Jared's POV

She was glaring at me, Tanya's green-blue eyes were menacing in the lighting of the principal's office. I didn't care though, because I finally had Mersea all to myself. I had an arm wrapped around her shoulders, her head hidden in my stomach. I calmed her down enough so that she stopped crying. 

"Come in my office you three," the principle demanded calmly. We all stood and entered his office, not without Fable shoving me a little, making my veins boil once more. She is ticking me off. We all sat in chairs far apart facing his desk. 

"What happened?" principal asked. 

"HE called me a lesbian!!" Tanya yelled and pointed at me accussingly.

Rolling my eyes, I scoffed at her. Principal stared at me, "Why?" I shrugged and stared at Mersea. "What did you do?" 

"She flicked me so I tackled her then she beat my face, which tickled more than it hurt," I said with a monotone laugh.

Principle sighed deeply. Then turned to Mersea, "And you?" 

She shook her head. I can feel how scared she was. She never gets sent to the office. I responded for her, "She wasn't a part of this." 

Fable had flames in her eyes. "She had PDA with Jared!!" she blurted out. Mersea gasped in shock at what her 'best friend' had just done. She was not worthy of Mersea's friendship. 

Mersea was freaking out. Our school doesnot take PDA lightly. I heard that there was this one time when a boy got kicked out of school for making out with a girl a year younger than him during lunch. It's kind of pathetic. Principal stood up and cleared his throat. "I have decided to let you of with a warning Mersea since you have never had an offense, but for you two I have other plans. You may leave now Mersea." 

Mersea stood up reluctantly and walked out giving a side glance at me before leaving. "Jared you will have a detention and Tanya you will have outdoor suspension for two days. Now get back to class," he ordered.

After school...

I placed my textbook in my locker and slammed it closed. When I turned around I saw Mersea looking up at me a few feet away. I smiled, but she didn't smile back. "What's wrong?" I asked pulling her to me. 

"She's not my friend... She told me she isn't my friend anymore," she muttered, her eyes blank. 

"I'm sorry, cupcake," I hugged her tightly. This was all my fault. 

"How am I going to get to school?" she whispered. 

I laughed at that. She didn't even care that Tanya left, she just needed a ride to school. "I'll be glad to drive you and your sister," I proposed. Her smile spread across her face as she jumped up and down excitedly. 

I entertwined our fingers and walked out side of the school. Serina was waiting for us by my car. How did she know she was going with me? She nodded her head at me. "Serina guess what?" Mersea exclaimed in glee. 

Serina laughed. "You and Jared are dating, I know," she pointed to out hands. Oh wow. I clicked the unlock button and Serina hopped into the backseat. I let go of Mersea's hand, she whimpered but proceeded to the passenger's seat. 

Before I could walk to the driver's seat I was knocked to the ground. The skin on my arm was scraped clean off by the asphalt. I hissed. I closed my eyes and held back my anger. I can't shift now people will see me. In the distance, I heard Mersea scream. But I had to run, I had no choice.

I was in the forest sprinting away from civilization. Her scream replaying in my mind. She was worried and terrified. I finally stopped running. My anger was still boiling in my veins. I opened my eyes, my vision fogged by red. "You thought you could run?" I heard a deep voice ask behind me. 

"I don't run."

"Looked like running to me," he chuckled dryly. 

I growled. I stood up and turned toward Alpha Jo. "We have some unfinished business," he smirked and landed a hard punch to my nose. 

I heard a crack and I fell to the ground. I let myself shift. My wolf was in full control. Still in human form, Alpha Jo laughed at me his eyes black like an eclipse. "You think you can defy your Alpha? Shift back!" he used his alpha command on me. I flinched but didn't shift back. He walked toward me and yelled it again, "Shift BACK!" 

I snapped. I lunged at him and bit down on his arm. 'Never disrespect my wolf.' I growled and threw him against the ground. I pounced on him and slammed my paws against his stomach. He spat up blood and coughed. He then shifted into his grey wolf. Much larger than me it seemed lik I had no chance. He lunged for my throat, but too quick I jumped and slammed him down again. I bit down his neck until I drew blood. He shook me off and I landed next to a tree. I howled and growled in anger. 'Leave me the fuck alone!' I said.

