After our failed training, we didn't do anything else in all morning, so I left to my room to think of what I could do to keep my ability in check, I came in blank, there was no possible way I could do this alone....

Everyone to the lounge, group meeting

I heard Charles in my head, I was getting used to him talk to me like that, I almost saw it normal, I shook my head and headed to the lounge where everyone was expecting me, I smiled sheepishly, my eyes glowing blue, I blinked and the glow left my eyes

"Sorry I'm late"

Moira, the agent was also here, she looked nervous about being in the same room as us, I tilted my head aside, curiously, I think I made her uncomfortable because someone cleared its throat, I looked at who did it, Charles.... I had to see it coming.

He looked at me and shook his head, I huffed and sat in the sofa where Sean was sited, he smirked at me amused and I stock my tongue at him, I looked back at Charles and Hank, who was next to Charles in the centre of the room. Hank was looking at his feet nervously, he was still shy, Charles had that look, the look he had when he was reading my mind, probably reading someone else, but seeing all the people in here, it could be anyone, I had no worries of him reading my mind, I mean, that's how he found me, right? There's no need to be afraid of a telepath

Except if he wants to destroy you, that's when you'll need to be afraid.

But this is Charles, so....

Speaking, I mean 'thinking' of the King of Rome, Charles clapped his hands together, catching everyone's attention, snapping me from my thoughts of him and how to control my abilities at the same time "Well, everyone, Hank and I have been talking about your training to suit your mutation needs. Sean, I will be training with you in about twenty minutes as Hank has come up with a brilliant idea." I smiled evilly at Sean next to me, somehow I knew Hank was going to make his training fun, so for nothing in the world I'll miss it

"Everyone else your training will begin tomorrow" he looked around at us smiling after sending my way an amused smile, See? This guy loves my mind, he chuckled and shook his head

Alex raised his hand. Charles seeing this, nodded at him to continue "What will we be doing whilst we're not training with you?"

Charles smiled again. Doesn't his cheeks get tired of too much smiling? Mine would, I need my grumpy times, too, I would think he does too. I thought to myself "Excellent question Alex and in the time you're not training with me, you'll be in the gym or studying"

I groaned "NOO!" I put my head in Sean's shoulder, I felt him chuckle and raised my head to see him. "why?" I raised my eyebrows to Charles who smiled and shook his head

"I told your parents this was a school, Kate. And you have to keep your studies, we don't want your parents get mad, do we?" he smiled at me and looked at Sean who stood, making me stood with him, Charles clapped his hands into Sean's shoulders and dragged him out of the lounge, probably to Hank's lab.

I smiled at everyone and left the lounge to explore the garden of the mansion.

I was walking back from the garden to the mansion, because Charles via-mind called us to meet him, Sean and Hank in one of the upstairs room, I grinned all the way up, knowing it was Sean's training we were going to watch.

I entered a bedroom, where all of them were standing, waiting for me I guess, I smiled brightly at Hank who was strapping Sean into a batwing type item, he looked nervous and when he saw me chuckling at him, putting my thumbs up, he groaned.

"Shut up " he told me pointing at me, I smiled innocently, Charles giving me disapproving looks shaking his head

"I didn't say anything" I shrugged innocently, he narrowed his eyes, I bit my lip to prevent myself of teasing him, but I couldn't resist "Aw, is just you make a pretty flying squirrel" I clapped my hands bating my eyelashes pouting my lips innocently, Sean scoffed and looked away smirking

"Kate, don't you tease" Charles told me chuckling, I shrugged

"I wasn't teasing" I smiled "I was trying to light the mood, I was trying to help one of my best friends not to be nervous about his training" Sean shook his head smiling a small smile

"Thank you, Ashni" he told me, I smiled brightly, noting he wasn't too nervous like a few minutes ago

"No problem Banshee"

Sean sat on the window sill on the left side of the room, whilst all of us except for Charles and Hank who were hanging out of the window on the other side to watch if Charles experiment would work. I stood next to Erik, as me being small, I didn't take to much space, so technically, Alex was squishing me to the corner of the window, my chin was in the window's smiling at Sean.

When Hank and Charles finished to explain to him what they were going to do I chuckled, literally they were going to push him out of the window and he had to scream as loud as possible to see if he could fly, as I was listening I couldn't stop to giggle lightly to myself, I had a feeling this wasn't going to work as they planned, but kept to myself to not put more nerves in Sean

Hank and Charles count to three before pushing him out of the window.

"One..."

"Two..."

"Three.."

They pushed him out of the window, as Sean dropped out of the window, he flapped his arms and let out a strangled cry before hitting the floor with a smack, I cringed at the sound and stood form my spot on the window to try and check if he was okay and i wasn't the only one.

Sean? Are you alright?" I questioned looking down at him, trying not laugh when he tried to stood.

He stood up and brushed himself off and pointed at me "Don't you laugh" he screamed narrowing his eyes

"I'm not laughing" I smiled chuckling, I looked at Alex "Am I laughing?" He smirked and nodded

Yep, you are, Sean she's laughing at your failure" he chuckled looking down at Sean, I smack his head with the back of my hand and shot him a glare

"Am not!" Raven and Charles laughed at me while I was looking at one of my best friends pleadingly

Sean scoffed and looked up, "okay, girly, I'm going to laugh at you when you fail too" he stamped on the floor and turned his back on me, leaving me slight guilty and amused, I turned back from the window to see the others amused faces.

I raised an eyebrow amused "What? Am I your entertainment?" I scoffed and stick my tongue to them and left the room, leaving them chuckling.

"Kate, I expect you studying, your solo training would be at 5 o'clock" I heard Charles voice form behind me, I groaned and looked at him

"Okay, professor" I sighed and I heard him chuckle

"I'll know if you don't study, Kat" I raised my arms in a shrug, walking to the door

"Like you always know when I'm up to something" I winked at him and ran to the library, to take some books to study, after all he knew what passed through my head all the time.
