Relaxing in a non training day was amazing, but like everyone who discovers something new about themselves, they try to do it until they are familiarized with it, so that's what I was doing before Charles entered the living room where I was resting.

I had my eyes closed, focusing in the air molecules, waving my hand in the air feeling some buzzing between my fingers, I smiled absorbing some energy, pure energy from the air, I created some energy balls in my hands, still with my eyes closed when I felt a change in the energy of the room, it was well known to my powers...

I opened my eyes without looking back ... Knowing exactly who entered the living room "Hi, Charles" I heard him chuckle and before talk to him, I felt five presences, telling them in order... I smiled amused without looking back

"Hey, guys! Raven, Erik, Hank, Sean and Alex" I smiled looking back at them, my smile widened when I saw them with surprised faces, entering with the order I called them, I chuckled "What? My abilities have improve" they shook their heads at me and I looked at Charles

"Your abilities have improve a lot the last two weeks, as all of yours, I'm proud" we smiled but then our smiles faded when he told the next "Tomorrow... We are going to Cuba, to fight Shaw" we stayed in silence, letting the news sink, our powers were prepared, but I didn't know if we were.

The next morning, I woke up feeling good, my wig was in the floor again, I frowned looking at it and then looked myself at the mirror, my blue hair was straight, it was like it didn't sleep with me, no hair was out of place...

My appearance in the morning was the real me, without the need of hide myself, I smiled softly at my reflexion in the mirror, deciding to do something different about myself, I changed my clothes to something comfortable and headed to Hank's lab, as we were all meeting in there before to go to the airbase to get to the plane to go to Cuba.

As I walked to the hallways, I decided to use some of my powers, energy absorbing, I put my hand at shoulder length and waved my fingers to one of the bulb lights in the hallway, it stared flickering, before its light changed from yellow to my typical blue energy, roaming from the bulb light in the form of a whip to my fingers, creating a energy ball, all the light fading from the bulb light.

I lowered my hand with the energy ball to my lap and put my empty hand under my hand light, the energy ball gaining more intensity as I focused, I smiled, making my hand in a fist, absorbing the energy, the energy traveling from my hand to my arm, then shoulder, my clavicle, to the other arm, to the other hand, making it a fist to receive the energy, repeating the process over again, a couple of times when I arrived to the front of Hank's lab, where the others were waiting for me and .. Erik? Who arrived at the same time as me, I gave them a small amused smile when they looked at me with surprised faces, I smiled brightly at Raven

"Mutant and Proud, Right Raven?" They smiled at the sight of the real me, a 17 year old pale mutant with electric Blue hair and eyes, my blue hair was straight reaching my shoulders, Raven smiled and embraced me

"Mutant and Proud, Kat" I smiled and looked at my best friends who were watching me with smirks in their faces, I pulled myself from Raven and walked to them, making my hand in a fist to absorb the energy in my hand, feeling much better and strong

"Hey, blue" Sean greeted me with a smirk, I smack his head lightly trying to glare at him, but couldn't stop the smile in reached my mouth, I linked my arms with theirs, looking at Hank's lab, in the door there was a note, who I couldn't read, just knowing what it said until Charles read it

"'Gone to the airbase, bring the crate marked X. Hank" we exchanged confused looks and Charles opened the door, the sight was something I wasn't expecting from a lab, I was expecting a lot of weird substances and experiment equipments but not this, the lab was destroyed with such as tables and test tubes littering the place, we all looked around gob smacked

"What the hell happened in here?" Erik said straight out whilst entering the room

I watched wide eyed all the destroyed pieces of work. "My God...." I murmured under my breath, while I unlinked my arms from Sean's and Alex's.

We all walked towards the back of the room, Charles seemed a little nervous whilst looking around, but then he finally found the crate marked 'X'. Once he reaches for it, he opens it and looks inside, in the crate I could see there were six suits, probably he made one for each one of us, with the needs of our mutations, I smiled softly and the thought, Hank is really nice. But I couldn't stop myself of being worried about him, Where was he?

"Hank had been busy" Erik said standing next to Raven, glancing at Charles who looked a little worried, exchanging a look with me, both thinking the same

"Do we really have to wear these?" Alex questioned Charles

Charles raised his eyebrows "As none of us mutated to endure extreme g-force or riddled by bullets, I suggest we suit up"

I smiled and grabbed the suit I thought it was for me, it was amazing, Hank really did think of my ability doing this suit....
