Neil

" Avni come fast we are getting late " I called her. I'm going to drop her in school as it's her first day in new school. Yesterday I talked to the principal of the school and they had not any problem for her admission. Her previous school was so far from our home so I thought to change her school.

" Coming " came her reply. She came after 2 minutes wearing her school uniform " I'm ready, let's go " she said giving a smile.

   We reached her school and came out of car " apna lunch box finish karna and be a good girl " she nods " I will be late tonight so don't wait for me" she pouts. I know she don't want to be stay alone but today I have some important work so will be late " I'll try to come soon " she smiled and hugged me.

" I'm little nervous " I know it's obvious as its first day in a new school. I rubbed her back and hairs to comfort her. She moves more closer  to my chest " it's ok, don't be too nervous, you can do it I know that " I whispered " but, I don't have any friend here " she said in a low voice.
I cupped her face and lifted it " you can make new friends na " 

" It's not easy to make new friends, what if I would't be able to make friends, then I'll be alone in class " she looks down. I lifted her chin and looked at into her eyes "  I'm sure you will soon make so many new friends "

" How can you be so sure " who wouldn't want to be your friend Avni.

" Kyun ki meri Avni itni  pyari hai toh koi use kese dur reh sakta hai " she smiled. Her one smile is enough to made my day happier. I kissed her forehead " take care " 

She hugged me for one last time " you too and come soon " she stands on her toes and whispered in my ears. I smiled, I too want to come soon  as possible as I can and cuddle with you.

She went inside school and I stirs her until she invisible from my eye sight.

Avni

   Finally I'm home. I threw my bag on table and jumped on my bed. It was not that hard I thought it would be. The teacher's are really supportive and students too. I made 2 new friends Kajal and Ali. It could't be possible without Neil. He made it easier for me. I'm really lucky to got him after my parents death.

  He said he will be late tonight and don't wait for him, but I will wait for him. I smiled shyly. Don't know why but my cheeks turns pinkish shade when I think about him and now too my cheeks are like red tomatoes. It really hard to control my blush infront of him, but I always managed to hide it. What will he think about me if he see me blushing for him.

I went to bathroom and fresh up. I wore a short and a top and apply baby lips on lips. I sat on bed and starts doing my homeworks.

It's 10 o'clock now but their is no sign of him. I was hungry so I did my dinner, don't know Neil had his or not, hope he had.

Switching on the TV I placed myself comfortably on sofa. Accidentally I sat on remote and a news channel appears on TV's screen.

" Congratulations mam aap phir se MLA ban gai " reporter said. I was about to change the channel but stopped hearing that horrible voice.

" Yeh sab to aap sab ka pyar hai " her face came infront of me. My whole body was shaking and throat became dry. Flashes of bad memories came in my mind. I switched off the TV and ran to my room.

My hands are sweating " she will kill me "

Neil

   I'm working on Avni's parents accident case but couldn't find any clue. There is definitely something  that I'm missing. I got to know that Avni's parents came here 6 years back. They were living in London but only for 10 years. That's all I know, but I have to find out the information about Avni's parents life before they shifts to London.

    I looked at my watch and it's 12.30 . Get ready to scold by her in morning Neil. I wanted to go earlier and know about her first day on school but this case is important too. I hope Avni wouldn't not be waiting for me and must be sleeping now. I closed the file and took my car key.

  Before Avni's arrival, I never feel like going home, but now I always finds some excuse to go home.

  Closing door I placed the keys on key hanger. First I came to check her and found her sleeping. After closing her room's door I came back to my room for changing my uniform. Changing into comfortable clothes and switching off all lights I came back to her room.

      I settled myself beside her and hugged her from behind. I sat up with a jerk and touched her forehead. Her whole body was burning. How she got fever she was fine in morning, was anything happens in school.

" Avni....Avni " I called her stocking her hairs. She stirs in sleep and turned to me. Her face is red and eyes are swollen. Her cheeks have tears marks. What happened to her.

" Avni utho bachcha....kya hua han "  she opened her eyes slowly.

" Neil " she called me in a very weak voice.

" Han bachcha main yehin hun kya hua tumhe han " I caressed her cheek. She hugged me and started crying.

I sits her on my lap and she move closer to me like a baby. I hold her close to my heart and caressed her back and hairs " Baby don't cry I'm here with you... Sorry baby I left you alone but please don't cry "

" Please don't leave me, she will kill me " she said in trembling voice.

" I will never leave you " I said cupping her face "  I wouldn't let anything happed to you and about whom you are talking and scared from " why is she so scared. She said she don't know anyone here and now whom she was talking. Is that person related to her parents death.

" Wo....wo..." She was trying to speak but words are not coming from her mouth. It's not the right time to ask her, she have fever and not in a situation to say anything.

" Ok....ok.....we will talk about it later, now I have to check your temperature " I checked her temperature and it's 104. I gave her medicines.

She is sitting on my lap and her legs are around my waist. She wraps  her arms around my neck. I can feel her hot breaths on my neck. I slides down on bed and covers us with blanket. I  kissed her cheek and forehead tapping head.
