Annabeth: *whispering* okay everybody, are we all set?

Hazel: Everybody's ready.

Frank: Where's Percy?

Nico: In his room upstairs. He'll be down any minute.

Piper: Then we've got to make this quick. Lower your voices, everybody, we don't want Percy hearing us!

Annabeth: Readers, keep your voice down too!! Sheesh!

Leo: Readers have such loud thoughts when they read.

Jason: Shut up, Leo, you'll blow it!

Annabeth: Okay readers, you guessed it: Today is August 18. Percy Jackson's Birthday!

Leo: *quietly* yaay

Jason: shut it, Leo!

Annabeth: Today Percy is turning eighteen!(I think)

Leo: yaay- sorry.

Annabeth: We set up a surprise party for him, and I guess you were invited. Alex invited everybody, actually.

Alex: *wink* ;)

Annabeth: This ultimetly turned into a chapter for "Ask The Demigods", however that works. We already got the decorations down, and Hazel and Piper managed to bake a blue cake.

Piper: Percy doesn't suspect a thing!

Frank: I doubt he even knows its his birthday.

Annabeth: Percy thinks he's coming down for a quick meeting with crew. We need to be really quiet, guys!

Hazel: I hear footsteps! He's coming! Everybody hide!

Frank and Hazel: *hide under tablecloth*

Piper: *hides behind couch* *pulls Jason in with her*

Leo: *hides behind curtain* *lol*

Annabeth: *hides behind door where Percy is about to come in* 

You: *nowhere to hide*

Piper: *pulls you in next to Jason behind couch*

*silence*

Percy: *stepping through door* Hey, why are the lights off? Where is everyone-

Everyone: SURPRISE!

Annabeth: *kisses Percy on cheek* Happy Birthday, Percy!

Percy: Woah! What- how- what just happened?

Leo: Your BIRTHDAY, dude! You're eighteen!

Percy: I- I am?

Annabeth: Yup! <3

Piper: We baked you a cake!

Hazel: Annabeth told us you like your food blue *shows off cake*

Percy: *staring at cake* woooooooah

Frank: Well? What do you have to say?

Everyone: *lean in to listen*

Percy: .............

Percy: .............

Percy: I really like blue cake.

Annabeth: *laughs* You're such a seaweed brain, Percy! 

Percy: :) Thanks guys, this is great. I didn't even think about my birthday, and here you are throwing a party! Thanks everyone (even you)

Everyone: :D

Leo: CAKE TIME

Everyone: YAAY

Percy: Birthday boy gets first slice! *jumps over leo*

Nico: *facepalm*

Annabeth: *slices cake* *hands plate to Percy* Here you go, Seaweed Brain

Percy: om nom :3

Leo: *pouring jumbo size bag of skittles in mouth without chewing* *swallows them whole* *perfectly fine*

Piper: *munching on cake* this is a great party!

Frank: *takes half the cake* This cake is awesome, Hazel!

Hazel: :)

Leo: *new bag of skittles*

Jason: Thanks for throwing such a great party on such short notice, Annabeth!

Annabeth: It was nothing. I just wanted to surprise Percy. <3

Percy: You sure did. *on second slice of cake*

Hazel: You know we have a movie planned, too.

Percy: Really? Which one?

Frank: We knew it was your favorite. Nico filled us in.

Percy: My favorite?

Nico: Dude, you've made me watch that movie a million times!

Percy: What is it?

Nico: Finding Nemo, duh

Percy: *throws plate in air* OMFG I WOVE FINDING NEMO *hugs nico* THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

Leo: Oh, its going to be a long night, i can tell.

Piper: It is Percy's birthday, though.

Annabeth: Yup. Happy eighteenth birthday, Seaweed Brain!

Everybody: *claps* YAAAY

Percy: *laughing* Haha! Thanks for throwing me such an awesome party!! You guys rock! And thanks to the reader for coming to the party too! You're all awesome!!

You: *silently cheering inside head* 

Percy: *runs upstairs to movie room* Lets gooooo
