Freddy: *stands up and stares at the babies for a few seconds, thinking they're probably fine, and walks over to the koala* To answer the second question— I was adopted when I was two, my—

K.C.: *fakes a cough and raises her eyebrows teasingly* Freddy, please take this seriously

Freddy: *pouts then shakes his head* You all already know that, though... *scratches his head as he looks around* Didn't I say some chapters ago that I do live with my homophobic Ina and my too-passive-for-fuck's-sake 'Tay?

Freddy: *grumbles under his breath as he looks down at the ground* Though I think I would've been better off if they were dead—

Pip: *furrows his eyebrows as he looks at the Fly Pad and tries to concentrate on it, tensing up* Don't fucking say that. Don't. Just don't.

Freddy: *shouts over at the penguin* You're lucky you know!

Pip: *starts to blink away tears as he abruptly stands up and walks out of the nursery* Fuck you, Freddy! *sends him one last look before he leaves* Asshole!

Freddy: *furrows his eyebrows as he looks at the koala* You're also lucky!

K.C.: *crosses her arms* You don't have to bring me into this just because I have a full functional family! *looks at her Fly Pad as she tears up a little bit* Let's just get to the next question...

Freddy: Fine. *passive-aggressively sends a side-glare to the koala* You all probably already know my age as well! Didn't I say this more than once before? *shakes his head* I'm twelve. Why does anyone want to know anyway?

Freddy: *huffs softly* What's the deal with this? Do you all want to stalk me or something? Because this is very concerning

K.C.: *crosses her arms tiredly* Freddy, this is an Ask or Dare book for goodness sake. Please just go outside and try to calm down. I'll just answer the last question

Freddy: Fine *stomps out of the nursery*

K.C.: *sighs as she sits down with the Fly Pad in her paws* Why are family questions always like this... *shakes her head* I don't think it's even that polite to just go ahead and ask if someone has parents or not

K.C.: *takes a deep breath as she looks at the Fly Pad* So— Yes, foster care is a thing *tries to answer calmly* There's a whole 'nother organization for that, and they take in children when the parents can't afford to take care of their child, and I think that's quite sensible, though that is a very controversial topic, so we'll see...

K.C.: We usually encourage parents to check at the previous organization first before asking for babies from T.O.T.S. *smiles* The unadopted kids should always be first priority for me, and I think it's pretty neat how it's the top priority for them as well

K.C.: Right now no kids are unadopted, and when some parent drops of a child, they're adopted quickly, to be honest *smiles* I'm quite glad no one's living parentless at the moment. I hope it could be that way everyday
