Sivaangi whispered as two police men signed her to stop the vehicle. She parked the vehicle by a side and got down from it. A police man came beside her.

"Good morning sir... Chi.. Vanakkam sir" she chuckled nervously.

"Hmm license edu"

'Aiyaayo intha santhukulla ellam checking vaipanga nu naan enna kanava kanden?' She thought.

"License edu maa"

"Athu Sir License tholanj poyiduch"

"Tholanj poyiducha?"

Sivaangi nodded.

"Oho apdina neeye aiyya kitta vanthu sollu" the police man walked to the red jeep there.

A 5'11 man stood there writing something on a paper kept on the bonnet of the jeep. He was wearing a black Tshirt with khaki pants.

"Aiyya oru ponnu License ketta tholanj poyiduch nu solra.." The police man said to the 5'11 inch figure.

"Apdiya?" He turned around.

Sivaangi chuckled nervously at him while he raised his eyebrows and beckoned her to come beside him. Sivaangi slowly walked and stood beside him. He folded his hands against his chest and stared her with a playful smile.

"License?" He asked.

"Tholanj pochu" she said in a low voice.

"Huh?" He tilted his head and leaned his ear.

She sighed.

"Ok eduthit varala pothuma?" She said.

"Hmmm.... Kathir?"  He called another police man.

"Ashwin?" Kathir came forward.

"Intha ponnuk oru 500 rupees fine podunga" he said.

"Etheyy fine ah? Mudiyathu mudiyathu" she said.

"Kattalana pudich ulla thooki potruven"

"Hello enna meratriya? Naan yen akka kitta poyi solliduven"

"Un akka enna periya paruppa?"

"Aama..."

"Ozhunga fine katra"

"Illana?"

"Illana ulla thooki potruven"

She pouted and looked Kathir who was suppressing his laughter. She silently went with him and paid 500 rupees as fine. She glared Ashwin and moved to her scooty. She pinched his waist hardly before running to her scooty making him yelp. He rubbed his waist and chuckled slightly looking at her disappearing figure.

Sivaangi parked her scooty and walked to her home with a grumpy face. Her sister, Nithya was sitting on the sofa scrolling her phone. She threw her bag on her sister angrily making her jerk.

"Heyy enna dii??" Nithya asked annoyed.

"Yekkov un varum kaala purushan kitta konjam solli vai.. Romba over ah panran"

"Varum kaala purushana?"

"Athaan antha urupadatha Inspector irukane.. Inspector Ashwin Kumar"

"Yeii yaaru dii urupadathavan? " her mom yelled coming from the kitchen.

"Un annan paiyyan thaa ma vere yaru"

"Nee thaan di urupadathava.. Chumma stethoscope thookit suthra... En pulla naata kaapathruvan dii"

"Kaapathi kizhichitan" she twisted her lips.

Nithya plugged in her earphones and laid back on the sofa and turned deaf to their rantings.

"Avan enna ma pannan?" Her dad asked sitting on the arm chair.

"Appa chinna chinna santhukkulla ellam checking vekkran pa... Kathir anna kooda senthu... Pakathula thane poren nu license eduthit pola.. Athuk 500 roopa fine vangitan pa..." She pouted while her dad laughed.

"Siringa nalla siringa" she twisted her lips and walked upstairs.

Sivaangi grabbed her stethoscope before rushing out of the house.

"Eii saaptu podi" her mom yelled.

"Maa time aachu ma... Exam irukku" she yelled back and started her scooty.

She rode her scooty pretty fast as she was running out of time. A man with a school boy came in a bike opposite to her. As she came fast she dashed on the bike and the boy fell down hurting his legs. Sivaangi looked the man with puppy eyes while he glared her.

Ashwin looked between the man who was sitting opposite to him and sivaangi who stood beside with her head hung down.

"Sir en paiyyana paarunga sir, kaal ellam adipattu ratho... Thalaila adipatruchuna enna aayirikum? Kaal la Fracture irukku nu solranga doctor...intha ponnu mela case podunga sir"

Ashwin looked up at Sivaangi who showed her puppy eyes and pouted at him.

"Maama.. Chi Sir naan onnum pannala sir ivunga thaa wrong side la vanthanga" she said.

