*like most OC's, Melody was bullied for being inhumanly smart. As we found out, Melody is a robot and was programmed to break the barrier in UnderTale. When she left UnderTale to find Gaster, she was taken to the surface of EchoTale. She was put in an orphanage and went to school as a normal 10 year old girl. With her being a robot, she's super smart and everyone picked on her. One day she went up to Mt. Ebott to calm down after being bullied and she heard a voice telling her to jump. She shrugged thinking what do I have to live for anyways? and she jumped*
