RECAP:- Randeep goes abruptly from police station and mrinal and raghav return home to find him, but are left dissapointed

MEANWHILE WITH RANDEEP:-

{ he rode in full speed, above him clouds rumbled, soon he was drenched in rain but his body was hot as fire, maybe with anger or a result of past days strain, reaching his destination, he got off and stood firmly, yet drained, furious but helpless, his face showed strong features but he was too broken to enter, tears lost in his wet face, disheveled he stood in front of ashis flat, where he last came only to take her with him for Ayeshas wedding. As the door swung open he made his way inside and a fresh set of tears rolled down, he was walking right into darkness until something stopped him. His leg hit against something, the darkness and clouds were also no help, he bent down to pick up this belonging of his love but he froze as he touched something hot, his hands wandered and not a second later he felt a hand, the clouds rumbled and lightning struck under its light a small figure was somewhat visible, it didnt take a second for him to figure out it was ashi – his ashi, he instantly and gently picked her up and rushed outside, the rain had stopped but clouds were indicating another downpour with lightning striking, but he felt his world falling apart with the clouds. In his arms was his long lost beloved but as someone he did not imagine in his worst nightmares, she was beaten up black and blue, some red stains on her clothes which told clearly she lost weight, her hair messed falling with cuts on chapped lips and a pale face, her state was a tell tale of her past 4 days and hell shes been through. He ran and hailed a taxi. Taxi driver looked like he just met with a ghost, a man with a half dead girl in his arms }

Randeep:- hospital jaldi!!

Driver:- sir doosri taxi karlo, ye police ke chakkar-

{ Randeep yanked him with his collar towards himself, his eyes bloodshot, under them the driver flinched}

Randeep:- tujhe lagta mujhe farak padta hai

{ he immediately started driving, and within 5 minutes he was in front of the hospital, Randeep ran with ashi in his arms and called for help, nurses came and ashi was being rushed into the emergency room with Randeep following beside until she was out of sight, but now he was not in a state to process, he stood there lifeless, the state he found her in was like a knot in his heart from which daggers and pins were slowly and simultaneously being pulled out, suddenly sanjays words echoed in his mind and just then a nurse came out instructing to fill out forms, as he was filling out he stopped at the section guardian signature – relatives only, he knew he maybe the world to her but he was nobody to her in the eyes of the world, he looked up from the paper and on the phone nearby, instantly picked it but didnt know next move, he was numb }

Receptionist:- aapko kisi ko call karna hai ?

{ he looked at her blankly for a second, then nodded, without thinking he dialed the first number that came to his mind }

Sanjay:- hello ? Randeep kahan hai tu ? Randeep?

Randeep:- hos- hospital mein

Sanjay:- hospital ? tu thik hai ? kaunsa hospital hum abhi aa rahe hai ?

Randeep:- global

Sanjay:- wahin reh hum abhi aa rahe hai

{ the line went dead and Randeep went back to icu, a huge glass allowing to see through, doctors pacing but not frantically, was it good or bad ? ashi was lying there like stone, her chest was rising and falling minimal, this wasnt the girl he knew 4 days ago, his ashi would normally bounce around, pout and huff, smile and laugh, stern sometimes, strict maybe or even upset at times but what she never was.still as she was now, he leaned his forehead against the cool glass, and then he realized his head was hot, he wasnt crying or yelling even not feeling he was at loss of emotions, she was his heart heartbeat and without herhe slowly sunk down on the floor. After 7 or 9 minutes, his whole clan emerged from the corridor. At the end of the corridor was Randeep looking straight ahead, all of them neared him and sanjay and zain instantly came on their knees shaking him}

Sanjay:- Randeep ? Randeep ? tu thik hai ?

Randeep:- huh ?

{ he finally looked around noticing everyone }

Sanjay:- kya hua hai ?

