Ok so Paps is going to try using DT on the hybrid to do... something, maybe make monsters stronger, but anyways he stole the blueprints from his bro and is tricked 2, 6 and 8 to steal MTT's diary so if the others find out he has blackmail. I think he kidnapped Ben for life energy(???). If his experiments fail, history will repeat itself but way worse and if he does it correctly, whatever that greater good is will become reality. Paps is also 1 and, of course, Ross.

Papyrus: Almost. I'm not trying to make monsters stronger — last time someone attempted that, it was disastrous. Instead, I'm trying to make human-monster hybrids, with the appearance and strength of a human but the ability to absorb human souls. With the combined strength of their hybrid soul, the six human souls, and their monster-like magic, they should be able to shatter the barrier.
Ben: (asleep in a containment tube, like the ones from Handplates)
Papyrus: Ben's soul trait — kindness — would be the mist useful one for a power source, because the hybrids will have a higher chance of being peaceful and not violent.

I think I know that you're doing this to break the barrier, but it's not worth possibly losing you! Heck, the surface isn't even that great, humans are nasty, nasty, creatures.
You need to tell them, they can help! Why don't you want them to know this side of you anyway ? If anything, it would make them respect you even more.

Papyrus: Humans have to be good. Why else would monsters want to make peace with them so much? And I prioritize the monster kingdom's freedom over my own life. I want my friends to be happy on the surface with or without me.

Papyrus: I don't intend on resetting. I just want the barrier to break. Every time me and my family go to see it, Sans looks so sad... and Dad blames himself for not being able to go through with his original plans, back when we were just babybones. It's one of the only times I've ever seen him cry. I hate seeing them like that, I just want them to be happy...
Papyrus: Me, Dad, and Sans all go to the Ruins every once in a while. Back where Frisk first fell. All we do, is just talk about what we'll do when we get to the surface. We all want to do a lot of things, but the thing all three of us want to do the most... is see real stars. Not just the rocks we have on the ceiling. They're still pretty, but I want to see the looks on their faces when they see stars on the surface.

And... I get what you're saying but... don't you think it might be helpful to have more people helping you with what you want to do? Won't it decrease the chance in something bad happening? I just don't want you to get hurt, or worse, end up not existing like your father did for awhile.
I know you're capable and smart, I'm not doubting you, but...
If something bad happens to you... I think that the others, especially your famoly, would rather have had their views change on you than have you end up dead, or worse.

Papyrus: They don't need me to be happy. I'd rather go out being seen as I am than live with them knowing everything I'm doing. I'm going to have to force myself to go against my pacifistic morals in order to make this plan work, and I don't want them to know that I'll gladly do that to get to my goal. I would do anything just to see my friends smile as they got to the surface.
