"Because I didn't necessarily feel a need to. Sakura and my feelings are connected, and I trusted her that she could smooth things over with Sarada. I guess it didn't go as planned, huh? That's an error on my part. Overall, it's only because the things I want to tell Sakura and Sarada just can't be described with words. Sakura and I agreed it would be okay to not write to them because she knew that I would always think of them anyways, and they would always think of me.
