A police jeep stop infront of police station and A police man came out it. He came inside and one of him staff member came infront of him.

Police man - DD koi nei case ?

DD - Neil sir wo ek accident ka case aaya hai

Neil - thik hai uss case ki abhi tak jitni bhi information mili hai mujhe lake do

DD - ok sir...

Neil's POV

I came to police station on my regular time and got a new case. I told DD to bring every information of this case. DD is very sensible and hardworking, he is my junior but we are like brother. I live alone in my apartment and DD and his wife sunheri are my neighbour.

I came inside my cabin...it's like my second home as most of the time spend here...I don't think I have a home....I mean I only go there for sleep.... I have no one whom I can call my and I don't think I will ever have....Now it has become a habit to be alone .. I know I am only 23 years old and I have had my whole life ahead of me but I think my whole life will be spent solving the cases.

I heard someone's sobs...I looked around, but didn't found anyone....I move towards table for taking a file and again heard that sound. I bend down and saw a girl was crying holding knees tightly under my table.

" Who are you and what are doing here " I asked her softly as she was already crying and I don't want her to scared more.

she lifted her head and I saw her....her face was all red...I think due to continuous crying...she was looking like a fragile doll but her eyes are showing her pain and fear...

" Kon ho tum aur tum ro kyun rehi ho " she get scared hearing me and started crying more

" Heyy... stop crying... shhhh mujhse daro mat....bahar aao " she shaked her head negatively...now What should I do

" Bachcha daro mat .... Achha bahar aao main tumhe chocolate lake dunga " I said. She looked at me innocently....awww I want to hug her

She gave me her hand and I held her soft hand. I took her out from under the table and made her sit on chair.I took my handkerchief out of my pocket and gave it to her. she wiped her tears and nose.

" Thank you " she said looking at me and I smiled.

" Sir yeh rehi file " DD said coming inside my cabin.

" DD yeh kon hai " I asked DD pointing towards the girl

" Sir yeh Avni hai iske parents ke death accident main ho gai aur jis case ke incharge aap ho " dd said and I felt bad for her. She is so small I think may be 15-16 years old and now she is all alone in this world like me. I can understand her her pain as I'm a orphan.

" Thik hai tum jao aur Avni ke lia chocolate leke aao " I said and DD went out

" Achha Avni tum apne parents ke alawa kisi aur ko janti ho kya " I asked her softly. She nods negatively.

" Mere mamma papa ab kabhi wapas nehi aayege " she asked with teary eyes. I just can't control myself and hugged her.

" Shhh....sab thik ho jayega ro mat" I said caressing her hairs and back. She was crying so I held her in my arms. After a while I didn't hear her cries so I saw her and she was sleeping. I picked her up and put her on the couch. I sat beside her.

" Mamma " I heard and looked towards Avni. She was looking around my cabin then she looked at me.

" Main so gai thi kya " she said. I sat near her.

" Han, tumhe kuch khana hai " I asked her and she nods.

" Achha batao kya chahiye tumhe " I said. She thinks for sometime.

" Pizza " she said. I smiled

" Ok " I said and called DD to bring pizza for her.

DD came with a pizza box and Avni got happy seeing it. She ate that pizza completely, I think she was very hungry. She looked at me and pouted.

" Kya hua " I asked her.

" Sorry wo main akele sab khalia " said said and looks down

" Koi baat nehi aur wo tumhare lia hi tha " I said. She smiled a little.

DD came to cabin.

" Sir hume Avni ka bayan lena hoga" DD said.

I don't think so that she is in that condition that she can give her statement right now, but this is rule and we have to take her statement.

" Avni tumhe pata hai ki yeh accident ke hua " I asked her softly. Her eyes bacome moist. I held her hand and rubbed it with my thumbs.
I don't know what is this feeling but I can't see her in this pain. Whenever I saw her in tears, I feel like my heart is paining.

" Wo kal main mamma aur papa lunch karke ek restaurant se aarehe the tab hamari gadi ki tire puncher ho gaya. Papa ne kisi ko call kia mechanic bhejne ke lia. Hum sab car ke andar bethe the phir mujhe hamare car ke pass ek puppy dikha aur main car se nikal kar bahar aagai. Maine us pappy ko uthaya aur car ke pass wapas aarehi thi par ek truck aaya aur......" She couldn't say further and strated crying. I hugged her and rub her back.

" Shhh...calm down " I said and kissed her hairs.

" Doctor uncle ne kaha mamma papa mujhe chhod ke chale gaye... phir police uncle mujhe yahan le aaye " she said and hugged me tightly.

" Bas bas...hogaya....rona band karo main hu na..." I said. I don't know why I said I'm with her but I wanted to be with her.

DD recorded her statement.

" Sir wo NGO wale aate hi honge Avni ko lene " dd said. I don't want to leave her. It's been only some hours that we meet but I feel connected with her. I feel complete when she is in my arms.

" DD unhe mana kardo, Avni unke sath nehi jayegi wo mere sath rehegi...I mean jab tab hum culprit ko pakad na lete tab tak. Mujhe lagta hai yeh ek pre-planned murder case hai aur wo Avni ko bhi marne ki koshish karne sakte hai toh jab tak real culprit pakada na jaye Avni mere sath rehegi " I said. Though I want Avni live with me but I really think it was a pre planned murder.

" Ok sir " dd said and went out.
