I lay in bed next to Ponyboy in bed nine months pregnant. I look over at Ponyboy over my huge belly, "I love you."

He turns over wrapping his warms around just my stomach, "I love you too, pretty girl." 

"I'm not pretty," I laugh.

"What do you mean?" He asks all offended. 

"Look at me. I'm not pretty, not with this stomach," I speak as I lay my hand on me.

He leans over to me whispering, "you're even pretty when you have morning sickness."

"Thanks," I yawn.

"Are you tired?" He asks.

I nod my head, "a little."

He stands up, "lets go to bed."

I place my hands on the bed and push myself up off the bed. Ponyboy supports me until he leads me into the guest bedroom that is now mine. After Ponyboy almost died, he insisted on me telling. I lay down in bed and look at him, "remember the promise we have for when I'm not pregnant."

He bends down pecking my lips, "of course, I'm remember my love. We're going all the way."

I smile as I look down, "use protection, unlike Dally did."

"I promise," he chuckles as he pecks my lips once again. I open my eyes looking into his and I peck his lips over and over and over and over again.

As we finally pull away I giggle happily, "I love you Ponyboy."

"I love you more," he smiles. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight, my love," I say as he walks out of the room closing the light.

I wake up the morning earlier than usual with excruciating pain. "Oh my god!" I grab my stomach. I go to sit up, but the pain gets worse. I clutch onto my stomach as I scream, "Darry!" After a few moments the pain goes away and I feel water. "Ponyboy!" I yell as I slam down on the bell he put next to my bed multiple times. I push myself off the bed, but it doesn't take too long before the pain comes back. I clutch onto the dresser next to me, slowly falling to the ground. "Ponyboy! Sodapop! Darry! Anybody! Oh my god ow!"

I hear footsteps running up the stairs followed by Johnny's voice, "oh my god Ava! Are you okay? Is Sammie okay?"

I nod my head slowly as pain pounds through my body, "I'm in labor."

He eyes go wide and he bends down next to me, "what do you want me to do?"

"Get Ponyboy!" I command as the pain goes away. "No, never mind. Help me get up and slowly walk to me Ponyboy."

He nods even though his face has some sad emotion written onto his face, "of course."

We get a few steps before the pain comes back and I scream loudly. Johnny tries to support me, but we end up both collapsing on the floor. "Ponyboy!"

"I'll go get him!" Johnny jumps up running into the room.

Pony and Soda rush out. Pony drops to his knees as he grabs my hand, "I'm here now, my love. Don't worry I'm here."

I squeeze his hand as hard as I can as the pain comes kneeling over, "please make it stop!" I look up tears rolling down my cheeks. "I can't do this."

"Yes you can, I believe in you," he speaks softly as he nods his head.

"No I can't, " I sob as I shake my head.

"You've made it this far," he smiles. "Just keep working at it. It'll be worth it."

Soda looks down at me, "I'll get Darry and we'll take you to the hospital."

"Are you ready to see her?" My nurse asks holding a little baby wrapped in pink in her arms.

I nod my head as she places my baby in my hands, "yes please."

She follows up by handing me a birth certificate and a pen.

Samantha Denise Winston....

Ponyboy walks in and kisses me on my head, "what's her full name?"

"Samantha Denise Winston," I smile down at my baby.

He sits next to me kissing my cheek, "you named her after Dally."

I nod my head, "he'd love her."

"He really would," Pony smiles as he grabs her little hand.

"This is your daddy," I smile as she giggles. "Wanna take her?"

He nods as he grabs her out of my hands, "hi Sammie Denise."

I smile as I get up, "I'm gonna go by the gang."

He nods his head as I walk out. Diamond and Liz both run over to me hugging me tightly, "oh my god Ava!"

"Hey," I giggle as I hug them back.

"I'm gonna guess Sammie is born," Two-bit jokes as he hugs me.

I nod my head hugging him back, "yes she is."

Sodapop picks me up spinning me around, "you look so tired!"

"Jerk!" I slap him playfully before hugging him. "I love you."

"I love you too," he smiles as he kisses my cheek in a brotherly way.

I walk over to Darry and smile as I poke his arm, "hey Darbear, you should loosen up because, you have a niece in the other room."

He laughs slightly as he hugs me with one arm...classic Darry, "brave of you leaving her with Ponyboy."

"I'm only slightly scared," I joke as I walk to the next person in line, Johnny. I hug him tightly, "thanks for helping me this morning...Really it means a lot."

I walk over to Stevie and hug him, "don't worry, it's your turn now."

He chuckles as he hugs me back, "congrats, on everything Ava. I know this past year hasn't been the easiest."

"Thanks," I whisper into his ear. "I love you."

"I love you too," he whispers back.

I walk back into my hospital room to see Ponyboy staring down at a sleeping Sammie, I smile slightly as I sit next to him, "hey."

"Hey." he smiles as he looks over at me.

I peck his lips, "I love you Ponyboy."

"I love you too Avery," he smiles back.

"Ready to go home?" I ask him.

He nods as he stands up grabbing my hand, "I'm gonna marry you someday Ava. I want you to know that."

"I know," I nod my head.

 Awe! This was such a cute chapter in my opinion! It would also be a great way to end the book  Although, it's not over yet. We still have one or two more chapters. Stay gold. Do it for Johnny!