Randeep:- ASHI

{ as soon as the word escaped his mouth, all looked at him expectantly, searching just then sashi looked up and Ayesha gasped following her line of sight }

Ayesha:- ASHI

{ all turned to her and eyes followed, on the discovery of ashi found, flood of emotions came, a surge of relief instantly hit everyone, while Ayesha was crying with smile and chuckle holding kristina and aditi, madhu and sashi were consoling the overwhelmed mothers, boys slightly smiled while ashis father was numb in happiness, he smiled with misty eyes and Randeeps father pulled him into a hug }

Ashis dad:- meri betimeri beti mil gayi bhaisahab

Randeeps dad:- ha, ha

{ among all this, Randeep was still emotionless, sanjay looked back at him and pulled him into a hug, finally tears came into his eyes and he started crying}

Randeep:- meri ashi.sanjay vomeri wajah se

Sanjay:- bhai chup hoja vo thik hai, vo mil gayi

{ everybody turned to him responding to his shaky voice, but he was oblivious }

Randeep{ pulled back}:- vo – andar – meri – meri wajah se

Sanjay{ shook him lightly}:- yahan dekh, ashi mil gayi dekhna abhi teri ashi uth kar Randeep Randeep chillayegi

Randeep{ cried harder}:- pakka ? vo meri wajah se – dekhna mene kya kar diya { he hugged sanjay }

Sanjay:- tu use dhoond laya pagal, tune use bachaya us ghatiya insaan se { sanjay parted and noticed he was hot as iron at the moment but sanjay was not fast enough to react }

{ at the mention of him an emotion flooded inside him, to describe it anger was a mild word. He rose to leave, turning back to glass window he ignored the throbbing in his head and leaned his forehead on it }

Randeep{murmurs}:- abhi aata hu { it was as if she would hear him}

{ he marched outside with sanjay and zain on his heels asking questions, ignoring them he rode off on one of their bikes, he went to the police station and this time no one even asked let alone stopping him, history repeated only this time the man had to be hospitalized, he was sitting on the chair waiting as charges were to be pressed on his actions, not that his anger died rather it increased but this time it was directed at himself }

Kushal:- kya kar rahe the ? mil to gayi thi tumhari wife

Randeep:- jaldi charges lagao aur khatam karo

Kushal{shook his head}:- yahan sign karo

{ Randeeps father came upto the desk }

Randeeps dad:- koi zarroorat nahi hai

{ he turned to see his father, all calm as ever }

Randeep:- dad?

Randeeps dad:- koi charges nahi lagenge, jao teeno gadi mein betho { he got up as he knew the power his father held as a businessmen but before he could even make out of the door, everything blacked out }

{ he became conscious, in the car, a shrill pain in his head, for a moment everything was spinning, finally his vision cleared and he saw he was with sanjay and zain beside and his father on shotgun with their driver }

Sanjay:- Randeep ? tujhe hosh aa gaya ?

Randeep:- nahi natak kar raha hu, abhi bhi behosh hu

Zain:- ha ye thik hai

Sanjay:- mujhe pata tha ise fever hai, tap raha hai

Zain:- pehle nahi bol sakta tha

Sanjay:- mauka kahan mila, jaise pata chala, ye to nikal liya

Randeep:- hum kahan ja rahe hai ? ashi kahan hai ?

Randeeps dad:- hospital

{ instantly the atmosphere became tense as his father spoke}

Randeeps dad:- gussa karne se pehle waqt to dekho, aur tumne police ko kya kaha tum ashi ke kaun ho ?

{ Randeep tried to avoid his eyes, he was looking through the rear view mirror }

Randeep:- vo – mein

Sanjay:- uncle vo vo log complaint file nahi karte aur aaplog bhi aaye nahi the to humne –

{ he instantly lowered his eyes, as he met uncles gaze }

Randeeps dad:- ab to sudhar jao, aaj ashi ki wajah tum par charges nahi lagne diye, warna wahin chod aata, bacche nahi ho ki jo man mein aaye karoge, socha karo thoda

Randeep:- ashi kaisi hai ?

Randeeps dad:- treatment ho gaya hai par abhi bhi behosh hai

{ anger made way to Randeep again, the guilt of being so helpless with ashis protection was growing, he needed to see her, hear her and be able to touch her, his father was right he had great claims of love, for ashi but when she was unsafe he was useless to her, guilt and frustration was only left in him after the chaotic 4 days of his life }
