Jack watched as North paced around the room. "We could throw snowballs at him with rocks inside." Jack offered."It won't stop Thanatos." North replied. "He's cunning and smart. He knows how to get his way." Sandman tinkled showing a variety of images above his head. Jack didn't understand what they meant, but the others did. "Sandy!" Tooth cried out. "That's brilliant!" "Not to mention risking our own lives." Bunny grumbled. "What?" Jack asked, looking back and forth at the Guardians. North sighed. "This way Jack."

Jack followed North into a large oval room with vaulted ceilings and beautiful artwork of nature scattered throughout. It was dark and when North flicked a dim light, it appeared as though the room hadn't been touched in several years. But the strange thing was the silver glow coming from the giant box in the center of the room. "That's her." North said. "Her?" Jack asked. As North and Jack approached, the silver melted in glass revealing a beautiful girl wrapped in leaves and a blanket of grass. Her skin was the color of fresh dirt and her hair was the color of the sun. It appeared to be an odd combination, but it was beautiful all the same. "That," North said, placing a hand on Jack's shoulder. "It Gaea, Mother Earth and the oldest Guardian."
