(For Sherlock) What happens when you put John's phone in the microwave?

Since this question is for me (and since John is currently busy cleaning up the fire extinguisher foam), I have taken it upon myself to answer.

I assume you mean 'put it in the microwave and turn it on'. (It's rather uninteresting to watch the phone just sit there.) 

The timer was set for three minutes; the phone caught on fire at around 2:24, and John walked in at about 2:19. He shouted something rude and rather obscene at me when he saw the flames, immediately grabbed the fire extinguisher, and sprayed it everywhere. 

Conclusion: You get a coarse, destructive, and very angry Watson.