"Speed ah oti chinna kozhantha kaal odachathum illama.. Nyayam pesriya nee......Kanniyappan.. Vaani" Ashwin called for the constable tapping on the bell.

Kanniyappan and Vani came inside the room and saluted him.

"Ivunga mela Fir podunga... Vaani ivala pudich antha cell kulla podunga" Ashwin got up from the chair and stood before her.

"Sir sir please sir.. Theriyama panniten sir... " she held his hands and pleaded while he shook his head as he is never going to forgive. The other man's eyes softened.

"Avaraa vanthu neenga case poda vendam nu sonna thaan unna summa viduven" he said.

Sivaangi moved to that man and looked him with her puppy eyes

"Anney anney pls ney... Enna patha ungaluk paavama illaya... Naan mbbs thaa padikren..Unga paiyyan oda fracture ah naa seri pandren.. Oru kaasu kooda vanga maten... Enga veetla naa ore ponnu.. Appa paralaysed ah irukar.. Ammak cancer.."

Ashwin gasped and closed his mouth with his palm.

"Naan oruthi thaan padich enga veeta ottanum.. Konjam periya manasu pani enna manuchikonga anney.. Athu mattum illa"

She actioned him to come closer and whispered "intha inspector romba mosam anney.. Enna mathiri azhagana ponna ivar kitta vittinga na Cell kulla vech rape panniduvar"

The man gasped while Ashwin's eyes popped out as he heard it.

"Unga veetu ponna ipdi thaan police station la viduvinga la anney.. Enna unga thangachiya nenachu manichudunga ney"

"Aiyo seri ma... Naa etho kovathula police station kootit vanthuten.. Aana ithellam yosikala ma.. Seri parava illa.. Aana inime fast ah ottatha ma"

"Ota maten ney.. Inime cycle speed la kooda ota maten"

"Sir naan case lam podala sir.. Intha ponna vitrunga"

Kanniyappan and Vani took the man out of his cabin.

Sivaangi turned to Ashwin and smiled sheepishly.

"Epdi epdi? Appa paralysed.. Amma cancer ah?" He asked rolling his sleeves walking forward and she walked backward.

"Illa athu.. Naan"

"Nee ore ponna.. Appo unga akka va vadagaik thookit vanthagala?" He caged her between the table and him.

"Mama.. Naa summa.."

"Aprom enna sonna? Naan unna celluk ulla pottu rape panniduven ah?"

Sivaangi gave a caught look.

"Enak intha false accusation lam pudikathu... " He said as he unbottoned his top three buttons "So nejamave unna rape panna poren" he said in a base voice leaning.

Sivaangi's eyes widened and she pushed him immediately.

"Chi chi mama.. Enna Panra"

"Nee thane naa romba mosam nu antha sotta kitta sonna? Appo vaa dii" he wrapped his one hand around her waist and pulled her. She clutched his shirt as she dashed on his chest with a force.

"Nee nejamave nalla mosam aayita mama.... Un kitta maatikit en akka enna paad pada pogutho?"

"Yen di neeye enna mosam aanavana mathitt.. Ipo un akka mela paava padriya?.. Naan thaan di pavom" he said tightening his hold.

She didn't say anything but started buttoning his uniform.

"Ipo ethuk satta button lam podra nee... Naa unna rape panna poren" he pressed her waist with other hand.

She suppresed her laugh and gave a teasing smile.

"Naan etho antha aal case podama irukka apdi sonnen... Sorry mama.."

"Hmmm.... Irunthalum antha aal enna pathi enna nenachurpar?"

She smiled sheepishly.

"Sirikkatha dii... Gun eduth ore podu potruven.. Kedi"

"Seri vidu athaan sorry soliten la"

"Hmm"

"Irunthalum naa etho pechuk apdi sonna.. Odane sattaya kazhatit vara.. Seriyana fraud mama nee" she pinched his moustache.

He bit his lips hiding his blush.

"Seri Enna vidu.. Innaik exam irukku.. Ipove late aachu... Antha motta mams kitta irunth nalla vaanga poren"

"Exam ah..Athaan avlo speed ah poniya?"

She nodded pouting.

"Paathu otu sivaangi... Pavom antha paiyyan"

"Naan enna mama panrathu... Avaru thaan wrong side la vantharu.."

