Yes, he made breakfast, which me, Alex and Sean accepted it gladly, even if he didn't make for us.

When we finished, we left to train, the small exercise Charles made me do last night at dinner helped me a little control my powers, so while he, Alex and I headed down stairs to the basement to our training, I turned off and on some lights in the hallway we came across to, I smiled smugly at the lights when they obeyed me and sometimes I could see Charles's and Alex's amused faces, I ignored them and we kept walking.

We entered the basement, behind a large metal door, there was a dark room, which then lit up to show a large tunnel made of some kind of metal

"My stepfather took the possibility of nuclear war seriously, this way. That's why he had this bunker built" the inside smelt rusty, but at the same time like a modernized dining room that the rich people have in the west side "I thought we could use it as a practice rage of shots." I stared at it with awe, I wasn't exactly sure of why Charles wanted me to train here, but I stood at his side while Alex looked around curiously

"You don't think I'm going to blow trough walls?" He asked. Charles chuckled and placed his hand on his shoulder

"He had this place built to withstand a nuclear bomb, I think you can handle it, Alex" he replied

"You know when I do this, bad things tend to happen" Alex said nervously

"That's because you can't control it; it control you. That's why we're here Alex, that's why we're training" Charles replied. I could see in Alex's eyes, that he was scared, I understood that, but I still didn't know what I was doing here, my ability it came from electricity.

I raised my arm before Alex could talk, I smiled sheepishly embarrassed of the attention, my electric blue eyes shining with curiosity

"What am I doing here?" I asked Charles, he rose an eyebrow questionably, I sighed raising my arms in a shrug "I mean, I understand Alex, it's his ability, but what about me?" I lowered my arms, crossing them, Charles nodded understandingly

"I'll tell you in a minute" he replied and looked at Alex, who looked back at him and nodded with determination

"If you're serious about me doing this" he started and then looked between us "than you might want to get back" we agreed and left the bunker.

Charles locked the door and turned around to see me looking at him expectantly, he sighed and I smiled sarcastically

"Oh, you thought I'll forget it, didn't you?" I asked him, he chuckled and shook his head amused, he looked up at me

"No, Kat, you are going to train here, too" he said firmly, I opened my mouth to argue

"But.." He raised a hand to quiet me

"I've seen how your ability work, Katerina" I scrunched my nose at the sound of my full name, but listened "And besides, let me tell you that your abilities aren't so different from Alex's" he smiled knowingly

"But I control electricity" I said slowly, so he could understand, he shook his head

"Not only electricity, Kat" he said pointedly, my eyes widened at the thought

"Lighting" I whispered, a small smile growing in my face, he smiled back

"Yes, lightning, I've seen what you can do with it, in yours and the others thoughts, that's why you are here" he told me, tilting his head aside, waiting for my reaction, I smiled excitedly and frowned waiting for something to break...

I rolled my eyes and smiled at an amused Charles

"We'll work on that too" it's the last he said

I smiled and heard an alarm started to blare. Charles widened his eyes, smiled and turned to the bunker door, I chuckled and followed him, just to stop in the entry to see the mess of the place, we walked past me and I could take a better look at the burned down place.

Charles entered with a fire extinguisher and tried to put out the blaze

"I'll teach you to control this" he said

Alex looked angry and scared, I tried to lighten the mood, failing miserably

"At least you don't break lamps in a room every time you get excited" he looked at me angrily and stomped out of the room

"Wait! Don't get mad at me, you don't want to see me fail at my own training?" He stopped hesitating and looked back at me questionably

"I'll use some lightings to practice with" I explained proud and nervous, they smiled and I tiptoed waiting for them to say something

"Okay" Alex said and left the room "I'll be here outside" I nodded and looked at Charles, he nodded and stepped aside, leaving, when the door closed I took a deep breath, searching for something to focus, so I could shot. There was a black spot, in the wall in front of me, product of Alex's mess, I smiled and focused on it

I put my arm in front of me, with the back of my hand facing me and the front pointed at the wall I was looking at, with my gaze in that point, I took a deep breath and looked down at my hand, waiting for the blue light it always comes when I'm about to use a lighting, my hand started to glow blue and my eyes brighten blue and small lighting came out of my hand before accumulate in the center of it, I released my breath and pointed at the spot of black in the wall made by Alex, suddenly a big lighting came out of my hand hitting the wall.
I smiled lightly and was about to put my hand down when more lightings came from my hand going to different directions, the lights from the bunker staring to flicker, I got scared and started breathing heavily, looking around, all the lightings going from wall to wall, my hand and eyes still glowing blue, I tried to calm down as Charles told me when I tried to fix their car when we first came to the C.I.A and last night at dinner.

I closed my eyes trying to blank my mind, to keep all distractions out, I took deep breaths, I could feel the blue fading form my hands, but I could still hear the buzzing of the lights flickering, I paid no attention to it and i closed my hands in fists, thinking the same over and over again

Everything felt quiet, there was a defining silence, I was still with my eyes close, focusing on the same words over and over again that I didn't hear when Charles opened the door 'Stop.. Stop... Stop' I felt someone grab my shoulders and opened my eyes, Alex and Charles were in front of me watching me concerned, I looked around, everything looked like nothing happened, I watched them and smiled a small embarrassed smile

"Well, I guess it didn't happen what I wanted, not lighting" Charles sighed with relief and gave me a small confused smile

"Kat, you almost caused a blackout, the lights couldn't stop flickering, we were outside trying to opened the door for at least 2 minutes" Alex informed me, I snapped my head towards him, incredulously

"What?" I asked scared

"Yes, I tried to reach your mind to tell you to stop it or help you at least like I've done before, but you couldn't hear me, you were taking control slowly, so I let you do it by yourself, I have to say, I'm impressed you could act under pressure, you were technically in danger" Charles said, I looked at him confused about how he knew I was in danger, but suddenly it came at me, he read my mind to know what happened in here, he nodded, reading my thoughts

"Well, I never thought I could lose control that bad"

"I think I had to see it coming, you did cause a half-state a blackout after all" Charles said more to himself than me, I looked at him incredulously, with my mouth opened.

"I didn't meant to" I defended myself

"I know, you were studying, but this time, you weren't studying. You were focusing in your powers" he replied and then mumbled to himself "You're more powerful than I thought" he looked up and looked at the both of us

"I'm going to teach you to control it" he looked back at me "It's going to take more time with you, but you are going to control your ability, I promise" I smiled at him, knowing he would do it, he stepped back and left the bunker, I looked back at Alex and said teasingly

"Now, you can't complain about yourself being dangerous, you're like a bunny compared to me, you just saw what I did" I chuckled and turned serious "But I mean it, I'm more dangerous than you, I can't get to excited without hurting anyone" Alex looked at me sympathetically and put his arm in my shoulder

"It's okay, we'll make it trough, now, let's get out of here, dangerous partner" he smiled

"Let's, dangerous partner" I smiled back and the both of us left the bunker, we were, probably the most dangerous mutants in here, but we had our backs and we were gonna help each other to control out powers.
