"What do you do when you've missed your window of opportunity?", asked Thor as he walked around the lab. He took his time looking at the many weapons stored around. The lab of Stark Industries never failed to fascinate him.

Tony replied, "I don't understand what you're asking".

Thor turned, watching him repair his Iron Man suit and asked, "You've never missed one before?"

With a scoff, he answered, "Look at me. This is the face of a man who always gets a window of opportunity. Always."

The sound of metal crunching on metal carried throughout the room as Tony began tearing apart a damaged portion of the Iron Man suit.

Still wanting more helpful insight, Thor called out to get his attention. 

No answer. 

He called out louder.

"What?" came Tony's reply as he put the repair on hold. "What is it?"

Thor began, "So what should I...."

He was cut off as the loud sound of the metal drilling filled the room.

"Tony!"

"What is it again?"

"You're trying to shut me up, aren't you?"

"I'm sorry I thought that was clear enough. Shut up, I'm trying to concentrate", replied Tony as he put his goggles back on.

Then with a sigh, he removed his goggles and looked at Thor. Taking that as a cue, Thor proceeded, "I care about Jane a lot. But I worry that I am not enough for her."

Feeling a sense of frustration boil within him, he paced around the room for a while before speaking up again, "I am not an earthly being. I have no idea how love is shown on this planet. Only last week, I discovered that people go on these things called dates."

Thor leaned against a wall and crossed his arms. He spoke softly this time, almost as if to himself, "How am I supposed to keep her happy if I don't know how? I see what you have with Pepper and I see how happy she is with you."

Tony chimed in, "Well that's debatable".

"Regardless, she's happy with you."

"Alright see, I don't have a whole speech on what to do. I'm always out of my depth with Pepper, It's a miracle that she even puts up with me. So here's what I think: Screw the norm. There's no blueprint for that kind of stuff. You've got to figure it out for yourself. Decide what works for you and your love."

Picking up his tools again, Tony said "And if I'm done being your fairy godmother now, I'd like to get back to work. Shut the door after you." 

The sound of metal at work continued.
