" What are you doing with my phone,  Mithali  " I asked her furiously, when I saw her talking in my phone without my permission.

" sorry Neil, Avni  was continuously calling you so I thought it must be important and picked it " what the hell...she was talking with Avni. I shouldn't have left my phone here. But don't she have manners to ask before touching other's  things ?

   Forget her and get ready to face your princess's  anger, Neil. She must be pissed of by now. Now I'm regretting for coming with Mithali. We were came for finding evidence for aur case, but bad luck I stuck with her. When we were coming back to police station she said she is straving and needs  something in her stomach. Reluctantly  I had to come with her to this restaurant ( frowned ).

" hello Avni....is everything alright " I asked after taking my phone from Mithali's hand.

" jaanu, don't know how my scooty stopped on mid way " my princess is in trouble.

" lock the scooty and leave it there and go home in a auto or taxi. I'll  get the scooty latter "  I said as I can't go to help her now. I'm far away from her. It will take me to 2-3 hours to reach there.

" ok jaanu. By the way where are you " I gulped. I can't tell her that I'm currently in a restaurant with Mithali. She wouldn't like it.

" where would be I, Avni ? I'm in police station " sorry princess, I had to lie you. I don't want you to stress on such a small thing.

" when you... "

" Sir, your order  "  I cursed the waiter under my breath for coming in wrong time.

     I'm gone today. Avni will surely kill me today. She wouldn't forgive me for lying. But I didn't want to hurt her.

" Avni I... " I wanted to clear everything but she didn't let me say anything and cut the call after saying "  enjoy your date, Neil "

Where this came from ?

Why she is thinking I'm on a date ?

  I have to clarify her everything. She misunderstood the situation.

I called her but she didn't pick it. She is hurt. It's all my fault . I should not have lied to her. If I had told her the truth, she wouldn't be hurt now.

" Neil wouldn't you want to eat anything "

" No and don't you dare to touch my things from next time " I warned Mithali and came out of the restaurant.

I want to go to my princess. I want to say sorry to her.

I was on the way to my home, but commissioner sir called me and told me to come to police station for a urgent meeting. I have no luck today. I sighed and went back to police station.

I'll come soon, Jaan. Just take care of yourself.

Finally I can see my princess now but it's too late now. Don't know how my princess will be. I'm sure she would  not have eaten anything. I had called Sunheri to check on Avni as she is not picking up my calls. Sunheri said Avni is in home. I felt a little relieved that she is in home.

I was about to ring the doorbell but stopped. What if she was sleeping ? It's 1 am. I took out the spare key from my pocket and opened the door. It was completely dark and silent from inside. I switched on the lights after locking the door from inside. Her college bag was laying on floor. I placed it on the couch and walked towards our room. Thankfully she didn't lock it from inside.  Our room was also dark. All the windows are closed. She is truly very upset with me. Avni don't like to stay in dark and closed room. But today it seems like it is not bothering her at all.

  I switched on the lights and saw she was sleeping. I opened the windows and then sat beside her. Her face was looking dull and pale.

" I'm sorry princess " I leaned close to her face and kissed her forehead. I gently held her face in my hand and caressed her cheek with my thumb.

   She stirred and started waking up. She slowly opened her eyes. I was still caressing her cheek. She looked at me with her hurtful eyes. It pained my heart. She has many questions in her eyes. After few moments she looked away.

" Avni I..." she held my hand which was on her cheek and jerked it away. She threw the blanket and sat up on the bed. She wasn't looking at me. She didn't want to look at me. She got out of bed quickly before I could catch her.

" where are you going " I asked running to her.

" my room " she said  holding the handle of the door. I held her by her shoulder and turned her around.

" Jaan, this is your room, ' our room ' " I said cupping her face in my hands.

Her facial expression wasn't pleasant. She was furious. And her next move proved it. She pushed me with her full force.

