amethyst infused into the metal, swirling around it like a red and purple candy-cane. Vincent grinned, "I thought you'd like it." He took one of the rings and slid it onto Scott's ring finger.
Scott took the other ring and put it on Vincent's finger, "I love it!"
The Officiant nodded and then turned to Vincent, "Vincent Bishop, do you take this man, Scott Cawthon, to be your lawfully wedded husband? For better or for worse, through sickness and good health?"
Vincent grinned, "Of course I do."
"Scott Cawthon, do you take this man, Vincent Bishop, to be your lawfully wedded husband? For better or for worse, through sickness and good health?"
"I wouldn't have it any other way," Scott said. "I do."
"Then I pronounce you, husband and husband. You may now kiss the groom."
Vincent grinned at Scott and took him in his arms. They stared at each other a little bit, smiling, and then Vincent kissed him.
Mike wolf-whistled, the three members of the audience laughed.
Vincent and Scott stayed there for a little while before Scott pulled away, grinning, "C'mon, Mr Cawthon, there's kangaroos to be pet!"
Vincent chuckled, "Alright, alright."
Hand in hand, they walked back away from the altar, the others following.
"Okay," Twitch said. "Everybody in the limo... time to get our photos taken with koalas!"
They went to the koala sanctuary, where Scott led Vincent around to the 'fluffy animals', the platypus, wombat, koalas and the big enclosure where there were a hundred or so kangaroos that you could feed and pet.
Then Vincent led Scott to the venomous snakes and crocodiles. They took a photo with a long, lazy-looking python. They even got to see a crocodile show - Twitch has enclosed a video below.
((A/N, yes, I did take this video - though not at their wedding, lol! The snap you can hear just shows the immense power of a crocodile's jaws. It came from its mouth snapping together! And they're virtually invisible in the water - could you pick him out before he surfaced? Most likely not! Be very careful if you ever go near any bodies of water in AUS, especially in the Northern Territory. In fact, it's best just to stay away. This has been a PSA. ))

Finally, they went to the Lookout, which is, as stated before, one of the most beautiful places. Twitch tried to take a photo, but it pales in comparison to the real thing.
The newly-wedded Cawthons stood leaning on the railing, looking over at the lights.
"It really is beautiful," Scott said.
"Yeah," Vincent said.
Scott leaned his head on Vincent's shoulder and smiled, "I love you, Vin."
Vincent smiled back, "I love you, too."
"C'mon guys, it's time to go back," Twitch called over from the café where Scott_im_a_freak, SarahBarisas and her were eating Ben and Jerry's.
"I'll have to leave you two here," she said to them. "Sorry."
Vincent and Scott walked over, "No way, Twitchy. You guys go back to the dimension. My husband and I are going on honeymoon. Don't dare us anything for a while~" He grinned and clicked his fingers, and both he and Scott disappeared.
Twitch rolled her eyes, "Poor Scott. Anywho, that about wraps it up. Let's go, guys."
All the nightguards took hands, Twitch closed her eyes and they all disappeared, leaving Scott_im_a_freak and SarahBarisas on top of a mountain in the middle of Australia.
The end.
((I'm the best friend ever.))