'You're in my pack you will obey me!' he demanded. No! No more! Never again! I will break this pack link. He tried to hurt Mersea. I sped toward him and when he thought I was going to strike him I stopped and rolled over. He jumped over me and I bit down on his soft underbelly and slammed him to the ground. He struggled under me while I kept biting and scratching at his belly. I bit his ear and teared it off. He howled in pain. I felt our pack link break and I kicked him away from me. I ran through the forest toward my house. I'll call Mersea when I get home. I hope she's safe.

Serina's POV

Mersea screamed her lungs off. Jared was on the ground breathing hard. I was in the car still. Jared ran into the nearby woods and Jo followed suit. I hopped out of the car and grabbed Mersea's hand. "Let's go!" I said. She sobbed but nodded. 

I towed her into the woods. We have to get home before Jo finds me. I know he will be after me when he finishes with Jared. I hope Jared is ok. I kept running toward our house. I made sure that Mersea was safely behind me. She was staring at the ground running behind me, worry was aparent on her face. I looked back to where I was headed and found myself on the floor, a heavy weight on my shoulders. I groaned in annoyance. Jo. 

His sharp teeth was bared, his thick saliva dripped onto my cheek. Ew. His ear was torn and blood was dripping on me from is belly. I laughed at how pathetic he was. He growled and went to snap me but a rock hit him in the nose. Snot and blood splattered on me. I took this moment to throw him off his feet and I shifted into my cream and gray wolf. I chuckled again. I will have fun tearing him limb from limb. 'Why do you laugh Serina?' he growled, stalking closer. 

'I will have Jacob and you will leave me and him alone. You're a pathetic fool to think you can over power me. You are WEAK. Especially now...' I laughed again, 'You've been teared apart by a newbie. A werewolf with no skill. I will train Jared myself and he will become even stronger and together you will fall and your pack will be nothing. So bring it you big puppy.' I spat at him venom spilling through every word.  

He contemplated his chances with a sly eye, I smirked. I knew he will run, but he will be back when he isn't weak. I don't have time to deal with a weak werewolf like him at this moment so I picked up Mersea in my mouth and placed her on my back. I began walking away. 'You won't defeat me! I will get you and Jacob,' he spat.

I stopped in my tracks when I heard Jacobs name. Is he hurting Jacob? Jacob. Jacob. "Run off you stupid wolf!" I heard Mersea yell. I jumped around before Jo was able to get at Mersea, I scratched his face knocking him to the ground.  Then I stomped on his bloody stomach, knocking him out cold from pain. I ran as fast as my werewolf legs could take me back to our house. 

Mersea's POV

I sat on the couch thinking. Spongebob was playing on the large TV in front of me. Spongebob he is a figure of lust. It makes sense he falls in love with everyone. It's pretty hilarious. I closed my eyes. What happened today? Why did Jo try to hurt Jared? Jared. What has he gotten himself into? Where is he? Is he safe? What did he do to deserve this? My thoughts were interrupted by a distant howl. I opened my eyes and turned my head to the door leading to the forest behind my house. I opened the glass slide door and heard the howl again but louder and closer. I walked into the forest, searching for the source. What if it's the big bad grey wolf? It would be Red Riding Hood all over again. 

I heard rough breathing next to me. I turned to find the black wolf that saved me from the grey wolf last time. His head was low and his glowing green were focused on me. I took a step to him. He stepped away and whimpered. "It's ok. You won't hurt me," I cooed. I stepped closer and carefully placed a hand on his muzzle. His tail raised a little and wagged from side to side slightly. 'I needed to see you were alright,' he whimpered. I backed away. 

"I can hear you?" I thought I wasn't able to understand wolves. He barked at me. "What? Why can't I hear you anymore?" He touched me with his cold wet nose. 

'I think when we touch, you can understand me.' I nodded. 'Cupcake are you hurt?' he asked.

I shook my head and hugged his fur. "Why are you still a wolf?" 

'I have a problem. If I get mad, agitated, or scared I am forced to shift by my wolf, but I cannot shift back until I am fully calm. I'm perfectly fine now that I know your safe, but if I turn back now... Uh... I'll be naked,' he chuckled. I blushed, thinking abou thim with out clothes. He licked my face. 'I know you would like that,' he teased. I blushed even more. Oh no! Now I seem like a very horny girl. 'It's ok were mates after all,' he raised his tail high and let out a deep howl. I can feel the love radiating from his howl. 'Now go back inside and stay safe. I'll call you later.' And with that Jared bounded away and through the forest to, I'm guessing, his house.