"Hmm.. Seri ipo nee po"

"Naa epdi poven.. Idichathula brake gaali"

"Seri Kathir kitta drop panna solren... Evening naa vanthu pick panren ok?"

"Okay" she smiled showing her dimples.

"Seri po" He pinched her cheeks.

"Neenga vitta thaa po mudiyum"

Both of them jerked when they heard a throat clearing sound. They tilted their heads to see Kathir standing in the door step. Ashwin immediately left her hold and she ran out jumping like a bunny making him chuckle at her antics.

"Ithu oru Police station Inspector sir" Kathir said.

"Vudra vudra...nee avala clg la drop pannidu" he patted his shoulders and went back to seat.

Kathir nodded his head and moved out.

Ashwin stopped his bullet infront of the huge medical college and waited outside. The security saluted him, he just nodded at him and walked inside looking around the sorroundings.

"Deii"

He heard a yell and jerked his head sideways to see Sivaangi trying to hit a guy and a girl holding her. He moved closer and stood with his hands on his waist.

"Deii evlo dhairiyam da unakk..en maama yaaru theriyuma.. Inspector"

Ashwin raised his eyebrows.

"Un maama inspector na enna panniduvar.. Arrest panniduvara?" The guy said in a mocking tune.

"Deii avaru mattum inga vantharu... Unna apdiye punching bag ah punch panra mathiri punch panni pichi eduthuduvaru da"

The guy smirked.

"Enna.. Enna paakuriya? Huh? En mama ipo varuvaru.. Unna epdi adich pallu ellam odaiparu nu paakuriya?"

'Enna route uh maaruthu' ashwin thought and walked fastly to her.

"Sivaangi vaa polam" he held her wrist.

"Heyy pathiya.. En mamave vanthutaru... Maama ivana adi mama"

"Vaaya moodit vaa di" he pulled her and walked fastly.

He left her hands when they reached the bullet and hopped on it. Sivaangi stood there pouting at him.

"Enna di?"

"Nee en avana adikkala?"

"Un panchayat uk naan en di avana adikanum"

"Nee police thane"

"Athuk? adikanuma? Sivaangi public mela kai vaikrath illa police oda vela.. Un pecha ketu avana adicha.. En vela poyidum"

"Chi peh" she sat on the bike and hugged him and laid her head on his back pouting.

He chuckled and started the bullet. She smiled widely as breeze hit her and looked him through the mirror. He too looked the mirror and winked at her. She blew air on his neck. He flinched making her chuckle. They reached her house and he stopped the bullet in front of the house.

"Mama mama.. Innum ore oru round mama" she said with her puppy eyes.

"Eii athellam mudiyathu.. Keezha erangu"

"Please mama en chellam la?" She snuggled into him.

He sighed and rode the bullet again for a round. She grinned and enjoyed the ride. Ashwin again stopped the bullet in front of her house after the ride. Nithya was sitting on the sit out listening to music. Sivaangi pulled the earphone out of her ears making her smack her arms. She giggled and ran inside the house. Ashwin removed his shoes and smiled at Nithya who turned her head to him after cursing her sister.

"Hi"

"Hey"

Silence

"Deii yen da angaye nikkura.. Ulla va.. Nithya avana ulla koopdu.." Her mom yelled.

"Ulla vaanga" she said.

He nodded and went inside while nithya plugged in her earphones and rushed upstairs as she pretended like being in a call.

That was Nithya! She has always been like this. She was an extreme Introvert. If lizards are the scariest thing for Sivaangi, then for Nithya its Socialising with people. She never attend any family function. All she does is read books, listen to music..sit all by herself. 

Ashwin shook his head at her and walked to the kitchen. He knocked on sivaangi's head who was munching on her evening snacks sitting on the kitchen slab.

"Maa paru ma ivana mandaila kotran" she said rubbing her head.

"Pichu puduven pichi.. Avan ivan nu sonna.. Ozhunga mama nu koopdu di" her mom warned her.

"Athai inaik unga ponnu senja vela enna theriyuma?"

Sivaangi shook her head and actioned him like no.

"Enna da? Enna senja? Aama nee yen ivala kootit vantha? Un scooter enga di?" Her mom asked.

Sivaangi gulped while Ashwin smirked.

