"Umm ...mum," Ashley finally said something "I'm sorry for making you stay an extra month here , I'm just so sorry mum "

"Hey , its not your fault dearie , just keep calm . Thank God Lyon is a pediatrician ". Trying to hide the tears from Ashley , Alessia took excuse and left the ward , leaving her to her life support .

"Let's just hope for the best , but then the fear is if neurosis gets involved then I'm scared "

  "But George has called out for us to come back to America , so we'll travel to China for another heart " . No doubt Alessia was confused . She knew and believed in her heart that Ashley wasn't going to die but the doubt was more . For all she knew , the hole was getting deeper and without time it could stop working , and the same child here also is SS .

"Stop crying and thinking Al ," Lyon called out , distracting her from her thoughts "Let's wish for the best "

" What best are we wishing for ,"She shouted out at him . Trying hard to continue her words , Alessia broke down again and started crying .

Saying anything will not be the best thing to do now , Lyon said to himself. Going close to her and holding her , Lyon thought of the worse things that he had gone through after leaving home .

"So how's it going to work now , should I come over "George asked over the phone .

"If you can , I'm just confused . All thanks to this Lyon guy . He has refused to take any money from me "

"Oh , so I'll have to thank him when I get there . My mom went to church yesterday for her sake , and Jeremy has been crying ."Sighing , he continued " First thing tomorrow morning tell Ash that I'll be there "

"Okay then bye "

"Yeah bye "

After dropping the call , Alessia realized that today was going to be a very busy day .Also as she and Ashley would be going to another therapy with Lyon .

"How are you feeling now Ash ?", Lyon asked after the therapy . Actually , when they got to the hospital ,himself and Alessia had been asked to go out and leave the hospital .

"I'm fine at least ", she replied. She couldn't help but notice how scared both her mum and Lyon were . It was probably more than they had bargained for . Facing her mother who had been quiet all this while , Ashley inquired "Hey mum , why ain't you talking "

  "Nothing dear "she replied . That was the only answer she could think of for now .

After taking them in his car down to the pediatric  hospital which had become a temporary home for Ashley , Lyon dropped them off after promising to get back after a meeting he was already late for . Leaving Alessia to handle Ashley .

"So is he coming with Jeremy ?"

"For the last time Ash , he's not . Jeremy can't travel by air you know , and a ship would take them days ."

"Oh , okay . I won't tell Lyon tho, I want him to be surprised "

Not replying her daughter , Alessia jus shook her head as she tried placing a bowl of cereal in front of Ashley .
"Now eat up , Lyon should be here soon to give you your shots "

  "Okay mum " , Ashley replied and sat up to eat ...

Jeremy was bothered .
For all he knew it was meant to be a two week trip down to Egypt , but now it was going two months already . It was probably the heart again . How he wish he could do something to help her out . If only he could exchange his life for that of his best friend , in fact siste...

"Jeremy , for the last time I ..." George stood in front of Jeremy's room door shouting . He had called out to him for quite a while now but he didn't hear .

"I'm sorry ,I just  ..."

"Don't be " , George said and went closet to him . Holding him tight he said nothing as he listened to Jeremy sob ." You know she's still alive Jer , just keep praying "

"I am , I really am but " Unable to continue talking ,Jeremy bursted into tears .

After a few minutes of letting him calm down  , George finally spoke out . "I'll be traveling down to Egypt to go see Ashley and Alessia to make sure they are okay"

"Oh , okay good . I'll stay with Nancy then "

"Sure , take good care of yourself Jer, I love you "

"Love you too , George ". He said before hugging his foster father.

"The trip here was so stressful ," George said . It has been like thirty minutes since he got here and he had settled himself down . Sitting beside Ashley on her bed , George told her every single funny joke he could . Alessia just sat on the chair beside her bed staring into blank space .
"Sorry George " Ashley apologized "But I still feel sad that Jeremy is not her tho "
    "You should know he gets air sick then "

"Yes I do , anyway Lyon should be here soon, "Ashley replied smiling "He said I'll be out of this machines soon "

"Sure you will . I also can't wait to meet this Lyon of yours tho ". Looking at Alessia , he realized that she had finally slept . She really needs it  . He thought .

Just then the room door opened and Lyon announced his arrival .
"Lyon !" Ashley shrieked

"Lynn "George said with a surprised look on his face .

Not noticing the awkwardness around  Ashley spoke out to George "No his name is Lyon , more like Lion "

"George " , Lyon replied him . The look on his face was that of anger . Even the tone of his voice said it all .

Yippee I hope its all coming back to you all
Its the spirit of Christmas that is really making me post .
I really want to finish this book this year tho
