Among the creatures of The forest, there is a unique sub class that affects only a few creatures, this effect is called titanism, and it's usually a trait displayed among the following species: masunas, any species of dragon excluding pixie and charcoal dragons, anakade, akades, hyttas, corpse scavengers, centaurs, harpies, inus, Ōkamis, nekos, sudras, kitsunes, shika, usagi, and cloud foxes in especially rare cases.

Titanism is a recessive trait that enlarges the creature affected by it, with an example being that an average masuna is 18.7198 meters tall, which is 60'17" where has a titan masuna is double that height.

Despite being called titans, only two species have different names when referring to the Titanized counterparts, those two species are Kitsune's and Okami's. A titan Okami is usually referred to as an Ultima, while a titan Kitsune is referred to as a Kyūbinokitsune, which translates to nine tailed fox.

titanism is displayed differently among humanoid creatures among the forest of the mystics. Centaurs and herpes appear to be the only humanoids that follow the same rules as non-humanoid species that can be affected by the Titan trait, Whereas in inus, nekos, Ōkami's, Kitsune's, and Shika it doesn't affect them while in there more human form. Instead, the titan trait only displays when the humanoid transforms into the more animalistic form, leading to cases where a humanoid creature that is affected by the Titan trait can go their entire life without knowing they are a titan.

Out of every tighten the smallest two are the Titan Neko and the Kyūbinokitsune, with the Titan Neko ranging in at about 6 m tall and the Kyūbinokitsune ranging at about 5 to 5 1/2 m tall. The largest titan is the titan masuna, followed by the Titan scorching dragon

Something worthy of note is that The Titanism trait affects other parts of The creature, for example masuna's have the worst eyesight among the creatures in the mystic forest, however a titan masuna's eyesight is extremely clear, allowing it to catch flying dragons if it's so chooses to hunt them. Titanism also affects Kitsune's in a unique way, while being the smallest of the Titans, The titan trait in a Kitsune gives them Ninetails each ranging in at 4 m in length. As an added bonus with the kit soon it is rumored that some Kyūbinokitsune have the ability to control fire, however this is debatable. The trait also allows ultimas, inus , and nekos to lead their own packs/clans.

Another notable thing about this trait is that one of the existing Titans among the generation gains an urge to protect humans from the dangers of the forest. There is no set order as there was one point in documented history where 3 different Ōkami A part of different generations back to back gained this urge to protect humanity.

It is unknown why but titanism seems to also increase the intelligence in certain species, such as the masuna and the vine dragon, allowing these titans more capability with emotional and logical thinking. One documented case reported a titan masuna taking pity on a kitsune that had seemed to sprain it's ankle, choosing to spare its life rather than eat the injured humanoid.

Other than that this trait seems to need more research, as it isn't common to see two Titans of the same species in one generation.

All we know so far is that the trait is Seemingly a keystone in keeping the mystic forest from attacking humans.