"Atha thaan athai solla vanthen.. Madam scooter oda brake gaali"

"Brake gaali ya? Epdi?"

Ashwin looked her and mouthed 'sollata?' to which she begged as 'No'

"Athu yaaro seniors brake cut panni vututanga"

Sivaangi sighed in relief.

"Achacho yen yethukaga?"

"Vere enna.. Avunga kitta poyi nalla vaai vutrupa..athaan revenge eduthurpanga" he said while she glared him.

"Athane..yen di.. Vaaya vachut summa irukka matiya.. Poyi un akkaala paathu kathuko.. Epdi amaithiya adakka othukama irukkanum nu"

She twisted her lips and jumped off the kitchen slab. She pulled his arms and dragged him along with her to upstairs. She abruptly paused walking when she saw Nithya pacing around in the first floor listening to music. She looked between Ashwin and Nithya teasingly but he just smiled at Nithya and walked to Sivaangi's room.

'Kashtam kashtam..' Sivaangi thought facepalming and followed him.

Ashwin was lying on her bed scrolling his phone. She stood before him, with her hands on her hips.

"Yov??" She yelled.

"Ethey yov ah?"

"Aama ya"

He pulled her arms, and she fell on him. He placed his hands comfortably on her waist and stared her with a fake glare.

"Enna di mariyatha koranjute pothu"

"Pinna? Nee avala kattika pora thane.. Ethavuth romantic ah pesna enna? Waste uh mama nee"

"Athellam kalyanathuk aprom pesalam"

"Hey mama unak romance varathu nu sollu... Atha vittut ipdi kadha adikatha"

"Yevan dii sonna enak romance varathu nu?" He caressed her waist "naan ellam romance la king dii.. Paakuriya?" He said in a base voice leaning to her lips. She placed her palm on his lips and pushed his face away.

"Ahn ahn.. Ithellam akka kitta kaatunga...Inga vanthu en kitta periya Vaseegara paat la vara maddy mathiri scene poda vendiyathu... Aana anga Avala pathale therich oda vendiyathu"

"Aana en kannula nee thane reema sen maari therira.... Ava illaye" he murmured.

"Huh? Enna?"

"Onula thaaye.."

"Aama.. Keezha amma kitta enna sonna?"

"Enna sonnen?"

"Enak vaai jaasthiya? Seniors brake cut panni vutangala?"

"Apo epdi brake odanjuruch nu sollidava athai kitta?"

Sivaangi twisted her lips. He chuckled and pinched her cheeks. She laid back on his chest.

"Naa thoonga poren" she said.

"Chinna vayasula nee ipdi thaan en nenjula paduth thoonguva"

"Aama la... Aana naa konja valanthathuk aprom amma enna un pakathulaye vudala" she pouted.

He chuckled.

Ashwin removed his shoes and walked inside his house. He saw his mom and dad talking something seriously sitting in the dining table.

"Enna etho serious ah pesit irukinga pola?" He sat beside his mom.

"Vaa da en late uh? Saapidriya?" His mom asked.

"Illa ma.. Naa athai veetla irunthu saapten.. "

"Ohh anga poniya da nee?" His dad asked.

"Aama pa.. Intha sivaangi irukalee" he sighed shaking his head.

"Yen ennachu da?" His mom asked.

"Onula ma... Ava vandiyoda break ah odachita.. Naa thaa college la irunthu veetla vuten"

"Aiyyo intha ponnu en thaa ipdi irukalo...seriyana aarva kolaru" His mom hit her forehead.

"Seri seri avala thittathinga" he got offended.

"Ohh avala sonna odane kovam vanthudume.."

Ashwin pretended as he never heard that.

"Ama neenga enna pesit irunthinga?" He asked.

"Illa da.. Un kalyana vishayam thaa..Naanga jolsiyar kitta ponom.. Adutha maasam oru nalla naal irukaam atha vitta.. Aprom unak kalyanam 40 vayasula thaa nadakumam" his dad said making him choke hard.

"Naa.. Naa.. Naapathu vayasa??" His eyes widened in horror.

"Ama pa.. Athunala innum rend vaarathula nichayam pannalam nu irukkom" his dad said.

"Ama pa.. Nithya vum vela kedach settle aayita.." His mom said.

