Hornet's POV~

I don't know what to do. I finally find out that this thing I found is an egg, but I don't know what to do. Maybe I'll ask master later. Anyway, I'm bored, but I got to keep this egg warm. I'm not cut out for this. Maybe one of the girls should do it. It'd be better than having a guy do it. Yeah, now let's see. Dread would go through it, so that's a no. Celeste would play with it. Grace would freeze it to death. Come on... DAWN! She'd be perfect for the job. She's smart and responsible. She's really nice too. I'll ask her to do it. Someone needs to watch out for both of them though. Probably Dusk. He's responsible like Dawn is. That should be good. I'll go ask them now.

Dawn's POV~

I was laying down in the sun, minding my own business as always. Right now, I'm on comment patrol. Seeing if anyone asks or dares something. A few minutes later... "Dawn, can you take care of this egg?" My eyes widen faster than sound as I shout "HOW LONG HAVE YOU HAD AN EGG?!?!" Hornet says calmly "I found it awhile back. Master asked me to take care of it." I nod and ask "Why can't you keep protecting it?" He then starts pleading saying "PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DAWN?! I'm a guy, I'm not cut out for this. It's driving me insane!" I chuckle and say "Fine. Just leave it to me." He hugs me and says "THANK YOU!!! Also, I'm having Dusk help out. All of us are going out for food. We're leaving Dusk in charge of the eggs and your protection. Your in charge of keeping the egg safe and warm. You can do that?" I smile widely and say "Yes sir." He then leaves and Dusk comes in while we watch everyone leave.

Dusk's POV~

Breaking the awkward silence between us I say "Hi." She looks at me and says "Hi." I blush and look away. She falls asleep while keeping the egg warm. Deciding to do my job I watch out for whatever dares to come and take the egg away. After a few hours, I slowly let my eyes drift down and close.

3rd person POV~

After they both fall asleep, a wild pelipper comes in and takes the egg. They both wake up right away and start to chase down the pelipper. Dusk climbs a tree and lands on the wild pelipper. He uses Crunch on its wing and it let's go of the egg. Using Psychic, Dawn takes the egg back in her grasp, but falls down a hill. Dusk goes down the hill with worry on his face. He reaches the bottom of the hill and shouts "ARE YOU OKAY?!?!" She gets up and says "Nevermind me, is the egg okay?!" He walks over and looks at the egg all around and says "Yeah, it's fine." the egg all of a sudden cracks, making them widen their eyes. The egg hatches completely, showing a Eevee with a nice shade of brown. The newly hatched Eevee looks at them and says "Oka-san? Otou-san?" Dusk and Dawn look at each other blushing. Dawn asks "You u-understand Japanese too, right?" he nods still blushing. The Eevee says again "Oka-san. Otou-san." Dawn says "M-MOTHER?!" and Dusk says "F-FATHER!?" The Eevee gets out of what used to be an egg's remains and cuddles into both of them. They stare at each other and smile, still blushing. Dusk says "Y-you know. I've liked you for awhile." She smiles and says "And I wouldn't mind d-dating you." The Eevee smiles at them before falling asleep between them. Dawn says "Well, at this point we don't really have a choice, do we?" Dusk blushes while smiling and shakes his head. Dawn then says "I-I love you, Dusk." he smiles and says "I love you too, Dawn." The bring their heads close together, until their lips connect. After a bit, they separate and carry their new child home.
