10/ Stressed
I have these really big exams coming up soon and I'm so stressed about them because I feel so underprepared for them. I have no motivation though to revise. To make matters worse, my friends are arguing and I'm sort of caught in the middle. This stress is having a massive impact on my physical and mental health and I don't know what to do.
Ok, first thing- breathe. Whenever you feel like you're being overwhelmed by emotions, just take a few deep breaths and you'll feel yourself coming back to your normal senses. So, exams are notoriously stressful for most people; remember you aren't alone and that you can ask your teachers for help whenever you feel stuck or worried about something.
Try and do small bits of revision everyday so it doesn't feel like such a chore, and this will make the time go by quicker. Watch informative YouTube videos, use colour and draw pictures- make revision fun and productive as that way you will be more motivated.
As for your friends arguing, remember to put yourself first. Your health is more important than anything else, so if things are getting too stressful remove yourself from the situation. You aren't being selfish, or a bad friend- you're looking out for yourself.
