Sorry this took so long I wanted to make art and also my niece was over so I was so exhausted... I don't really like kids...

Dream and nightmare stared at each other for a long time. Distress in both of their eyes. Dream had never seen nightmare so afraid. If it was really so bad... then he should have to face it too. They're twins. Brothers. Dream shouldn't  have let him suffer so.

Dream takes bite from the fruit of the tree they had known for so long.

Scorching pain took over his body... everything felt as if he was on fire. He was sure he was choking as well as he fell to his knees. Nightmare instantly backed in fear almost instantly ignoring their fight before in concern for his brother. Concern dream hadn't seen in so long.

Dream chokes, "n-night-" he coughs up black liquid. So this was how it felt. This was the cruelness nightmare was forced to live with. When nightmare made this decision he had nothing left. Not even dream could help him at that point. Dream cries in pain. He deserved this for being so awful. Brothers should always be there for each other.

Nightmare whimpers, "dreamy...? No... why would you...?" He could feel his voice shatter under the anxiety. Nightmare had done this. He punished his brother so. He never meant for this...

Dream whimpers and coughs up more of the liquid. He forgot to say goodbye to ink and blue... he whimpers. This had to be done. Dream looks up at his brother who was stuck in place. He pushed himself up, "nighty... it's ok..." it's almost like something was taking over. What was this... this must be what changed nightmare... but nightmare learned to control it... he could too. 

"I'm sorry..." he says before everything in his world went black

Nightmare whimpers as his body forces him to his passive state. A being he hadn't been for a long time.

"Dreamy!" He couldn't breathe, "no... no!" He took steps towards the new person. He knew this couldn't be his brother. He went through years struggling with himself. He had no idea how this would effect dream.

"Hehehe... bout time he caught up to you huh, nightmare?"
