My boyfriend likes it. I don't.
Some people think you have an accent and some people don't, could you clarify that?
Oh, boy.
I do have an accent- and I don't.
I grew up in North Carolina, and have a very thick Southern accent.
When I came to camp, I didn't want to stand out, so I changed to a neutral/New York accent. Part of the reason I switched was because my real accent reminded me of home- and Genevieve.
Genevieve is my mother, for those of you who don't know. She's a...terrible person.
Sometimes, my accent comes through (especially in the mornings), and it's really frustrating. There are still some words I can't quite get.
'Accent', 'out', any form of 'there', and 'babe' are prime examples.
I have trouble saying my own name sometimes.
"Hi, my name's Whale."
