104th Shenanigans

Requested by Simp4CaptainRex

Tw: A bit of gore. Medical stuff. Panic attacks. Wolffe being high. I'm not joking. Wolffe gets high in this one shot. Sinker being RIPPED from the closet. Sexual references.

"You ready?" the medic asked, wearing his surgical mask.

Wolffe clenched his jaw, nodding once. "Yes."

The medic placed a hand on Wolffe's chest, gently pushing down. "Lay down, then, okay?"

Wolffe let himself be pushed down, hands fisting his blacks. "Just get this over with."

"Don't worry, Commander, this is all completely maintenance. I won't do anything I don't have to or that you didn't consent to ahead of time," the medic soothingly said.

Wolffe sneered. "I know that."

The medic rolled his eyes, pulling a chair over to sit near Wolffe's head. "I'm going to begin, then."

Wolffe refused to flinch as a tool was brought to his cybernetic eye, fiddling with the device. It didn't hurt, it just felt weird.

"Commander, take a deep breath." The medic paused and removed the tool from Wolffe's vicinity.

Wolffe realized he was hyperventilating. No. Bad. What was that feeling inside him? He didn't like it. He wanted it to go away.

"Commander, you're okay." The medic clasped Wolffe's hans with his own. "I'll give you a minute. Breath."

Wolffe pulled his hand away. "Just get it over with."

The medic sighed and picked the tool back up. "I need you to breathe through it, okay?"

Wolffe tried. He really did, but that overwhelming feeling of terror that was choking him came back and he needed to get out of there and run and run and-

"Commander." The medic was placing a cool towel on his forehead. "I need you to breathe before you pass out."

"I'm trying!" Wolffe snapped, his head so light and airy-

"Commander!" The towel was being pressed to his forehead. "Take a deep breath! You'll be okay!"

Wolffe wanted to cry. Why was he feeling like this? He had seen the horrors of war, and yet this was what made him light-headed?

"Here." The medic gave him a glass of water, the cold biting into his hands slightly. "Let's take a little break."

Wolffe blinked up at him, sipping at the drink.

"My name is Stunner." The medic pulled the mask down to smile. "My favourite colour is blue because it looks like the sky. It's peaceful. Do you like the colour blue? I think you would. Think about just the sky. Maybe a couple clouds in there."

This man is ridiculous, Wolffe thought, huffing slightly.

"Fluffy clouds just floating through the bright blue sky," Stunner continued, turning away to fiddled with a tray of tools behind him. "Just like Kamino. Do you miss Kamino? I miss the sky. It would rain sometimes, but even then, everything was blue."

Wolffe snorted. Some medic this was. He wasn't even doing anything except talking about the colour blue.

"Blue's the colour of water too." Stunner faced him again, smiling gently. "How's your water doing?"

"S'nice," Wolffe murmured.

"That's good." Stunner hummed, bringing out a needle. "Tell you what, Commander. This clearly isn't working. I can either sedate you, or we can try again."

Wolffe tensed. "I'm not sure..."

"You'll be awake before you know it," Stunner reassured him.

Wolffe began to feel dizzy again.

"Big, blue oceans. Slowly washing up on a shore. Back and forth, and  back and forth," Stunner suddenly said, tapping the glass of water in Wolffe's hand. "Can you picture that for me, Commander?"

"Fine. Sedate me," Wolffe relented.

"It'll be over before you know it," Stunner promised before Wolffe felt the prick of the injection.

"-did great. Just make sure he drinks lots."

Wolffe's head was foggy. He couldn't think clearly.

"Hey, you did great." Stunner crouched in front of Wolffe, checking his pulse. "Everything was great. I'll check in on you later."

He was moving. He didn't understand how. Was he flying?

HOLY MAKER HE COULD FLY.

Wolffe giggled, stretching out his arms.

"He kriffing giggled!" Sinker whispered to Warthog.

"Let's watch a holofilm," Comet suggested. "Boost even picked something out

"M'tired," Wolffe muttered to Sinker.

"We'll get you out of the wheelchair and into a nice, comfy bed," Sinker told him, patting his shoulder. "Just give us a minute."

Wolffe sighed, his head falling to his chest. "I don't wanna wait. I wanna watch a movie now."

Boost snickered, arranging pillows on a bunk. "We should drug him more often!"

"Never say that in any context ever," Warthog tiredly said.

So they got Wolffe comfortable and turned on a movie called 'Barbie'.

"I don't understand," Sinker said once it had ended, scratching his head. "It's... a toy? But also alive?"

"She's amazing," Boost said, blinking back tears. "So strong."

"They all are," Comet agreed. "Wow..."

"Pink's my new favourite colour," Sinker declared.

"Yeah. We know." Warthog rolled his eyes.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Sinker demanded.

Warthog sighed. "Sinker... Remember the glitter incident? With the strippers?"

Sinker's face flushed. "I told you already that it was an accident!"

"We all know you're gay," Wolffe slurred, gazing at him with glassy eyes.

Sinker's jaw dropped. "Excuse me?"

Warthog put his hand over Wolffe's mouth. "He's high. He doesn't know what he's saying."

Sinker hesitated. "I... What if I was? Gay, I mean."

Comet shrugged. "Doesn't matter to me."

"Yeah." Boost nudged Sinker. "No one's going to be good enough for my vod, though.

"I already gave some dude your comm channel," Wolffe dazedly said. He frowned. "Or did I give him mine?"

"Doesn't matter to us," Comet reiterated, clapping Sinker's back.

Sinker beamed at them all.

"Shoot." Wolffe scowled. "I gave him Cody's comm channel."

"Hello?"

Cody picked up him comm, brow pinching as he said, "Commander Cody, here."

"Hey, Commander." The voice lowered and roughened. "I've been thinking about you."

Cody frowned. "Pardon?"

"Been thinking about everything you could do to me."

Cody's face lit up. "I think you have the wrong person."

"I don't think I do. You're the Commander, right?"

Cody slowly nodded. "Yes..."

"Then you're the right person to pound-"

Cody severed the connection.
