"Ahh," I heaved a frustrated sigh as it was taking ages for Linda and Sammy to get Ash ready.

Ren was unwilling to talk to me and was playing games while Zane was reading magazines. They both were acting calmly but I can tell they ain't. Ren's shoulders were tense and from his expression, he was having a hard time concentrating.

Zane kept on glancing at the time. Everyone was uptight and I couldn't blame them. We are not dealing with humans but a rogue here.

It's an important mission. Everything depends on us three. If anyone of us screwed up, it would be the beginning of a war that none of us wants so we have to do it right.

I leaned back on the sofa tired of waiting.

"Ta-da," Linda exclaimed gleefully, a grin plastered on her face like she had won a prize.

"Here comes," Sammy and Linda shared a look and stepped aside.

"Oh my!" I gasped and covered my mouth with my hands, staring at him with wide eyes. He looks....calling him beautiful would be an understatement.

"Ain't he looking cute?" Linda exclaimed cheerfully.

"I can't believe my eyes," Zane stood up abruptly, his eyes wide with awe.

Ash, dressed as a waitress is standing there shyly. No one could believe he was a guy after looking at him like that. He was looking like a barbie doll with a lean waist and long legs. They had painted his eyes with beautiful colours, the dark black liner accentuating his alluring green eyes.

"Will you be my girlfriend, gorgeous?" I said playfully kneeling before him, forwarding my hand like a prince.

To my surprise, he played along with me. He slowly lifted his thick eyelashes and our gaze met. "Yes." He winked at me.

"Hyee!" I pretended to fall from his wink with my hands on my heart.

He chuckled before grabbing my hand and helping me up.

"Are you finished?" Ren looked at me with an indifferent expression.

He is such a bummer.

"He is mine. Don't put your dirty eyes on him!" Sammy glared at me.

Ash furrowed his perfectly curved brows. "Did I hear it wrong or did you just say-"

"No. She was just kidding." Linda intervened, throwing a glare in Sammy's direction, she pulled her back.

I couldn't help but grin. "How I wish you were a girl and I would have done anything to make you mine." Ash chuckled and patted my shoulder.

He pouted and he looked adorable. I want to click his picture but I am sure he won't be happy about it.

"Alas! I ain't. Maybe in the next life." He gave me a playful smile.

I grinned, "I can become gay for you, ya know."

"Sam!" Sammy glared at me and stood between us.

I lifted my hands in surrender, "I am just kidding, sis. I am into girls." I chuckled and she let out a sigh of relief.

"Now lover boy, let's go." Ren grabbed me by the back of my shirt and dragged me with him.

He came to a halt and glanced behind his shoulder. "You look stunning, Ash."

Did I hear it right?

I turned to peer at him and was flabbergasted to see his reaction.

Oh my! He was blushing. He gave me a whack on the back of my head and continued dragging me.

I glanced back one last time before the shitting of the door.

If he was a girl, I would have definitely fallen for him, his innocent eyes, his heart-warming smile. I mean who wouldn't have! I am happy to be his friend.

I passed my hand through my hair and shook my head. I am such a jerk! What am I thinking?

'Focus, Sam, and stop grinning like an idiot!''

'Oops, my bad.' I grinned at him before composing myself and straightening my clothes.

"Let's go."

"Aunt, I am going to stay tonight at Ren's place."

"That's great. Have fun and don't stay up late. You have school, you know!"

"I won't!"

"And we won't be here tonight. I was worried you would be alone but looks like there is no need for that. Take the spare key with you, in case you need something."

"Okay." I put the spare key in my pocket.

"I'm off now." With a peck on her cheek, I dashed outside.

It's Wednesday and tonight we are going to execute the plan. I am kind of excited, I have only seen something like this in movies but now I'm going to be the one doing it, though I would be disguised as a girl.

I'm only doing this for their sake. I just hope I won't botch. I have to take it back, no matter what I have to do.

They both told me it won't take much time and to relax so here I am relaxing on the chair with my eyes closed as they do my makeup.

I am supposed to play the most crucial part. I need to be focused and alert. The slightest mistake will ruin everything.

"It's done," Linda's cheerful voice broke my train of thoughts and I slowly opened my eyes and was astounded to look at the person in front of me.

"Is it really me?" I stared at my reflection in the mirror. They had done a light make-up on my face which I'm glad for, a brown wig with shoulder-length wavy hair.

"It's hard to believe but it's you." Linda placed her hands on my shoulders before squeezing my cheek, "I envy you. You are looking so cute." She chuckled.

"It's enough," Sammy removed her hands from me, glaring at her.

"What! I'm just stating the truth!"

"I am sure you have got your mother's features. She must be as beautiful as you look."

"Linda!" Sammy nudged her side, glaring at her, and whispered, "Shut up."

"Everyone says so," I muttered softly as my gaze fell.

Not now.

I closed my eyes and took a deep calm breath.

"It's alright. Now back to the plan."

"Okay. You know what you have to do. You just need to spike his drink with this and lured him into the room. Give a sign to Sam and Ren when you are done."

"If anything happens, call them instantly and run out of there. They don't look like it but they can handle any problem," Sammy added with a small smile. I nodded.

"Can I look at his picture one last time?" I asked nervously.

"Sure. Don't be nervous. You will do just fine. We have faith in you!" She patted my shoulder lightly as I looked at the picture.

"Do as we have taught you!"

"Don't worry, I will do my best," I added with an assuring smile.
