"Let's begin the strategy meeting then, I trust that you all have gone over the objective and the target's daily patterns," I announced to the group of 5 gathered before me and they nodded in agreement.

"Alright, I've decided that the most opportune time to strike is when Target A  is en route to the Wyndon battle tower from his house, He will set out at about 9:30 and here is where we will need to take a vote. Do we send two teams of two to eliminate each one at the same time or target one at a time with all six of us?" I asked while bringing up a map of the area and drawing the route and labeling several possible strike points.

"All in favor of the two team plan?" I asked and no one raised their hands.

"I guess that settles it, and for our first target we will take out the champion who lives farther from any reinforcements before intercepting or pursuing the second target," I announced and everyone nodded to confirm. 

"Ok then, let's go over our positioning, the first strike point is when he is out of the house and in his yard, from there we will engage him before he takes off on his Corviknight. If this plan is to fail then we will fall back to strike point two which will be the wild area, then spread out over the wild area to keep a visual lock on him while we engage combat in the area." 

I then looked up for a second to make sure everyone was following before continuing.

"Strike point three is where things will get harder if we haven't subdued his relic yet, as he will have probably informed law enforcement and his rival/friend Hop who will have come rushing to the area. If they arrive and we haven't subdued the relic from the champion then we will split up and retreat temporarily and meet up 12 hours from when we split up, behind Ballonea's Gym in the forest." I finished and they just had one criticism

"What happens if we do manage to obtain the relic from the champions and his reinforcements arrive?"

"In that case, we will do everything in our power to protect the Relic wielder and escort him/her to the pickup point in Hulbury. If there are no more questions then you should go and prepare, we move out tomorrow at 6:00 AM and will be given 12 hours to adjust before starting the mission." I finished before dismissing them and walking back to my room, upon which I was summoned by Mother yet again and so I walked back to her quarters.

"You called for me Mother?" I asked while knocking on the door

"Yes, you may enter," came her reply and I promptly stepped inside

"I called you here again because you will be departing before your team in order to take on a mission ahead of time in Galar. In short, you are to kidnap Leon, I'm sure you already know who he is and can guess the purpose of this." 

"Yes, I've heard Hop cares for him a great deal, doing this will most likely send him into a panic so it'll be easier for us to take the Relic" I deduced and Mother gave a single nod to confirm before telling me to depart immediately to which I dashed out of the office and back to my room where I quickly grabbed 2 syringes and a dart gun with a K.O gas grenade and a spool of rope that was made from carbon nanotubes before stuffing it all in my bag and heading to the garage where I got on a motorcycle and sped to the nearest airport.

I quickly got into the cargo hold and waited about 15 minutes before the plane announced take off and we started our ascent away from Hoenn and towards Galar, the flight was pretty uneventful and it took 9 hours, most of which I slept through and after arriving at Galar I checked myself into an Inn and did some planning for two hours before heading to bed since it was 10:00 and I needed to adjust for timezones. 

I awoke the next morning at 5:30 and looked over my plan again before grabbing the dart gun, K.O gas, rope, and setting out towards Leon's house. Which was a mere 10 minutes away and once I got there I looked at the security system in place. 

There was a mere laser bar system all over the place and some biosecurity measures at the doors while the windows were all locked, I nimbly moved through the laser system bending left and right through the first wave before sliding under two more and jumping between 2 more sets and reaching the moving part.

I lept through the air past 2 crisscrossing beams before springing off my hand and spinning past another 3 and then rolling under 2 more before getting up and jumping from leg to leg towards the door and when I finally got there I scaled to the top of the building. 

I looked down the chimney and it took had lasers too but this was my only way in so after examining the lasers I jumped down, it was relatively quick to reach the ground but an unusual stray laser I didn't see had almost got me and to avoid it I had to twist my body in a sort of unnatural way so my back now aches a little.

After I got out of the fireplace I calmly walked towards the bedroom of Leon and shot him with a dart that put him in an even deeper sleep before using his biometrics to disable the security and walking out of there before taking off in a sprint towards a shed in the Slumbering Weald.

Once there I set the K.O gas bomb to go off as soon as he showed signs of waking and tied him to a metal beam in the corner of the room. After making sure everything was in place I closed and locked the door before leaving back to my hotel room and reviewing a couple of info points before going to receive my team.

At least that was my last thought as I stepped out the door and caught a glimpse of a white-haired girl before blacking out. 

Third Person POV

Ash greeted the girl who was Altair and after exchanging some greeting they sat back down in his room. 

"I have a new mission for you, kill Lillie Aether who will be arriving here tomorrow with her Mother to work with the new chairman to the region about the protection of pokemon in the region," Altair announced before taking her leave and Ash processed the order for a second before heading out again to receive his team.

Sorry if this was a little cliff hanger, these few chapters have been really hard for me to write for some reason and this one took especially long, I hope you enjoyed nonetheless and hope that I can upload a little more frequently. Ja ne!
