"Oh no , doctor ,please help. That's my only baby please " . Alessia cried out .
Ashley who was playing Lea frog with Jeremy just suddenly fell and went blank. Alessia had brought her to the hospital ,along with Jeremy and Nancy .
" Keep calm ma'am , we'll try our best " ..
Wanting to follow the doctor into the  emergency room , Alessia was sent back ..
"Ma'am let's do our work " .he said before Adding "please " with a tough look .
30 minutes later...
  "Who is Alessia Knowles" asked the nurse who had just come out from the emergency room " Doctor Nathan wants to see you in his office " then she added " first office by your left " .
With Jeremy holding her hand , she ran as fast as she could caper to the office ...
  For all she knew her life depended on it ...
Doctors office ...

" I'm sure you know that she has sickle cell right , but there's more to it " .

" Doc . I just gave you all the details from her birth , but you are not answering me " she screamed out , with tears in her face and in her voice .

" Okay fine , just calm down , she also has a hole in her heart okay" .sighing , he continued ." You just have to calm down "

  Unable to say anything , as her mouth refused to work in compliance with her brain , Alessia ran out of the doctors office ......
 
Days after ... Alessia had begged Jeremy never to tell Ashley about all that had happened ...,and it was a secret he was ready to keep .As far as he was concerned , his best friend would not die .

....." . Jeremy!!!"Ashley screamed for the third time ."what are you thinking about ? " she inquired

" oh nothing , I was just lost in time " he replied , trying to keep a smile on his face .

" okay , umm any news on a new foster home ".

" Nah, no news yet , guess I'm stuck to the orphanage ".

" No , you're not , you have me and mum tho "..

Nodding in reply , Jeremy made up his mind to do all he could to keep his best friend alive . Even if it meant dying .
