Ash looked around the waiting room where the other trainers where waiting for their battle. A woman called "Elxte4" was currently battling a kid called "This_Is_SPARTA". Ash wasn't really paying attention to the battle though, and was more focused on scouting trying to find his opponent. The only clue he had was the username, which was "Hugh Mungus".

He realized he had some time to spare and decided to go chat with his friends. There wasn't any rule against leaving the building as long as you got back before your battle. He walked over to Iris, whom was standing by herself.

"Hey, Iris. Where is everyone else?" Ash asked as stood next to her. She shrugged.

"They went to sightsee," Iris replied. "But Dawn had to use the lady's room. I'm waiting for her before catching up with the others."

"Could I go sightseeing with you guys?" Ash did want to explore, and his battle wasn't slated until two hours later.

"Sure! They all should be up by the square," Iris said, "And it looks like Dawn is finally done."

Dawn exited the restroom and exchanged hellos with Ash. The trio set off to kill time before the battle. And to catch up with the others.
