Okay so I was thinking because hey I don't want Marco to be dead either.

I don't think he's dead I also support that he is a titan shifter. Idk when Marco dies in the manga but (anyone who does please comment but anyway) unless Isayama is just being a total a$$ he has left Marco's CROSSED OUT PICTURE in every freaking volume since he died so far (*dying*) why the F*ck would he do that? I talked with my friend and told her what I thought. Wasn't his body in the street for a few days before they found it? Yeah. Was he in bad shape? Yep. But. At first I thought it might be that he couldn't regenerate his right side because when Eren first transforms his left limbs are bitten off. Then every time to transform after that he bites his left hand and in the picture Marco looks like he's about to do the same. But then I was like nah maybe not.

So....I started thinking more.

Remember in the forest when Annie was blinded? What did she do? She concentrated all her healing power into one eye so it would regenerate faster. What if titan shifters can also do the Opposite? And that was proven when Reiner was bitten at Utgard Castle he stopped the Titan bite from healing until he exposed himself to Eren. So now we know they Can control what does and doesn't regenerate AND we never see Marco's body after that what if he pretended to be dead to throw everyone off his trail then when he got the chance when no one was around he let his body heal and went into hiding? Maybe Marco is actually a bad guy? Maybe he isn't. That I don't know I really hope if he makes some glorious return it isn't on the other side of this fight because then I would definitely start crying.

Buuut anyway there you go my little piece of attempting to keep him alive
