Virgil: I grab headphones, put my favourite playlist on, full blast, make sure no one bothers me, take breathing exercises, 7 seconds in, 8 seconds out. I do that for about 30 seconds, then I just relax. Usually on a soft blanket, leaning againt a pillow in the corner. Also being in somewhat darkness helps. For me anyways. Not total darkness though. Try writing how you feel.

Patton: Hold the child in your lap, stomach to stomach, and rub it's back for a little while. Make sure there are no loud distractions near by. Optional, sing them a song. Not to graphic. Maybe a song from Taylor Swift.
Virgil: The old Taylor Swift.
Roman: Something hot for the throat helps. Like hot tea or coffee. Make sure your throat is completely cleared. Try a few low note to high note, and vise versa. Then try singing a song with both high and low notes, like a Twenty Øne Pilots song.
