That is a difficult question to answer. As a I've mentioned earlier, my brother has always been more of a writer than myself. I have memories, some vague and others more vivid, of some of his early works when I was around ten years old. It inspired me to start writing, but at ten years old I was never any good. I dabbled every now and then, the exact subjects and time have been lost within my memories though.

I can confidently say though, that between the ages of 11 to 17 I did no writing, other than that which was required for school or in pursue of my martial arts career. It wasn't until high school that I was first exposed to fanfiction. I had always seen it as kind of taboo, but after the regeneration of the 11th Doctor, I needed a way to fill my Whoufflr craving. Around my senior year I began writing my own fanfiction, but it was lost when my flash drive was corrupted. I then picked up on writing REBY fanfiction because the underdeveloped characters in the show (no offense to Rooster Teeth) allowed me to be flexible with the story and create and develop them in a way that would suit the story. It provided me with a template I could use to write without having to do all the world building myself. My first RWBY fanfiction, the Male Reader x Yang Xiao Long Volume 1, I began in July of 2018. I decided to follow the events of the show because I felt I was not yet experienced enough to create my own narrative. Even later stories such as Brother of the Beast I felt we're lacking. Through more practice though, I think I've found a style that works for me, and I've definitely cleaned up on grammatical and mechanical errors. I've also become more experienced in creating my own engaging plot lines, and am currently mapping out an original story.
