Q4: What Shows I would Put in a Disney Channel and Nickelodeon Crossover Book
RyanSmith020 : If you wanted to do a Disney Channel and Nickelodeon crossover book, what shows will you write about?
Creativity77: That's a good question! I was always more of a Nickelodeon kid, but I do love Disney Channel just as much! I don't watch tv as much as I used to. I only watch it when new episodes of The Thundermans, The Haunted Hathaways, and Henry Danger just in case anything interesting happens or is mentioned that I would like to mention in any of my books. I also watch it when I get out of the shower for about ten minutes and if something that I don't like comes on Nick, I'll immediately change the change the channel to Disney. As of right now, the shows that I watch the most on Disney Channel are Girl Meets World, Liv and Maddie, Dog With a Blog, and Jessie. However, Jessie has been on Disney Channel since 2011 and that was the year I didn't watch Disney Channel that much because I liked all of the shows that were currently playing on Nickelodeon at the time, so I probably missed out on lots of huge events that happened within that show and if I were to put them in any book, I would want to mention them. Today, the only running shows on Nick that I like are The Thundermans, The Haunted Hathaways, Henry Danger, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, & Dawn, SpongeBob, and the Fairly OddParents (I know that those last two are really for younger kids, but I've been watching them for as long as I can remember and I really like them. But, I like their older episodes better. Also, I know that most of my grade in my school still watch SpongeBob if I hear some of them reference it out loud and if my best friends still bring it up every once in awhile. I'm not too sure if any of them still watch the Fairly OddParents, but I know that some of my best friends used to.) Also, when I used to watch Disney Channel a lot more often when I was younger because on some days, both of my parents used to work and since my dad is one of the owners of my family's business, he is allowed to take me into work anytime that he wants, when my mom can't because she used to work at another business. So, whenever I went into work with my dad, he would let me stay in this room with a really old tv and one day, the remote got lost and when I would try to change it to Nickelodeon by pressing the buttons on the tv, it would only let me watch the channels with even numbers and where I live, Disney Channel and Nickelodeon are right next to each other and Disney Channel's channel number is an even number, when Nickelodeon's channel number is an odd one. So, whenever I went over there I would watch Disney Channel. But, by the time that Jessie came on Disney, my mom quit her job because my dad's job paid him enough money and she wanted to spend some time with me, so I stopped going to work with my dad and started to watch Nick more.
So, since Girl Meets World, Dog With a Blog, and Liv and Maddie are newer shows and when Dog With a Blog came out, I started to watch Disney Channel more often because that's what my friends were into and that's when their shows started to get funnier, those are some shows that I would write about in a Disney Channel crossover book. Also, I know all of the main characters of all of these shows and their personalities and they are some of my favorite Disney shows. I really like Dog With a Blog because I love animals, I think that some of the characters, mostly Tyler, Stan, and Chloe, are really funny, and I like the idea of a talking dog who writes his own blog. I really like Liv and Maddie because I think that their two brothers, Parker and Joey are really funny, I like the twin relationship between Liv and Maddie, and I like the theme song, Better in Stereo. Liv and Maddie's relationship is kind of similar to Phoebe and Max Thunderman's relationship. I even remember that I had a dream once where i added Liv and Maddie into Sam & Cat & the Haunted Thundermans! Even though I've never watched Boy Meets World, I really like it's sequel series, Girl Meets World, because I think that Maya and Farkle(if that's how you spell it) are funny, I like the best friend relationship between Maya and Riley, I think that it gives of REALLY positive messages, it kind of reminds me of iCarly, which is a show that I love, and I REALLY love the Girl Meets World theme song, Take On the World. (Better in Stereo and Take On the World are actually some of my favorite songs. I'm a music lover, as you can see!) But, if I were to watch a couple more episodes of Jessie, I could probably write a book a book about it, but right now I'm going to stick to watching The Thundermans, The Haunted Hathaways, and Henry Danger because the only book that I want to focus on writing right now is the fifth book for Sam & Cat & the Haunted Thundermans. I also want to focus on answering anymore questions that you guys might have for me in this book! I could possibly also add the Wizards of Waverly Place in there because that used to be my favorite Disney Channel show when it was on. I could also possibly do I Didn't Do It because I've watched that a few times, but it's not one of my favorite shows. I could also possibly do Good Luck Charlie because I really like that show and I know all of the main characters and their personalities. I wouldn't do any of their other shows because I either don't watch them that much, haven't watched them in awhile, or don't like them.
For Nickelodeon, I would put iCarly, Drake and Josh, Victorious, The Thundermans, Henry Danger, The Haunted Hathaways, and Sam & Cat. I love iCarly because I think that all of the characters are hilarious, I love the plot, and I like the relationship that all of the characters have with one another. I love Drake and Josh because I think that Drake, Josh, and Megan are hilarious, I like how Megan pranks Drake and Josh, and I love the relationship between Drake and Josh. I like Victorious because I think that all of the characters are talented and funny and because I like the plot. I love the Thundermans because I like tv shows and movies that have special effects, I like the idea of a family of superheroes, I think that all of the Thunderman's powers are cool, especially thundersense, I really love the relationship between Phoebe and Max and Nora and Billy, and I like its theme song, Livin' a Double Life (I really wish that they would make a full version or an extended version of it!) I like Henry Danger because I think that it's funny, I really love all of the cool gadgets that are used in the show, and I like the plot. I love the Haunted Hathaways because I like the idea of a bunch of humans living with a bunch of ghosts, I like the special effects, I think that it's funny, I like the relationships that all of the characters have with one another, and I like The Haunted Hathaways theme song. I love Sam & Cat because I love the idea of a spinoff crossover series, I think that Sam is funny, I like how Sam shows her soft side for Cat, and I like how a twelve-year-old boy, Dice, is able to be a manager for a MMA fighter, Goomer. I might also put Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, & Dawn in there too because I like that show, it's just not one of my favorites, but it might eventually become one.
I know this is sort of irrelevant to what you asked me, but I've actually been thinking that once The Thundermans, Henry Danger, and The Haunted Hathaways end, I'm going to stop watching Nickelodeon and either start just watching Disney Channel or one of those channels with a lot of comedy shows. But, I'll most likely start to watch Disney more often because Nickelodeon takes about two years just to air one season of SpongeBob and the Fairly OddParents, and Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, & Dawn isn't one of my current favorite shows, I only like six Nick shows, yet they are currently airing seventeen, if you don't include any of their Nick Jr. shows or their shows that only air on Nicktoons, so there will be almost nothing left for me to watch on Nickelodeon when The Thundermans, Henry Danger, and The Haunted Hathaways end, and I like the majority of Disney Channel's shows, I don't like any of the reality shows that my friends watch, and I'd much rather watch one of Disney Channel's sitcoms over another channel's comedy show. So, you never know, RyanSmith020 ! You might actually see me write a Disney Channel crossover book with Girl Meets World, Dog With a Blog, Liv and Maddie, Drake and Josh, iCarly, Victorious, Sam & Cat, Henry Danger, The Thundermans, and The Haunted Hathaways and possibly the Wizards of Waverly Place, I Didn't Do It, Jessie, Good Luck Charlie, and possibly Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, & Dawn one day! But until then, stay tuned to find out the release date of Book V Part I! Feel free to ask me anymore questions that you might have!
P.S. Sorry for the really long answer! I just wanted to give you a good explanation to why I chose those shows!
