When Hazel saw Percy standing at the river, using the water to crush the gorgons and save Frank. There was no other way to say this but she thought he was "hot".

Throughout the whole quest, she felt more and more attracted to Percy. Her mind kept wandering to that raven-haired, green-eyed son of Poseidon. And his lips, oh how she wanted to kiss those red lips of his. When she saw that he fought those shades on the glacier in Alaska, and when he fell off the cliff, her heart almost stopped. When she found out he was safe, she wanted to slap him for scaring her, then kiss him senseless. When he fought the Giant at Camp Jupiter, she feared for him. Later when after the celebration, she found him sitting on his bunk in the barracks, wearing his praetor cape with made her fall him harder.

"Percy?" She asked. He hummed a response. "I was wondering, do you like anyone?" She asked. He hesitated. Then nodded. "Yes." Her heart felt like it was breaking and tears sprang to her eyes. But she blinked them away and continued. "Who is she? May I know?" Hazel asked. Percy hesitated even more. "Yes. She has dark skin, and she is one of the most adorable girl ever." Hazel felt herself breaking down. "What parent does she have." Percy smirked. "Pluto." He answered. "You don't mean..." Hazel got cut off by Percy as he kissed her fiercely. Hazel responded by bringing her arms around Percy. They had to break apart for air and Percy pressed his forehead to Hazel's. "So it's me?" She asked in a quiet voice. Percy pressed his lips to hers and they found their tongues battling it out as Hazel's hands ran through Percy's black hair. As they kissed harder, Hazel realized...
