Wedge's confession
A/N: all of the following is from the events of the last ask: "Asks for Sparked!Medix"
Wedge: alright... let's hear it.
A/N: this is not backlash for those who have been tagged. This is actually for plot development. Thank you to all who is tagged.
Wedge: *sighs* I deserve every bit of this. It was not in any right for me to do this to them.
Wedge: I went too far and I noticed that way too late.
Wedge: I just get so sick and tired of them being so mushy with each other.
Wedge: but now I realize that's just who they are and they aren't going to change it.
Wedge: I intentionally wanted this prank to be a wake-up call for them. A wake-up call that made them realize that they can go too far in their relationship.
Wedge: but as soon as I heard them say that they wanted to keep the sparkling...
Wedge: I knew I fucked up.
Wedge: Bad.
Wedge: and for those who are defending me... don't.
Wedge: their "punishments" that they do to me pale in comparison to what I do to them off camera.
Wedge: plus I was over exaggerating on the whole concussion thing. Turns out it was just some helm trauma. Nothing too serious.
Wedge: Medix was the one who initially cared for me after the punishment because he's still our medic.
Wedge: he apologized excessively after he bandaged me up but made sure I knew that he was still pissed about me sending the tapes to everyone (Dare #49).
Wedge: I didn't blame him but I also told him the other reason why I did it.
Wedge: *chuckles softly* I told him that the other reason why was so that they could be more careful.
Wedge: I may not like their relationship... but dammit they're still my friends and valued teammates.
Wedge: in all truthfulness, I hope they have a future together. They're a wonderful couple.
Wedge: *under his breath* when they're not annoying me.
Wedge: *clears throat* but I hope my confession doesn't ruin anything in our friendship and in their relationship.
Wedge: and I also hope to continue with these asks or dares. They're actually pretty fun and memorable when they count.
Wedge: but don't quote me on that.
Wedge: . . . . .
Wedge: *sighs* guess it's time for me to go and tell them the truth.
Wedge: *gets up slowly and makes his way into the break room*
Wedge: *stops when he sees Medshot cuddling with each other lovingly on the couch as Whirst keeps asking them millions of questions*
Medix: Hotshot said he would do everything he can to keep me up to date on what's been going on while I'm on leave.
Hoist: that's great!
Hotshot: and then we'll take care of the sparkling during our down time and at night. We still want to be there for them and for them to see us as their parents.
Whirl: awwww!!!! This is all so exciting! Will they also be with you when we take our graduation photo??
Medshot: that's the plan!
Whirst: we can't wait!!!!
Wedge: *walking in* unfortunately, that's all not gonna happen...
Whirst: huh???
Hotshot: *immediately protects Medix* what do you mean.
Wedge: relax. I'm not gonna hurt anyone *sits down on the couch next to Medshot* it's time I finally come clean about this...
*a few minutes later*
Medix: *tears falling as Hotshot scans him with a real scanner* i-is it t-true....?
Hotshot: *sadly sets the scanner down and hugs him* yes... we're not having a sparkling...
Medix: *sobs into him*
Hoist: how did you do it Wedge. How did you make them believe that they made something wonderful together only to find out it was fake.
Wedge: I replaced a few real scanners with the fake ones. Even the ultrasound I was able to replace with the fake one we used to prank Hotshot (Dare #35!)
Whirl: so what about the morning sickness and the mood swings?
Wedge: I... popped some pills in his energon at night that would make you purge up everything in the morning-
Whirst: YOU DRUGGED HIM?!
Hotshot: YOU DID WHAT-
Wedge: yes. And I regret it fully...
Wedge: *looks over at Medshot* Hotshot? Medix?
Hotshot: *immediately growls at him as he holds Medix protectively*
Wedge: *puts servos up in peace* I know I've burned some if not all bridges, and I know that no apology could ever make up for this.....
Wedge: *takes a deep breath and lets it out to release tension*
Wedge: ...but if there is anything I can do to earn both of your trust back... I'll do it. I've realized how incredibly stupid this was and I now know how this could really put a dent in our friendship... but I'm willing to do anything to make things right again. If that means recieving a punishment much worse than the ones I've had before... I'll take it. I'll take it a million times over just to earn back your trust...
Medix: *wipes away his tears and gently pushes away Hotshot so he can stand up*
Wedge: *kinda frightened but remains in his seat* Medix-
Medix: *sits down next to Wedge and grips his arms tightly, staring down at him with a serious look in his optics*
Wedge: *doesn't move at all*
Medix: *keeps staring at him with this serious face*
Medix: *keeps the serious face on for about another 15 seconds*
Medix: *finally breaks his face and bursts out laughing*
Hotshot&Whirst: *also bursting out laughing*
Wedge: *completely taken off guard as everyone keeps laughing* w- what's so funny???
Medix: *in between laughs* did you honestly think we would fall for this?
Hotshot: *while laughing* dude we knew you were messing with us from the beginning.
Wedge: but... but how????
Medix: *as he coolly leans back into Hotshot as he faces Wedge* Hotshot and I didn't even bond!
Hotshot: yeah bro we're not that stupid. I mean heck you can go back to the sex tape and you can see that no spark chambers were open. At all!
Wedge: *holy shit* so wait.... you two aren't bonded????
Medix: nope! We were just playing along until you finally came forward.
Wedge: but... how did you all figure out that I was pranking you???
Whirl: well I was the one who actually saw you slip those pills into Medix's energon.
Hoist: and I was the one who saw you switch some of the real scanners with fake ones.
Blades: *coming around the corner* and I was the one who figured it out.
Wedge: Professor Blades?????? You were in on this too????
Blades: well duh *goes over and hugs Medshot* I'd do anything to help these two out. Plus, this all could've put my license on the line so it was best for me to encourage you to apologize to them.
Wedge: so wait... Hotshot, you tripped Blades as an act???
Hotshot: yep!
Wedge: *looks at Whirst* and you two were in on this as well???
Whirst: yep!
Wedge: is there anyone else who knew about this???
Heatwave: *appearing in the doorway with the rest of the team* everybody and their mother.
Wedge: wow.... this has got to be my worst prank ever.
Everyone: yep!
Hotshot: but you know what the best part is?
Wedge: what- OOF!
Recruits: *all pile onto Wedge* YOU. GOT. PRANKED. BITCH.
Recruits: *all wrestling each other as they burst out laughing*
*after a while and all the adults have left*
Recruits: *group hug*
Wedge: thanks for not killing me. I'm still so sorry about everything that I did. Even though you all knew what I was doing... it was still wrong.
Hotshot: hey it's all good buddy.
Medix: no one got hurt and that's all that matters.
Wedge: *smiles* thanks guys *goes for fist bump* friends forever?
Recruits:
Hotshot: no matter what.
Whirl: even with all the crazy asks and dares.
Hoist: we'll still be friends.
Medix: and we're still a team.
Wedge: till the very end.
Recruits: *another group hug!!!!*
Wedge: let's make a pact team. In the future, let's make sure to think twice before we do something stupid.
Recruits: agreed! *shares one last hug and then all of them let go*
Medix: are we all good now? *nods all around* great *turns to Wedge* Wedge, where are those pills you snuck in my energon?
Hotshot: babe. Why in the world would you need them.
Medix: despite the side effects, they worked out great! I've lost so much weight! I mean look! Even my hips look better!
Hotshot: *facepalms as everyone else bursts out laughing* oh Primus...
A/N: everything is all good now guys!!!!! The recruits still love each other and will continue being the best of friends no matter what! So now.... let's get back to some random asks and dares!!!!❤