"Unga ishtam ma" he said and kissed her cheeks soundly.

His mom and dad smiled widely.

Sivaangi ran inside her athai's house dressed in a red colour three fourth blouse with golden embroiders with golden white skirt. A golden white half saree neatly pleated and pinned in her left shoulder and the other end tucked in her waist. She wore big jhumkas and bangles.

The house was full of hussles and bussles as it was her sister's engagement. She ran upstairs but stopped abruptly when she felt a ciggerette smell. She walked to the balcony and saw her soon to be sister's fiancé smoking secretly. She tilted her head and saw Ashwin' s dad talking to some one in phone. She waved at him and actioned him to come near. His dad frowned and moved to her. She pointed ashwin who was leisurely puffing the ciggarette.

"Deii" his dad yelled making him jerk and turn.

He immediately dropped the ciggarette and waved the smoke away. Sivaangi giggled at him while he glared her.

"Enna da pazhakam ithu? Oru nalla naal athuvuma ninnu smoke pannit irukka? Konjam aachum poruppu vendama ashwin? I am very disappointed" His dad said calmly and left while he sighed.

Sivaangi was pinning the flower to Nithya's hair when Ashwin's mom entered with a golden bracelet.

"Sivaangi ma.. Ashwin ready aayitana paaru.. Avan kitta itha kuduthudu"

"Seringa athai"

She bought the bracelet from her and walked upstairs. She knocked on the door and Ashwin half opened the door.

"Enna mams ready ah?"

Ashwin pulled her arms swiftly inside the room and pinned her to the door.

"En dii.... Appa kitta maatiya vudra??"

Sivaangi giggled.

"Sirikkatha dii" he pinched her bare waist.

"Aaaah" she smacked his hands.

"Sollu di.. En di pottu kudutha?"

"Chumma"

"Chumma va... Unna..." He tickled her waist and she started laughing hard.

She pushed him with all her force and panted heavily.

"Kedi.. Unnala appa kitta thitu vangunen"

"Seri seri vudu" she buttoned his half done shirt.

"Podi.. Appa romba varuthapaduvar theriyuma" he wrapped his arms around her bare waist and pulled her closer.

"Appo vitra vendiyath thane mama? En ciggerette pudikra"

"Athellam unak puriyathu dii... Police kaaranuk evlo tension theriyuma.. Stress ah koraika thaan smoke panren"

"Hmm.. Seri seekram kelambu... Time aachu.. Akka ve ready aayitanga" she tried to leave but he tightened his hold.

"Sivaangi.."

"Enna mama?"

"Unga akkava kalyanam panra thaguthi irukka di enak?"

"Yen unak enna... Nee nalla thaane irukka..actually unmaiya sonna.. Un range uk ava thaa konjam kammi"

"Ohh... Apo en rangeuk nee ok va?" He winked.

"Chi chi.. En rangeuk nee kammi thaan"

"Adingu.."

Sivaangi giggled.

"Apo madam range uk yaaru correct ah irupanga"

"Hmmmm..... Oru Ranbir Kapoor?"

"Oho.. Apdi enna ranbir kapoor ah vida naa koranj poyiten?"

She chuckled and pinched his moustache when she suddenly remembered something

"Aiyyayo" she kept her hands on her head.

"En dii kathura?"

"Athai unak intha bracelet katti vuda sonnanga.." She took his hands off her waist and wore the bracelet in his hand and smiled at him.

"Ama naa epdi iruken?" She asked keeping her hands on her hip.

He looked her from top to toe and gulped.

"Kerala ponnu maari irukka" he said.

She grinned "Seri seri... Maapilai Sir seekram keezha vaanga.. Guest lam vanthutanga" she twisted his moustache and walked outside while he sighed.

He looked back at the mirror and combed his hair and moustache. Sivaangi standing with her hands on her hips suddenly popped in his mind making him blush. He immediately shook his head.

'Thappu da ashwineyy' he thought before walking out of his room.

Nithya was beautifully draped in a Navy blue saree with minimal ornaments and makeup. Ashwin was already sitting in the hall smiling at the relatives. Nithya was brought to the hall by sivaangi and other cousins. She started breathing heavily seeing a lot of people. She smiled awkwardly when all the attention turned to her. It was something new for her. She sat beside Ashwin and smiled awkwardly at him.