" don't call me by that name and this is your room not mine. I'm going to my room and I'll shift my all things to my room very soon "  she stated.

It's enough now. I can't tolerate her this behavior anymore. I lifted up her in my arms forcefully." What are you doing ? Put me down " she shouted wiggling in my arms. I ignored her shouting and carried her to the bed. I caged her in between my arms after placing her on bed. " leave me, Neil "

" at least give me a chance to explain, Avni "

" there is nothing to explain " she again tryed to push me but I didn't let her to go and pushed her more onto the mattress.

" Avni, I know I shouldn't have lied to you but I thought you wouldn't be happy when you got to know that I was with Mithali in a restaurant and I didn't want you stress on such a little thing,  that's why I lied. I'm sorry princess. I did't want to hurt you but I unintentionally did. I'm sorry Jaan.  I will never lie to you again in my life . Please forgive me " I pleaded. I don't want to lose my Avni in any condition. I can't imagine my life without her.

" can I go now " she said ignoring my emotions.

" Jaan, don't do this please. Don't ignore me " my heart was shaking in my chest. I can't bear her ignorance.

" why are you doing this, Neil ? It's your life. You can do whatever you want to do. You can go with whomever you want on dates. You can be with whoever you want to be with. Why are you giving me explanation ? " she asked with a cracked voice.

" Avni, It wasn't not a date. I and Mithali  are working on a case together  and we were went to find evidence for our case. Mithali was hungry so we stopped at a restaurant to eat something nothing else " I said honestly looking into her eyes.

" no, you are lying "

" I swear I'm not lying...please believe me " her eyes soften.

" you aren't lying ? " she asked hopefully. I cupped her cheek with my palm gently and shook my head negatively. A small smile appeared on her face but it disappeared the next moment.

" what happened " I asked caressing her cheek with my thumb.

" Mithali said you asked her to go on a date with you " what ? Why she said that ? She is definitely in a trouble. I wouldn't forgive her for this.

" look Avni, I don't know why she said that, but trust me, I never asked her for a date, not anyone else. Believe me "

" you are saying truth, right ? "

" I swear of God, Avni, I'm saying only the truth "  she smiled widely and wrapped her hands around my neck. I wrapped my hands around her back and hugged her tightly.

  I so badly wanted to tell her how much I love her. I wanted to confess my feelings. I wanted to tell her that she is the only girl in my life and whom I love her to death. But I want it to be special for her. She deserves best and I'll give her the best. I'm sure now that she love me the way I love her. I'll confess my feelings soon. I can't wait more.

   I moved back a little so I could see her face. She give a smile which fluttered my heart. I caressed her cheek looking into her eyes. I didn't realize that our faces were incredibly close until I felt her hot breath on my skin. Our lips were at only a inch apart from each other. I want to touch those rose petals with mine lips. I want to taste them. But I can't. I have to wait for the right time.

   I started to getting up from her but she encircled her aram around my neck pulled me towards her more. I fell over her. My hands were on either sides of her. We were back to the same position we were before. We were looking in each other's eyes. God knows how I was holding my urge to kiss her those tempting lips.

   She started move closer to my lips until our lips met. I closed my eyes when I felt her softness. She wasn't moving neither I. I opened my eyes and saw her eyes were closed. I couldn't believe my princess took such a bold move. I smiled against her lips and held her face in my right palm. I parted my lips slightly and started moving my lips. After few seconds she too started moving her lips against mine. Our kiss was getting more deeper and passionate each passing second. She held my hair in her tight fist and pulled me more towards her. She was sweeter than sugar and softer than cotton. I was feeling like I was eating cotton candy.

 
    We broke the kiss due to need of oxygen. Our forehead were resting against each other's and we were breathing heavily to catch out breath. I kissed on her forehead and held her close to my heart. I laid on my back taking my princess over mine. She snuggled more into me. Neither of us said anything after the kiss. We just wanted to feel it. It was beautiful. Nothing can describe that.
