"Virginia why are you for slavery?"

Virginia: Hm... What an interesting question... Well as you know, back down in the south during the civil war, there were a lot of plantations and such. And there still are. But we needed workers for those plantations, and the slaves were those workers. We didn't have to pay them or give them much at all, we just forced them to do their work and they did.
And since the plantations were so huge, farmers couldn't care for all that themselves so they bought slaves. I didn't want to have to loose all of these workers, who we didn't even have to pay to do their job.
We needs workers for these plantations, and the slaves provided that.
I'm not for slavery now, but that is why I was. We needed the work, and there was no point to change what we knew.