Soon they exchanged the ring while Sivaangi was busy trying to twist the popper to blast it. Ashwin and Nithya sat in the chairs while all the guests wished them one by one. Nithya was simply zoned out with an emotionless face while Ashwin was busy sighting Sivaangi who was talking nonstop to her friends.

"Kalyana ponna pakathulaye vechut ava thangachiya sight adikrathu romba thappu Sir"

Ashwin heard someone whispering in his ears and tilted his head and saw Kathir staring him with a poker face.

"Ada poda" he again turned to look at Sivaangi and his eyes fell on her bare waist. He gulped and averted his gaze to Nithya who was looking particularly nothing.

Ashwin was going through a case file when his phone started ringing showing "Rowdy".  He grinned before attending the call.

"Sollu ma"

"Haa mama... Naa padathuk poren.. Ammak call panna switch off nu varuth... Nee konjam inform pannidu.. En phone la charge 10% thaan irukku... Ok bye"

"Hey hey iru...padathuk poriya?"

"Ama"

"Entha padam? Yaaru kooda pora? Enga pora? Epo pora? Epdi pova? Epdi varuva?"

"Hey mams chill.. Forum mall thaan.. En friend Varun kooda poren.. Avan bike la pick pannuvan.. Evening veetuk vanthuduven"

'Varun ah yevan da athu' Ashwin thought.

"Athellam onum venda.. Naane unna anga drop panidren.. Nee enga iruka?"

"Apdiya? Apo ok.. Avana nera mall la vara solren.. Naa ipo en college la thaa iruken"

"Seri angaye iru.. Naa dho varen"

He hung up the call.

"Kathirr" he yelled walking out of the cabin.

"Sollunga sir"

"Deii... Naa oru mukyamana velaya veliya poren.."

"Ennachu ashwin?"

"Onula.. Konjam personal... Ipo vanthudren"

He walked out of the Police station and started his bullet to her college.

"Che.. Power bank ah eduthit vara maranthutene" Sivaangi sighed annoyed looking at her phone which was almost dead.

A bullet sound caught her attention. She tilted her head and saw her mama staring her. She grinned and hopped on his bike.

"Seekram po mama.. Varun vanthurpan"

"Haa poren poren" he sulked and drove to Forum mall.

Varun was waiting in the mall. He waved at her as she waved back getting down the bike. Ashwin parked the bike and followed her with an annoyed face seeing them sharing a friendly hug. What annoyed him more was that Varun looked handsome similar to Ranbir Kapoor. He faked a smile when Varun greeted him and forwarded his hand.

"Hi, I am Varun"

Ashwin caught his hands and pressed it tightly in the name of shaking hands. Varun suppressed his wince while sivaangi frowned seeing his face showing wierd expressions.

"Hi Varun, Nice to meet you, I'm Ashwin ... Sivaangi oda mama paiyyan"

"Yeah naa solirkenla.. En akka oda fiancé" Sivaangi added.

'Ipo intha detail thevaya? ' Ashwin thought.

"Ohh yeah! Finally!... Neenga thana athu" Varun retrieved his hands from his hold.

Ashwin frowned and looked between them.

"I mean.. Ava ungala pathi pesite irupa.. Mama apdi mama ipdi nu... Finally got to see you" Varun said.

Ashwin just smiled.

"Vaa vaa.. Time aayiduch..mama bye" Sivaangi urged.

"Epdi return varuva?" Ashwin asked.

"Varun drop panniduvan..." She said walking inside the mall hooking her hands with Varun's which made him feel distressed.

He huffed and puffed as he walked to his bullet.

Ashwin gulped another glass of alcohol as he stared the wall with an emotionless face.

"Dei pothum niruthu" Kathir said pulling the bottle preventing him from pouring another shot.

"Ipo enna nadanthuch nu nee ipdi kudichit irukka?"

"Avan epdi macha ava mela kai vaikalam?" Ashwin asked as his voice broke.

"Yaaru yaaru mela kai vacha?"

"Athaan da.. Antha Varun.. Avan epdi sivaangi mela kai vaikalam?"

"Sivaangi mela ya enna macha solra?"

