Q12: What Do You Want To Become In the Future?
RyanSmith020 : What do you want to be in the future?
Creativity77: Something that has to do with writing of course! When I was little, I wanted to be something that has to do something with animals, but ever since I started watching Sam & Cat, The Haunted Hathaways, and The Thundermans, I have really proven to myself that I can really write a good book! When I was little, I would write stories with my mom. Since her handwriting was much neater than mine, I would tell her what to write right out of my imagination. I would also draw the pictures. So basically, it was all of my original work but my mom just helped me out by making my stories look neater(my handwriting was always neat for my age, but since I was so young, my mom's handwriting was so much neater compared to mine. Today, we're probably around the same. We just have different writing styles). Eventually, when I was around seven or eight years old, I started to write my stories by myself because my handwriting had improved by a lot.
"I think that you're going to be a children's author when you grow up," my mom would sometimes would tell me.
For the longest time ever, I thought that she was wrong because back then, I was a dog expert! In fact, I knew more about dogs back then than I know about them today. I wanted to work at a Pet Store or become a vet. But ever since I became a fan of Sam & Cat, The Haunted Hathaways, and The Thundermans and wrote a book series about them, I realized that my mom was right. I might not become a children's author, but I am definitely going to become something that has to do with me writing. Just recently, I asked my mom how she knew that I was going to end up wanting to become a writer.
"I didn't," she replied, "You just recently showed us that with Sam & Cat & the Haunted Thundermans!" (Yes, my parents know about the books that I write and how they're on Wattpad.)
"But when I was little, you told me that you thought that I was going to become a children's author, and yet, I told you that I wanted to do something that involved with animals!" I told her.
"Well that's because when we would write stories together and I would get tired and suggest to do something else, you would say, 'no, I want to keep on writing!'."
And that's when I realized that I should become a writer. Whether I write movies, plays, tv shows, or books, I want to be a writer. I could even still live out the dream that I had when I was little and write about animals! I mean, it's my purpose in life! Not once have I experienced writer's block and I have written dozens of stories so far and I am only so young! I have probably written more than most of my classmates in my school will ever write in their whole entire life and we are all far from graduating it! I have also probably written more than anybody in my family ever will or has ever written and I am the youngest member! Also, writing excites me! (As long as I don't have to write essays for school! That's when it starts to bore me!) I might of gotten bored of some stories that I have written in the past and stopped writing them, but while I was writing the previous books in the Sam & Cat & the Haunted Thundermans series, I taught myself that if I ever get bored of writing, just to take a short break from it. While I take short breaks, I always end up finding myself thinking of what I can add into my books. Usually, my ideas will get me all excited and make me want to write again!
Thanks for asking that, RyanSmith020 because it was a really good question! Well, keep on asking away!
