The wind howled as the rain poured intensely. Violet and Sonic stared out the window with wide eyes as a tree was struck by lighting.

"Why Meg? Why?" Violet said out loud.

"Hey, it always goes away!" Sonic said.

"Yeah but...what if it doesn't this time?" Violet protested.

Sonic shivered,"I don't even wanna think about it..."

The two looked out the window again, watching the hurricane unfold. It was only the beginning of the...non-natural disaster, more to come.

"This is unatural... Meg made it..." Violet said.

"Yeah, you're traumatized." Sonic said.

"I need something to eat...I'll be back..." Violet said.

She walked to the kitchen to find Sir Butler cooking some chicken wings.

"What are you making Sir Butler?" She asked.

"Chicken wings. Something different today." The ghost butler said.

Violet nodded and took a piece and bit it. She tasted it well, and then went to a cabinet. She took out a spice, added if and tasted it again.

"Much better." She said softly.

"You always know huh?" Sir Butler said.

"I guess it's just a part of me..." Violet said with a smirk.

"Definitely."

Violet turned around to see Sonic eating a piece. He smacked his lips.

"What should we do now? It's raining, we can't race..." Sonic said sadly.

"Oh ho! But no one said we can't race on the Wii U....RACE YA." Violet ran down the hall.

Sonic smirked and ran after her. The hallway was pretty long and huge. He the caught up to her, grabbed her hand and kept on running.

They both landed on the couch, Violet ending up sitting on the hedgehog's lap.

"You always find a way huh?" She smirked.

Sonic shrugged and turned on the Wii U. The character selection screen appeared.

"Hmm...." Sonic said.

He then looked at Violet. Who was staring at the screen, looking traumatized again.

"Violet? Are you...."

He looked at what she looked at. The turtle dragon. He then chose his character and chose Pink Gold Peach for her. The screen then went to cup selection.

"Violet, please...you're creeping me out." Sonic said.

Violet still stared at the screen. Sonic then held her chin, and kisses her softly.

"You'll be okay." Sonic said.

Violet nodded slightly. She then chose a cup level and the race began.

"I won...that's not regular. Are you okay Vi?" Sonic asked.

Violet's forehead was warm, her eyes looked tired.

"You're sick. Cmon..." Sonic said.

He carried her bridal style up to her room and placed her in bed. He then kissed her forehead.

"Love you Violet."