"Inga paaru da" Ashwin opened his instagram and showed him the story uploaded by Sivaangi in which Varun was taking the selfie with his one hand around her waist and Sivaangi leaning on to his chest with a caption 'Movie Time'

Ashwin jerked his head to him and shook his head.

"Naa.. Naa epdi macha.. Avala..."

"Ashwin..." Kathir placed his palm on his shoulders.

"Therila macha" his eyes welled up.

Ashwi shook his head vigorously and wiped his tears.

His mom twisted her lips making him chuckle at her and concentrate back on the game.

His dad entered his room with a straight face and called for his mom.

"Jayanthi?"

"Solunga" she stood up from the couch.

"Rend perum kelambunga... Saroja veetuk"

"Yen nga? Ennachu? Yen intha nerathula?" His mom asked while Ashwin stood clueless.

His mom just nodded and went out of his room followed by his dad. He sighed and switched off the PS.

Ashwin parked his car inside Sivaangi's home. His dad and mom got out of the car and went inside the house followed by Ashwin. Sivaangi's mom was sitting on the sofa with her hands on her head crying. Her dad sat beside her with an emotionless face. Nithya stood on the opposite side of them crying hard while sivaangi stood by the steps not knowing what to do.

Ashwin's mom rushed to her mom and sat beside her placing her hands on her shoulders.

"Saroja.. Ennachu.. En ipdi azhura? Nithya enna da aachu?" His mom asked.

Ashwin raised his eyebrows at Sivaangi who just stared him with a worried face.

"Maapilai.. Enna aachu? En ipdi azhuthit irukinga?" Ashwin's dad asked as he sat beside her dad.

"Innum enna ney nadakanum? Ellamey pochu.. Maanam mariyadhai ellame pochu" her mom hit her head crying hard.

"Aii.. Summa iru.. Naa pesren" her dad said to her mom and turned to his dad "Macha.. Athu vanthu...."

"Athu... Macha.. Nithya vuk intha kalyanathula ishtam illayam" her dad said making the three of them look at Nithya in shock.

Nithya cried more.

"Ethu ishtam illaya? Innum oru vaarathula kalyanatha vechukit.. Ipo ishtam illa nu sonna epdi" his mom asked getting up from the sofa.

"Maa.... Porumaya iru.." Ashwin said.

"Epdi da.. Porumaya irukrathu... Innum oru vaarathula kalyanam... Oora kootiyach.. Mandapam book panniyachu.... Ipo avungulk ellam enna bhadhil solrathu?" His mom raised her voice at him.

"Ava yaarayo love panni tholachitalam" Her mom said.

"Apdiya ma? Yaarayavuth love panriya ma?" His dad asked to which she nodded.

His mom took her mom to the kitchen and gave her some water.

"Azhama sollu da.. Yaaru antha paiyan" his dad made her sit on the sofa and caressed her hair.

Nithya looked up at Ashwin.

"I am Sorry mama" she said.

"Heyy its okay" he ruffled her hair.

Both of their moms came to the hall after hearing their conversation.

"Ipo enna nga panrathu?" His mom asked his dad.

"Mch.. Jayanthi... Namma kaasu selvu panitom.. Ooru full ah pathrika vechutom.. Aana athukunu Avaluk ishtam illatha kalyanthuk force panna mudiyuma sollu?"

Everyone looked each other while Ashwin sighed.

"Maa.. Athuk ipo enna panna solra?" He asked.

"Enna pannanum na.. Athaan Sivaangi irukka la.. Avala kattika sollu.. 23 vayasu aachu la avaluk"

Sivaangi jerked her head up in shock while everyone looked each other.

"Jayanthi... Enna pesura.. Ava padikra ponnu" his dad said.

"Athuk enna nga ipo... Kalyanthuk aprom um padikalam la... Namma enna kalyanam mudinj veetu vela seyy na solla porom?"

"Illa naa-"

"Anney anni solrathu thaa correct." Her mom said.

"Illa ma.. Nithya va vechukit epdi Sivaangik kalyanam panna mudiyum?" His dad said.

"Athellam onum prechana illa ney" her mom said.

"Seri ava sammatham vendama?" His dad said.

"Yen sivaangi unak ithula sammathama? Illa neeyum yaarayavuth love panriya?" His mom asked.

"Chi chi athai.. Naa yaarum love pannala.. " Sivaangi said.

