"Nghhhh, where..." I groaned as I came to one what seemed to be a hospital bed, I tried to lift my hands to rub my eyes a bit but found myself cuffed to the bed.

"ah, you're awake, here is the rundown of everything that happened while you were out for 4 hours: Rescue efforts came and set up a field hospital and started treating and evacuating survivors who had family, your fake id's and documents stopped them from putting you in a jail cell but most people saw you fight and are kind of terrified of your power so they cuffed you to the bed to put the people at ease a bit, the international police are here and should be here soon, funnily enough, Lillie Aether was the one of few that protested your harsh treatment so there comes another reason to add to the list of apologies you owe her." Voltanuc filled me in and I swear I could see the smirk on his dog face even though he wasn't next to me.

I broke my restraints and took the I.V out before going to find someone who would give me an even more detailed explanation.

It just so happened I stumbled across Looker so I asked him for a briefing.

"Hello there Detective, how bad is the damage?"

"Hey! You are supposed to be cuffed to the bed!" He yelled while drawing his gun and pointing it straight at me.

"Geez, why so trigger happy? I helped save the rest of the people of this formerly great region, and I'm not looking for any recognition but the least you could do is not restrain me to bed and point a gun in my face," I faked some emotion to get him to believe me and soon enough, he did lower his gun.

"Yeah, well right now you're an extreme unknown, fake ID, passport, no trainer's license, illegal firearms, so it isn't looking good for you or the region. Setting aside your problems, the region is a frozen wasteland, only this part and the parts south of the meeting spot are intact. We are working on evacuating the citizens to relatives in other regions as well as setting up food and shelter,"

"I see, I applaud your quick response and valiant efforts, do you know where my companion is? She has waist-length white hair, blue eyes, wearing a dark purple jacket and jeans?"

"Ah her, we assumed took her to get looked at but some strange energy cuffs aren't coming off at all, you wouldn't happen to know how to take them off would you?"

"I do, but for very strict reasons, they must stay on, and I need a private meeting with you and any of the people you explicitly trust with your life because if you want to prevent something like the Groudon event and this one or much worse, you'll hear what I have to say," I whispered that into his ear and then left to find Altair to make sure nothing had gone too wrong while I was out.

I found her soon enough she was lying on her side, still knocked out on a hospital bed and after confirming she wouldn't be a threat for a while, I left and went to go get something to eat. I found a soup kitchen not soon after and grabbed some, along with bread, and sat down to eat, midway through, I was approached by Looker.

"I have my small group, ready when you are," He flatly stated with a hint of distrust still in his voice

"Ok, give me 10 minutes to finish eating and I'll be with you," I responded before going back to eating

"Are you sure this is a good idea? They might not even believe you,"

"Don't worry Voltanuc, I'll make them believe, because if they care about anything in this world, then they will help me, the only problem I can think of that is going to stop them is the charges I have against me, thank Arceus they don't know about anything I did before. In any case, we allies, we only won today because there was a huge source of power that tipped the scales, next time we might not be so lucky."

"Alright, I'll trust your judgment, we just need to make sure that this doesn't go public, lest we risk the Darkness figuring out that we are gathering an army."

I ended my conversation with Voltanuc at that before getting up and meeting Looker outside, at which point he took me into a tent they were using for HQ.

Inside I found a woman with brown skin, light purple eyes, and black hair, wearing a light blue blouse, and a guy carrying a laptop bag with brown hair and eyes, wearing a blue short-sleeved jacket and baggy pants.

"These are some trusted friends of mine, Emma, and Blake." Looker introduced them to me, and I felt something off about the Emma girl, it felt like she had something big to hide

"Nice to meet you, I am Shiro Shinozaki," It was an alias but by far my most trusted one.

"Nice to meet you, Shiro, now that I've called us here, would you care to explain what is going on? First Groudon, now 3 Mythical pokemon that are supposed to be guardians of the region?" Blake asked incredulously

So then I proceeded to explain everything I knew, while also giving a fake background that matched my alias, but with changes that allowed me to be credible.

After finishing my explanation, they all had troubled and shocked faces on them, as to be expected when the Gods you've revered have been puppets along with society for your entire life.

Looker opened his mouth to speak but I cut him off by summoning Voltanuc.

"This is the aforementioned Emperor of Lightning and Darkness, Voltanuc, you can try and scan him with your Dex's but I guarantee it won't turn up a thing,"

They all stared at Voltanuc's intimidating appearance and showed apprehension and some fear about the unknown creature before them, so I assured them he wouldn't act unless on my order or to save me or any allies.

"Well, while I still have doubts, this is a good piece of proof, an unknown pokemon with great power and the same claims as you, so I guess we will just have to trust you to an extent for now," Looker stated with an edge in his voice like he was trying to get me to join the International Police.

"There are conditions though, for now, this stays between us 4, not a word to anybody, the Darkness has eyes everywhere, and we can't risk this going public. So, if you don't mind, I'll be taking Altair to a secure location and lock her down until I can find a way to free her from the influence" I announced before stepping out and leaving them to think and discuss among themselves

"Hey, Mister....." a voice trailed off behind me and I looked back to find Lillie standing there

"Are you talking to me?"

"Yes, I didn't get your name and I was wondering if you are doing okay now,"

"Oh, I see, you must be the girl that got me to a doctor, thank you for that, my name is Shiro" I feigned ignorance in order to avoid any unnecessary explanations

"That's good, they treated you quite roughly after they treated you though, I was kind of worried"

"Ah, that was just a misunderstanding, they mistook me for a criminal even though I had only just arrived here a couple of days ago"

"Thank goodness, I knew you weren't a bad person just by looking at you, well then, I'll be off then, stay safe out there!" She bid me farewell and then went somewhere else behind some tents

"How Naive can she be? Me? Not a bad person? I think by human standards I'm a monster."

"I wouldn't be too sure about that." Came Voltanuc's teasing response

"Hmpf, I'm certainly not going to take a nonhuman creature telling me that I'm not a monster"

"I didn't say you weren't a monster, I just said that I disagreed with some of the 3 statements you made"

"3? Now you are really confusing me, and statements? I listed 3 facts, has your mind dulled from that battle?"

"You really are kind of hopeless, I'll let you figure out how thick-headed you are on your own"

"I don't have time for that" I muttered under my breath as I started towards where Altair was.

When I arrived she was still there so I just grabbed her and put her in a fireman's carry before going out and flying off towards a bunker specifically built for me by the clan. I was confident that it could serve as a base and hideout, for now, my only hope was that Looker would keep his word.

I soon arrived at the location, it was on the coast of Kalos, in the forest near the reflection cave, the only way to enter was by rappelling down the cliffside onto a certain point and verifying your identity.

I simply used my aura to fly over to the spot and verified the password and biometrics before a door just big enough to fit a person showed and I went in right away.

I left Altair in the three-bed infirmary before walking around to confirm some things, I made sure the water and heating all worked before checking on the two bedrooms that were connected by a bathroom. After that, I went into the small conference room before looking at the kitchen and checking the pantry.

Then I walked back to the infirmary and checked hooked Altair up to a monitor before leaving for the bedroom to get some rest.

Sup! As you can see, our MC now has some new allies to work with, and a small but growing debt to Lillie, not to mention the whole Altair problem. This chapter was tough to write and honestly, the entire destruction of Galar was an accident on my writing part but I think it worked out good enough.
