"I am a Dampyre."

"Holy shit." I cursed utterly stunned.

And here I thought he is actually a human.

I hung my head disappointed. I can't have a taste of his sweet blood. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't after him because of his blood, though it's intoxicating. I just can't stop myself from getting entailed with him.

"Don't worry! I am not here to harm anyone," he gushed heaving a sigh. Well, he is a half-breed, I guess he gets that a lot but that's the least of my concern. It's not like he would be able to harm me.

"Interesting," I smirked.

"So that's why my powers didn't work. You have properly shielded yourself."

"I don't know what ya talking about, but I got work to do. Later." He whirled and walked away.

I don't know why but I clicked a snap of him while he was serving some drunkards who were drooling over him. I guess he looks cute dressed as a girl.

Gee, they don't have any idea he is a guy. I gotta admit I also got fooled by his disguise.

I found him spiking someone's drink. Man, what's he up to?

Oh, no. No! No! Not him.

The guy stood up and whispered something in his ear. I concentrated to listen to their dialogue.

"What's your name, hottie?"

"Stella."

"Lovely name. I sensed something weird in that drink." He pointed at the glass Ash had just served to him.

Crap!

"You think so. Let me prove it to you," Ash said in a challenging tone.

"The whole thing."

"Sure." He drank it in a single gulp. There was not a tat of reluctance on his face.

He smirked, "You are a feisty girl. I like it."

"Now, if you are satisfied. Will you excuse me?"

Where are those two idiots? I am sure they would be somewhere near. Why aren't they helping him?

"Darling, sit down here." One of the men grabbed his wrist. He tried to resist but they were too strong for him.

Looks like I have to meddle.

"Don't lay your filthy hands on her. She is mine for today." I glared at them. I pulled his hand off him.

"Oh, we don't know that. Come along with me. It's time to eat." I smirked; evincing my fangs, I licked them.

"Have fun!" They shouted smirking smugly. I pulled him and dragged him with me.

"What were you doing? Do you know who he is?" I snapped at him. Before I neither interceded with anyone's business nor got furious but he made me do things I never thought of doing.

"Well, kinda."

"He is tricky. Stay away from him."

"Do you think I like it? I just had some work with him."

"Alright, now tell me with what did you spike the drink?" I asked curiously, raising my brow.

"Don't know!" He shrugged his shoulders.

"What the...?"

"Are you an idiot?!" I yelled enraged then realized where I was and hushed myself.

"How can you drink it without knowing?" I grumbled frowning.

"I can't let him be suspicious of me, can I?" He remarked slightly infuriated.

I shook my head in defeat. "I can't win from you in this."

"Who told me to vie with me in the first place, huh?" I chuckled at his cute reaction.

"Okay, my bad." I raised my hands in surrender.

"Now tell me what's going on and I'll help you." He stared at me open-mouthed. He looks kinda cute.

I shook my head slightly.

What am I thinking? Is it some kind of charm? I frowned.

He told me everything.

"I see. You should have told me in the beginning. Here," I pulled out the injection from my pocket.

"What is this?" he puckered his brows.

"It contains silver nitrate. This much won't kill him but will weaken him for a while."

"You keep things like this with yourself?"
he inquired subtle amazed.

"Well, in places like this. You don't know when what will happen and you may need them," I replied shrugging.

"by the way, where are your idiot friends."

"They are waiting at the back door and they are not idiots." He glared at me.

"Alright. Just inject him with it. I'll take care of the rest."

"How?" he inquired a tad curious.

"If I will tell you now then it won't be fun anymore," I smirked.

"Alright. I need to throw up first." He retorted with a bored expression.

Jason was going to the restroom. Ash glanced at me and I nodded. He stabbed the injection in his arm, caught off guard, he staggered. The liquid instantly started kicking in. As Lycans are vulnerable to silver nitrate, it didn't take me even a second to get control over his mind.

I ordered him to get in the corner. Ash and I followed behind him. When we were away from everyone's eyes I asked him to take out the document he had with him. He pulled out a sheet of rolled paper with a red thread binding it, from underneath his shirt.

"Take it." Ash took it and hid it somewhere in his dress.

Go to the restroom and stay there. With that, he left to complete his order.

"Thank you." He beamed at me, his green eyes twinkling with joy. I didn't help myself from feeling pleased and a small smile broke out on my lips.

"No problem. By the way, what is it?" I pointed at the paper.

"I don't know."

"Seriously, do you even have any clue what would have happened if I haven't come to your rescue?"

"You risked your life for that. I don't know whether to think of you as stupid or brave." I grumbled throwing my hands in disbelief. How can something be so laid back? Does someone really jeopardy his life for his friends? 

"Nope and it doesn't matter now. You came to my rescue and that's what matters"- he smiled at me -"and for the later one, stupid I guess if it means helping your friend."

I huffed shaking my head in defeat. "It can't be helped, I guess."

He smiled. "Thanks very much for your help. I owe you a big one."

"For your knowledge, he is a lycan and will recover soon so get out of here."

"What about you?" His perfectly curved brows furrowed in worry.

"I will get out of here, after making sure, he doesn't remember about us." I winked at him, smirking.

"Okay. See ya." He smiled at me. I kept looking at him until he was out of my vision.

I know helping him was dangerous but I can't help myself from helping him. Well, it's time to wrap things up.