"Seri.. Sollu unak ithula samathama ma? Un ishtam thaan ma.. Unna yaarum force pannala" Her dad said.

"Ungaluk ellam ok na enakum ok thaan pa" she said.

Ashwin stared her in shock.

"Sivaa... Yosich thaa solriya?" His dad asked.

"Ama mama"

"Ashwin unak ok ya?" His dad asked.

"Naa sivaangi kita konjam thaniya pesanum" he said and moved to an adjacent room signing her to follow him.

Sivaangi nodded at her parents and walked inside the room.

"Sivaangi nee yosich thaa solriya?"

"Ama.."

"Sivaangi.. Ithu velayat kedayathu.."

"Mch.. Naanum chinna papa kedayathu... Summa velayadrathuk"

"Apo unak ok va?"

"Aama.. Ana oru condition..."

"Ennathu?"

"Honeymoon uk Kashmir thane ticket pota.. Atha cancel panit Goa uk potudu"

"Seriously Siva?"

"Yeah..."

Ashwin just stared her. She walked close to him and twisted his moustache.

"Romba yosikathinga.. Enak ok thaan.. Enna oru varathula kalyanam.. But parava illa... Unak ok na.. Kalyanam pannikalam.. Illana 40 vayasu varaikum samiyar ah iru.. " she corrected his collars and patted his cheeks.

He suppressed his smile and watched her walking away with his hands on his hip.

Ashwin sat on the decorated bed shaking his legs dressed in a white dhoti and shirt waiting for his newly wed wife who should be probably boiling the milk.

Right after the marriage, Ashwin and Sivaangi were brought to Ashwin's brand new house. After lighting the lamp and helping Sivaangi get ready for the nuptial night, their parents and relatives left the house leaving the newly weds alone.

"Paal eduthit vara ivlo nerama?"

Ashwin walked out of the room and went downstairs. There she was sitting on the sofa with a grumpy face, her hands tied against her chest, dressed in a off white saree with pink border along with the ornaments.

"Sivaangi ma inga yen ukanthu iruka? Vaa mela polam"

"Naa varala"

"Yen di?"

"Pinna.. Unkitta goa ticket poda sonnen la.. Yen podala?"

Ashwin sighed.

"Goa thane di... Potukalam.. Ipo nee vaa"

"Chi peh"

"Adiyee.. Yen di ipdi panra?"

Sivaangi just turned her head away.

"Ipo nee variya illa unna thookit pogava?"

"Ohh.. Thookit poyidiviya? Yen purushan yaaru theriyuma? Police... Police kaaran pontatiyave thookit poviya nee?"

"Unaaa...." He walked to her and lifted her bridal style before walking upstairs.

Sivaangi bit her lips and suppressed her smile.

"Apdi enna mama avasaram unak?" She asked teasingly.

"Athellam unak sonna puriyathu dii"  he said as he climbed the stairs.

Sivaangi roamed her eyes through the kitchen counter tapping her fingers on her chin when a pair of hands wrapped around her waist from behind. Ashwin nuzzled into her neck inhaling her fresh fragrance. She closed her eyes and leaned back to his bare chest.

"Enna panringa madam?" He peppered kisses on her neck.

"Mama.. Amma kooptanga... Ellarum lunchuk varangalam...En kitta samaich vekka sonnanga.. Athaan enna samaikalam nu yosikren"

"Athellam aprom pathukalam.." He turned her in a swift and placed wet kisses on her neck.

"Mmm.. Kalailaye arambikathinga mama... Ellarum madhyanam vanthuduvanga" she said suppersing her moan.

"Athellam Swiggy la order panikalam" He said as he lifted her and walked to the bedroom.

Ashwin laid beside Sivaangi as both of them panted heavily lying naked under the duvet. He cupped her cheek with one hand and kissed her forehead tightly. She snuggled into his bare chest but gasped looking at the time.

"Mama... Time paaru.. Innum half an hour la ellarum vanthuduvanga"

"Mch.. Athaa swiggy la order pannalam nu sonnen la... Iru" he took his phone from the side table and ordered food for all of them.

"Hmm.. Half an hour la food vanthudum... Athuvaraikum innoru round polama?"

"Kondruven ungala"

He chuckled and hugged her tightly.
